Also your lighting is fine you do a wonderful job and I take my hat off to you and everybody else that does these videos. 😘 I would like to nominate my daughter Jade for she has been struggling a bit. She has 3 children under 6 one which she had during lockdown last year and found very difficult. She learnt how to crochet a couple of years ago and finds it helps her to escape. You and Tim are so kind and generous. I’d like to nominate my sister Julie. She’s a wife and mother to 5 children. Covid has hubby working at home and children homeschooled on and off the past 18 months. A busy and noisy household. Just this past week their daughter contracted covid She’s ok but was a rough first week. Then both adults contracted it as well. They have had the first shot so their symptoms were very mild thank goodness. But it has prolonged their quarantine another week. Just hoping and praying the 4 boys stay covid free or it could go on all summer being stuck in a small house and tiny backyard. Julie is an avid knitter and crafter when time allows. I just know a n advent calendar or any surprise goodie would being some joy to her. Xoxoxoxoxo
Counselling is indeed very wearing as it’s you doing all the thinking etc but there are good benefits to be had. Hope you are able to stick with it and come out the other side so to speak feeling much better about life. You certainly have indeed been through some rough and stressful times. Love your podcasts.....ooh and whatever lip product you are using looks gorgeous. 👍😀
Very nice to see you again. I miss seeing what you have been busy making. Your Santa clause is brilliant! I have one of Kerry Lord books…..the doll one, and the body is the same as for Santa. Your lighting is good. I wouldn’t worry about it. I’d like to nominate a very special friend of mine for the advent. Her name is Dillis, she’s 82 years young, and she recently had a fall which resulted in a broken finger. Because her hand and lower arm is in plaster, she can’t crochet or knit, and it’s driving her bananas. I would love for her to receive such a massive treat. Thank you for this opportunity. Enjoy London!

Hello lovely Jeanette, another great podcast...so sorry you are struggling at the moment, it's been such a tough time, so I'm sending you a big warm hug...💕 your duck is going to look gorgeous, I have just knit Dorothy the mouse....she just needs putting together, I just love that book and want to make all the animals..!!! Your stripey bee socks are so lovely, it seems a shame to frog the lot..I was wondering if you could just remove the toe ( using the method as if to put in an afterthought heel on both front and back, that way removing the toe) and then knit a new toe from sock down...??? I hope that makes sense....take care and have a wonderful time in London...😘xx
Hello Jeanette... You are a real star - and I hope you're having a wonderful break! Thanks for sharing, Jeannette. The lighting seems fine to me.I wouldn't worry about it. I'm excited to hear about your trip to London. I wonder what you will decide to see and do. You and Amanda (Shutter Monkey) have more perseverance than I do in making those dolls with all the hair curls! Awesome Santa. Love the watermelon socks. I think there is something to having finished objects, and not alot not wips, that make us feel better sometimes. I can't have too may wips or I feel out of control and like I get nothing done even when I work on things. Those kittens a are beautiful!😍 I hope you do make Tue gloves in blue. So pretty. Take care and we'll see you later🙂🤗
Hello Jeanette I hope you have a lovely break in London, come back refreshed and ready to get crafting. I love your podcasts and the lighting is fine so don't worry about it. Time spent with you is like spending time with a good friend.
Enjoy London, you will have a blast. I would like to nominate Cheryl King. She doesn’t do social media but I think it would give her a big boost. Her husband isn’t well. She has lost a daughter in covid. She has health issues but she has such a positive outlook for life, keeps me sane. Good luck to all xx
I would like to nominate my daughter Sandra. She has found the Covid time very hard as she has MS and then she had a Bells Palsy attack. She is in recovery now but will be left with some side affects. So a gift to her would be awesome. She is a knitter and crocheter. Thank you for a great podcast.
Fab podcast as always. I'd like to nominate Laura of the lonely knitter/crafters balm/bumbling yarns. She's had some health struggles but she's always so bubbly on Instagram and her podcasts, really makes me smile. She's someone who doesn't seem to realise how fab she is xxx
Thank you - I just loved listening to your chit-chat today and I think you’re amazing to do what you do even when life has been throwing obstacles in your way. Your lighting seems completely fine to me, by the way! I was so happy to see that you’ve bought Mini Knitted Woodland and I know you’re going to enjoy it! Sending my very best wishes for a wonderful time in London. Take care xx
Hello Jeanette thank you for the lovely video l wondered where you had been and l understand how you are feeling l have been going through much the same as yourself and it is not easy by any means to find the enthusiasm to do anything when you feel low and depressed with all this odd way we are all living at the moment . l think you are doing a brilliant job in pushing on and getting a video out for everyone ,keep smiling all the best to you and your family and always remember this will pass and we will get through and come out the other side much love take care ❤️🐕🐰🌷🐾🧦
Hi Jeanette. Sorry I quizzed you about doll patterns when you were feelling so low. You have been through such a lot but you've made it out the other side and gained all your RUclips friends along the way. That's a clever idea in the knitted toy pattern to mark where the limbs go. I'm never quite sure how to position them. Your watermelon socks look great. I'm going to keep an eye out for some of that yarn. What a lovely group of little crocheted items (I can't spell the proper word and spell check is no help!) Take care and I hope you feel better soon. X
Hello Jeanette great podcast/vlog/you tube thingy! (can you tell I am not a technical person)! Thank you for sharing all your makes, creations, everyday life stories and for recommending others what a lovely person you are. I am quite new to knitting, crochet and sewing, I only took them up during the first lockdown and so glad I had a go at something I have wanted to do for like 'EVER'. I would like to learn how to knit socks and to crochet an amigurumi or two! so if you have any REALLY EASY patterns you could recommend to start with I for one would be soooo grateful to you. As for your very generous giveaway I would like to nominate my daughter Lauren. She is the most kindest person I know, truly. She never puts herself first always others. During lockdowns she did all my shopping for me, even came and took my dog out for walks and she doesn't live that near to me. She works as a CSW (classroom support worker) in a secondary school which can be very challenging at times, but she never complains and has earned the trust of many she supports. I am so proud of her Jeanette. Again when schools were off during lockdown she made sure she was online every day to continue to support her troubled learners. Lauren and her partner have just bought their first house together and so going out is at the moment on hold until they finish making their new house a home. so I thought a Crafty Cleggs Creations Advent box would be right up her 'new street'! (pardon the pun). Thank you again Jeanette x BTW I live in Wirral not that far from you! and I come from London!! xx
Hi Tracey I find kornflake stew crochet patterns really easy, there really fun to make but nice and easy to follow. If you look on Pinterest there are lots of easy first time crochet amigurumi crochet patterns. Another opinion is Etsy, again type in what type of item you fancy, ie teddy, doll the list is endless. Jeannette The lighting is fine. I can see all your fab projects. Enjoy your trip to London. I'm making Dorothy the mouse from the same book and loving it. I also hope to make Amelia. Since you have such experience with soft animals, do you have any tips to avoid wobbly heads? I haven't sewn the pieces of my mouse yet, but want the head to sit up nicely so any help would be much appreciated. Love Emma from NZ
Hi Emma When I’m making all my dolls or teddy’s as long as there not for children, I stuff my head and body then I get a wooden skewer and blunt of both ends then push it done into the body leaving and 2 ins for in the head. Works wonders! Xxxx. Hope this helps.

Take care, stay safe and stay well xx
I would like to nominate Caz from the Wee sew and sew. As she’s just lost her husband David very suddenly and it will give her something to hopefully look forward to in the winter months. 🥲😇
I’d like to nominate my friend & colleague Jo D who is a Children’s nurse & has had to self isolate since March 2020. She is a lovely kind person who loves sewing, knitting & crochet. I miss her on the ward as we love a good crafty natter in between patients. She would be over the moon to receive the advent calendar.
I hope you feel more like yourself soon. Just be kind to you 🤩
I hope you have a lovely trip and recharge your batteries. I’d like to nominate my mom for the box, she’s waiting on having surgery.
❤️
Hi Jeanette I’m glad to see your video pop up . You always seem so smiley so it’s horrible to hear your have been struggling a little . I hope your trip to London helps a little I’m sure you and your husband will have a lovely time . I’d like to nominate Ali from little drops of wonderful as she is also struggling right now and through lockdown she was a great help to lots with her daily vlogs which I’m sure she doesn’t give herself credit for . Btw your lighting seems fine to me it’s a lot better than some I’ve seen . Chin up and keep smiling and stay safe x
Love the father Christmas 🎅 I would love to nominate my cousin, she is such a supportive person and has helped keep me sane during various dramas, she is an avid knitter and has a tough time but is always cheerful and willing to help. She helps her friend who has a severely austic child while dealing with her own austic child.
I would nominate caz from wee sew n sew she just lost her beloved hubby David
Jeannette The lighting is fine. I can see all your fab projects. Enjoy your trip to London. I'm making Dorothy the mouse from the same book and loving it. I also hope to make Amelia. Since you have such experience with soft animals, do you have any tips to avoid wobbly heads? I haven't sewn the pieces of my mouse yet, but want the head to sit up nicely so any help would be much appreciated. Love Emma from NZ
Hi Emma
When I’m making all my dolls or teddy’s as long as there not for children, I stuff my head and body then I get a wooden skewer and blunt of both ends then push it done into the body leaving and 2 ins for in the head.
Works wonders! Xxxx. Hope this helps.
I would like to nominate Fruity knitting. They’ve had a tough year and the holidays will probably be just as rough. The Advent, I believe , will bring a bit of joy to what may be a less than stellar holiday season. Regards, and thank you for a lovely podcast.
Lovely Video love your Santa. You might or might not be interested but Princess Diana’s Wedding Dress is on Show at Kensington Palace and thought as you were off to London you might be interested. ( you have to book online ) Take care 💕
I would love to get an advent and I nominate Kayla from Llama Mama Kayla RUclips channel. I don’t know her but I follow her and she has had lots of health issues but she is a warrior ❤️
who cares if the lighting is not perfect? Don’t bother moving or worrying about it.
