I like how you shared your experience with the level of detail and how challenging it was on the Navy. Its really better take breaks when you’re burnt out. Done that before too.
This was fun. I love blankets, and I love seeing other people’s blankets. Your navy blanket was really something. I have needed the patients or the skill to do that kind of thing, so I admire others to do it. The blanket you need to bring your baby home looks so cuddly and soft. I know your precious little one. Will love it. I Finn enjoying your videos. I think I’ll go and look at one of the tours, especially if there are more Blanket. 💜😎
Beautiful blankets! Thank you for talking about comfort blankets for children in different situations. I had never thought of donating to police stations, etc. I'm always looking for places to donate to that would be helpful up here in Pennsylvania.
Please check out the group Project Linus. They make and donate blankets for at risk children entering or living in foster care. They mainly focus on making fleece blankets and crocheting a pretty edging around it, but will happily accept crocheted afghans. The blanket given is often the only item some foster kids can take from one home to another (besides clothing items).
Oo, I know exactly what yarn the first blanket is! It's Caron Skinny cakes in the colorway Buttermints, weight 3. It's not available anymore, unfortunately. It was my favorite weight 3 yarn 😢
