PLEASE STOP doing this to me!!! I cannot keep up with all of these amazing things you keep showing. I started the Harlequin Blanket last night and added that to my mountain of WIPs and now I want to try this one! Thanks for everything.
Oh my goodness….You Read My Mind!! 🤣🤣I have a BOD “To-Do” list that seems to just keep growing & growing🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🫶🏼
Thank you I was able to fix it .
I am amazed with Crystal 's knowledge of so many stitches!!!
I Agree. I want to do them all.
I feel your pain! 💕💕💕
Thanks Crystal, I love how you empower us to make such beautiful things with the knowledge you teach us. You're also a great cheerleader for us by telling us we can do it & a wonderful friend to us all. 💜
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for all your videos. God bless you 💜
Lovely simple stitch yet so pretty and warm. Thank you Crystal for another great stitch tutorial. 💙
Thank you! 😊
I like this stitch also! I really like the redheart yarn you use! You make making these stitches doable!🧶😎
I just start making 1 then another 🥰
this is a really pretty stitch
Thank you ❤️
I love this textured stitch, without adding too much yarn to make it heavy.
I really love this stitch! I was just looking for something textured and pretty for a new project and this fits the bill. Thank you for the tutorial. I'm already started on a headwrap using it.
Omg..I love it and thank you Crystal for your awesome tutorials.. You inspire me so much .. ❣
You have always been my favorite. Love you and your family and am always happy to spend time with you.
Thank you so much ❤️
I was looking for something NEW & Wha-Lah! You’ve Done it again… Thank You Sweetheart❤❤❤❤❤
I just love this!!!!! I have being doing a similar stitch for years, but the drop stitch that you show here just knocks this out of the park for me! Thank you so much ❤
Another stitch tutorial I love! This one will have to come after the harlequin stitch as I have to do that one first!! Thankyou Crystal!!!
Thank You!!"😍😍😍
Haha, just finished the Harlequin Stitch Blanket . Thought I would go to bed. Guess not 🤣
I LOVE all of your videos.. It just seems I can follow your instructions and you make it so plain on how to do different stitches.. One thing I would love to ask (and I dont know if you even will see this) but when you make any scarf, would you put a pattern using the same stitch on how to make a hat to match... Thank you so much.... I would love to make a hat using this stitch pattern, but being a beginner, I need HELP!!! LOL
Thanks!
Lol. Yes it is True Blue.. I was holding the same color in my lap as you said that ! 😂
This is a beautiful stitch! Thanks, Crystal, for sharing this. I'm definitely going to be trying this stitch.
Really cool stitch. Beautiful texture.
Beautiful! Gotta go through my yarn stash ~ and soon~ Thank you!
I love this easy stitch, thank you.
Wow, so glad to find you. Thank you for the explanations and great tips.
Thanks for watching!
This is a great stitch! Thank you so much!
Will be doing this stitch also, love it💕
Very nice. Thanks Crystal!
Crystal, once again, you've given all of us on here a wonderful stitch to add to our list of learned stitches. It's so versatile and can be used for so many types of projects and is usable for all weights of yarn.
I find it difficult deciding which I like the most - your stitch tutorials or your project tutorials. I love learning new stitches that I can incorporate into my own projects but it also thrills me to learn how to make projects that I never knew I could make, like the man's cabled vest, various shawls, baby dresses, etc. Thank you so much for expanding my crocheting world beyond blankets.
Blessings!
So beautiful thank you Crystal.
Thank you so much!
❤❤looks amazing. Hopefully I’ll be able to make it with your help
You got this 😊
This is a beautiful stitch.
Thank you ❤️
So pretty! 🧶 Thank you!
Thank you! 😊
Yaaaaay! It's my daily dose of Bag-O-Day!😉😁💖👍
This is a great stitch I love it
Thank you ❤️
I just love your patterns! I began stopping and starting your videos so I could write down what you were doing, and so now I have the ones I really like written down and saved to my "Bag-O-Day Folder" in my documents! I then printed them, put them in a sheet protector and placed them in a 3-ring binder to have at hand when I'm crocheting. Thanks so much for making your patterns easy to follow! This pattern will eventually go into my binder as well.
Yes Carol - I'm doing the same thing. Crystal has so many beautiful patterns. I've made 2 hats & am oñ my 3rd today. There are so many I like it's hard to decide which 1 to make. Crystal you are the greatest instructor - you encourage us to make each pattern, which is great when some patterns are daunting to watch you make. Keep up the great work: Wonderful Job Crystal!!!! God bless you from grandma Katie in Oregon
WOW! This is such a nice stitch and unbelievably easy!!! Thank you Crystal so very much for all you do for us ! 💕🤗
Thanks so much 😊
I am anxious to try this pretty stitch. Thank you.
❤
What is this stitch called ?
My oldest son(29) requested that I make him a throw he could use on the couch with no holes. I saw you making this one, and I thought it was perfect and manly looking too. So I started it last night. His birthday is in September.
Beautiful, and all my favorite accolade, 'one row repeat', same on both sides, can't see through material once made and NOT a yarn eater! Prefect!⭐
Beautiful!
You are absolutely amazing!!! I can’t keep up with all of your amazing projects. I truly appreciate how thorough and simple you make your patterns to follow and understand!!! Thank you so much!!! You are giving me enough projects to keep me busy for quite a while. This pattern is absolutely gorgeous. Need to make a baby blanket and this is perfect!! Please keep them coming.
Thank you so much!
You are truly a "Gem"! I've been inspired, have spent $$ for yarn, gonna watch some tutorials, make some afghans! Thank you! Got my mojo werking! Love, Light, and Blessings ❤🙏🙌✨🤗🕶
I thought I put a post, but I don't see it. Do you think I could use this stitch for the brown vest video?
There are lots of tutorials on this pattern on RUclips, but I haven't seen any that start with a sc row, which makes it easier to put a border on. Thanks for doing that. I'm throwing away the other ones and keeping yours! 👍🙂
Hi Crystal. I really like this stitch and I was wondering if I were to make a stroller size baby blanket (about 28” x 36” or so) with a sport weight or DK/3 weight yarn, how much yarn would I need? Thank you for another great tutorial.
Probably approx 1800 yards
@@BAGODAYCROCHET Thank you so very much.
I really like this one. This would be easy to make in wide stripes, too. I'm going to make one of my grown sons a blanket and I'm debating using the Circuit Stitch and maybe this one. Ack, decisions, decisions! I have a lot of yarn so whether it's a yarn eater or not doesn't much matter, both make lovely textures. Love it, thank you again, Crystal! ~Cynthia
This is beautiful! Thank you for leading me to my next project once again❣️
For anyone wondering - this stitch is sometimes called the Sedge Stitch
This is arlene again the pineapple pattern to follow a long.
I was just getting ready to start a baby blanket but didn't know what stitch I was going to use. Now I know!!! So beautiful and so simple. I just love your tutorials, especially ones like this. Thanks so much for sharing!
You are so welcome!
Chrystal your a crochet genius I love what you do always great tutorials.this is a super stitch thanks so much for all the hard work you do for us.💙💙💙
Thank you so much!
Thanks for the stitches. I've got 2 afghans to make for newlyweds. Have yarn, but trying to figure out how I wanted to work it. This is one and the harlequin is the other. Off to the chair, cup of hot tea, yarn & hook & scissors!!! Thanks!!!
I have always had a favorite that I can do in my sleep. Think you just changed it. I like that this one is more solid than mine. Not suppose to have holes in baby blankets.
Another stitch pattern for me that takes me out of my little box…you made it easy as well!! Thanks, Crystal, for sharing your considerable crochet talent with is! Stay safe and love to you and the BOD fam!! 💕🤗💕
Hi Crystal how are you doing tonight I'm doing fine tonight your projects are very beautiful colors and very beautiful work thank you for sharing stay safe 😊 ☺ 💗
Love this stitch!!! Works up up nicely.
I am including it in a sampler afghan, but will use it for other things too. I like that idea of place mats.
Thank you so much for sharing this.😊
I don't know how I missed this when it first came out, but this is absolutely gorgeous! I love when the stitches work up the same on both sides! 💖 I have a LONG list of your tutorials that I need to make 🤣 This has been added as well. Thank you for being such an amazing teacher and sharing your talents with us Crystal! 💖
My goodness! So happy I found you!!! Can't wait to try this. Getting some yarn tomorrow.
Nice stitch/pattern, adding it to my collection of patterns for my goal of 11 throws for Christmas for my family.
Crystal, you are a perfect teacher! I love that you slow things down, giving newbies a chance to make their stitches. I want to make a stitch sampler afghan. Thank you for all that you do.
Thank you so much!
I'm making a hedge stitch blanket right now. I really like this pattern.
OMG! Just gorgeous! Love this stitch! You are amazing! Thank you for EVERYTHING!
🧶💕❤️💜
I wish I had your brain to do all of these!! I can't wait to stay crocheting again, I have soooo much I want to make from watching you😊💚 If no one told you today, you are beautiful and truly gifted and amazing 😍
I second ALL of that! 💗
You are amazing 😊 I just realized 80% of my projects are from your tutorials! I create so many of your projects, I don’t have to watch the video and I don’t have to read the transcripts. I just need to hear you! 😂 It’s awesomeness! I appreciate you! 😊
So simple but it looks beautiful! Who knew this is how this combo would turn out lol ❤ I already have the yarn in a mauve!!!❤
I crochet for charity and this will be my next stitch I use for a lap blanket. It looks pretty!
I love this stitch think I'm going to make my great niece a baby blanket.
👍👍👍👏👏👏👏💐💐💐💐🙋♀️🙋♀️🦋🦋🦋
I just finished making a cotton dishcloth with this stitch. Love it! Thank you Crystal💜
Wahooo! Add it to my very long list ❤❤❤
Pattern for myself
1. Chain in multiples of 3+2
2. Sc 2nd loop from hook, then sc whole chain
3. Ch 1, turn, sc to first st
4. Skip 2 st, in 3rd st add sc, hdc, dc
5. Repeat step 4 for whole row
6. Only a sc in last st
7. Ch 1, turn, 1st st add sc, hdc, dc (dc into st in previous row (5:40)
8. Skip 2 st, in 3rd repeat sc, hdc, dc (in lower st)… repeat for whole row
9. End row with just 1 sc
10. Repeat this row until the end
Thank you for all the beautiful tutorials - they are FANTASTIC. Can you suggest a border for this pattern. Thank you
Ok this is definitely my new fav stitch. ❤
Love this.. Really love when ya let us know yarn eater or not. Helps more than ya know🤔
Crystal, I love this stitch. I want to make a 2X cardigan using this stitch. With a ribbing around. I have never designed a thing, but in my pea brain, I think it would be pretty simple. Make a back two front, two sleeves ( with ribbing), sew them together, then ribbing the cardigan. The only thing I am worried a bout is actually the sleeves. Any help from you would be totally appreciated. Please😢
Hey I just found this pattern and it's my new FAVORITE, I just wonder how do I add stitches onto this? For example, I am making a dog sweater, and I need to increase and decrease at parts. Thank you ♥
Thank you Crystal. It is always easy to follow your tutorials. Very pretty stitch.
Thank you Crystal ❤🌈♥️
I love this but I keep having the same problem. Ive started over many times and still can’t get it right. The edges are not straight like yours. What am I doing wrong? My stitch count is right. 😢🤷♀️
Thank you restarted it 😊
What is the name of this stitch? Is it your design? I love it, I bought some RH ❤ ombre and was disappointed in it until I found this tutorial. This stitch shows off the ombre perfectly. Thank you.😊
I've been looking for a stitch to use for a single skein of Big Twist Magenta color to use up. Thank you! I will post a picture of my project when I'm done.
I love the sedge stitch, and this tweak makes it even better!
Love this beautiful stitch! How much #4 Red Heart yarn would I need for an average-sized lapghan?
This is similar to a stitch I’m using in a cardigan I’m making. Except after doing the single crochet stitch you go into stitch before that with a double crochet stitch. It makes the garment quite thick. Especially if using an Aran yarn.
I have multiple projects on the hook because I keep finding patterns I love! My husband told me I can't buy more yarn till I use up what I have😭 so I guess I need to get going because Herrschners is having a sale I want to go to!!
I just made some Easter baskets in this stitch!
My pineapple wrap is set aside for now, and my cable blanket. thanks to you Crystal. Any chance you will be making a new tutorial of a hat with a brim?
Is it me, or is there no volume?
Me too not volume
I had to restart RUclips 3 times before I got the volume. I hope that helps
I have volume
I don't hear anything either!! Sad!
The 1st 5 seconds is just a picture... no sound
About how many chain stirches would i need on the first row to make a full sized blanket you think?? Using the same sized yarn you have here.
Hi, Crystal, you are amazing, one favor tho, could you show more stitches that are not yarn eaters? I crochet sets of hats/scarfs and the yarn is donated so must make as many as possible with every skein. You are just the best love your stitches.
I finished my one row repeat. It is heavy like a weighted blanket. I think I should have used a bigger hook. I can't figure out how to add a photo.
Thank you for sharing. Such an easy pattern and your tutorial is spot on. I'm almost done with the blanket looking forward to a grandbaby to use it. Wondering what others think of adding a border?
Do you Tunisian crochet? That's beautiful yarn my favorite colors are blue and black
I have my multiples of three plus two. When I finish the first row I have two loops left over and I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have re-chained a few times and counted over and over again but I still have two loops left at the end.
This is so pretty! Love the stitch and that ombré yarn. I know you like the sunset and fall colors. But I love blue! 💙💙💙
Thank you! 😊
Can you do a 9 point star? For some reason it seems it starts out quite well, but then it gets all wokey... Help me plzzzzz...
Is there a name for this stitch?
Hi this is a beautiful stitch that I decided to make a blanket for my nephew who has a full sized bed. Problem is I need to add more to sides so that it fits the bed. Anyone have any ideas of simple border that might give two to three inches on each side?
How many skeins for an adult blanket? Great stitch!!!
I'm finishing another project right now. But, I'm going to work on something with this stitch next!
