Oh my goodness! As an American I thought the cookie weighed 25 pounds, which is outrageous. But costing 25 pounds is equally outrageous! Love your vlogs!!❤
You're not very wrong. That cookie probably weighs £25😂. It's interesting to see how many businesses in London have positioned themselves to separate the rich from their money
As for the name ‘Knightsbridge’, I once read that when leaving to fight in the crusades, knight’s would cross the bridge mentioned in the video and say farewell to London. As a sign of respect, they would remove their helmet or raise their visor, which is where the tradition of saluting comes from.
About a year ago I went to the mandarin oriental hotel and let me tell you, this place is incredible! The staff are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, the pool, spa and workout room are absolutely fabulous, and the food was delicious! My family and I plan on going back within the next year! I highly recommend! ❤
🙂HANNAH'S Londontowne Walkabouts are always full of very good video shots accompanied by HANNAH's witty & informative commentary. The vlogs are well worth watching! The only down side is they end all too soon--HANNAH always loves & leaves us wanting more!❤
I find myself less and less homesick, as your vlog brings me home every Friday.❤ Even better, my American husband says "it's Hannah Friday!" to remind me to stop and send it to the screen. It's very realistic, as you're on an 85" UHD flatscreen, so you're truly larger than life. 🥰 Never stop being you, you bring sooo much joy! 😘
Hello, I find myself pausing the video so I can map out where you are and where all the amazing buildings, stores and sights are. Every large city has it's problems but I just cannot wait to get over and explore London. I was born in Toronto and although it has a multitude of huge buildings, none have the character and history attached like London's do. Have a great weekend!
Thank you, Hannah! What a stunning neighbourhood. The V&A, yes please! I think it would be the first museum I'd go to if I ever visit London. PS Your videos are never too long!
Sloan Street, we stayed in Sloan Square when we there last November. Did see a few super cars zipping down the streets. The architecture around London is so rich in character and variety. Nice to see how well the traditional architecture is preserved and integrated with the new. Thanks for the Knightsbridge tour as always Hannah!
We got home to Australia a couple of days ago after spending 5 weeks in the UK. Your videos were so handy. We watched plenty of them and they really gave us a lot of ideas of what to go and have a look at. We loved them and I just wanted to say thanks.
Hannah , you are the best ambassador for London. I just love this small journey you take us on. It’s so personable . I’m there with you though I makes me sad I’m so far away . Australia 🇦🇺. I really want to see London so much because of you. I say this all the time but Thank you for all the effort. Your very special Hannah.
Amazing vlog as always Hannah!!! Knightsbridge is a very beutiful area. You are the first one to explore so well those lovely side roads and streets in detail. And what a beautful architecture those buildings have. Really so cool! Each street corner is a postcard view! I loved this vlog. Hannah you are the best! Thanks for this wonderful video you made! Have an amazing Friday! 😀💂🇬🇧 🏵🌹🌺🌻🌷🇬🇧💂
Hannah...this was wonderful. A lot of Philadelphia neighborhoods are like this..Society Hill. Washington Square, Rittenhouse Square...lots of very tiny cosy little streets from the 18th and 19th centuries. Love your London walkabouts. Thankny
Thanks for another fabulous walking tour, Hannah! I'd be really curious about the Mandarin afternoon tea as I went to the Mandarin in Tokyo once and it was an interesting fusion of Chinese, Japanese and British style. Also, that Russian restaurant looked charming: if you ever have a chance to take us with you to that restaurant, it would be fun, too!
Beautiful video of Knights Bridge area. I was a stylist for Vidal Sassoon here in the US. There weren’t many salons worldwide, so it was easy to remember the locations like KB. Btw, your hair looks fantastic. Thank you✨
Nicely done Hannah as always. Your videos always brighten my week. You know with the new subscribers you're adding everyday I think you'll be able to afford one of those lovely row homes one day. Keep up the good work. Mike.
Hannah, please do go to the Berkeley for afternoon Pret-a-Portea! I went last year for my belated 60th birthday and it was the absolute best afternoon tea I’ve ever had - and I’ve had a few! It beats the Savoy, the Athenaeum and the Ritz, to name a few in my opinion. It’s expensive but I think it’s worth it. You will enjoy!
Such a beautiful area. The buildings are so lovely. The prices of the housing is not surprising but once you pay for the actual property you've got other charges on top of it so it will have to be a dream forever. Cant believe that it's September saw Christmas items in our supermarket the other day and it's getting earlier every year. Looking forward to next week. Have a great weekend and fantastic week. ❤❤
I'm with you Hannah, some of the architecture is fantastic. Big part of the reason I love London so much. Have a good week, till next week. ps. Your new haircut looks nice 👌🏻 x
We simply love your commentary 🤣🤣. This walk brought back so many memories of regularly visiting those back streets in the Eighties. Thank you for the weekly entertainment - please keep up the excellent work 👏👏
Thank you again Hannah🌺. Your vlogs are so full of interesting buildings, colours, history and information about the area. You make me feel like I'm there with you. I ❤ London.
How cool looking around the fancier neighbourhoods of London. They look so quintessentially British and very expensive I’m sure. Love the news and gardens . Just beautiful. Looking forward to your autumn vlogs ❤
This vlog was lovely!! I haven’t been down in London in years now, so lovely to see the mews. I will certainly enjoy your fall vlog being a canadian in the UK. Thank you!!
Great to see all those Mews featured. I always find them very quaint and peaceful, and transports you back to a little of the London I wished I had been living in at that time.
Loved this vlog. I stayed in an Airbnb in Knightsbridge last summer, in one of those lovely white brick houses in a quiet square. There was a key for the private garden in the park across the street. It was so peaceful and nice. Great area to walk around shop explore and enjoy the beautiful architecture and history. Great video Hannah, as usual thanks again for a visit back to Knightsbridge.
Hi Hannah another interesting vlog, i like the old architecture those buildings were made to last. The new well what can you say.. have a fantastic weekend See you next Friday. 👋👋.
That was fun! My mews house would be painted either violet or mint, or maybe a combo of both! 😅 I never knew Knightsbridge had Army Barracks, I thought Weilington Barracks near Buckingham Palace accommodated them all. Such an educational channel, Hannah! Have a fab weekend. 🥰💖
First time I visited London I was 14 (1974!) My Fam and I stayed at the London Hilton. I woke up the first morning, looked out my window at Mayfair down below and said out loud "Home" And have felt that way ever since.
I've lived at both ends of the wealth spectrum of Knightsbridge. I've been homeless living on the streets and I've lived in a multimillion pound apartment in Lennox Gardens. Both experiences were actually pretty awesome.
I went to Harry’s when over from Canada on vacation when it first opened and would not go back there myself. Love that Italian Restaurant across from Harrods, always nice. And thanks again for showing us Harvey Nic’s restaurant on the roof, was always nice too. Thanks for this tour, love the architecture and homes. Used to slide into Harrod’s side door and go to their bakery for those big donuts and come back to my hotel and feast on them. Thanks for the tour of the mews homes, so lovely.
Another exceptional vlog! The flats are amazing! You really bring London to life and I can’t wait to go back! Also can’t wait for vlogmas (hope you’re up to filming it all again this year🙏🏻
I really enjoyed this walk. I love the architecture both in the mews & the posh streets. It is fun to see streets that come up in my reading. Today felt a bit like being in a Georgette Heyer book.
This was so interesting! I’ve been Horseriding in Hyde park a few times with my children. We then walked around from the stables & Mews houses to this area, so brings back good memories! Ps loved the scream effect when apartment prices were listed! All so fancy schmancy!
Love your vlogs. We have just come back from London and went to some of the places that you have shown us. Absolutely loved it. Always loved london, something new to explore all the time. Thank you for showing places to go.
What interesting & lovely 18th & 19th century buildings around the Knightsbridge area Hannah especially those Mews where I would not mind living there only drawback is the price.Nice restaurants and good selection of high end shops as well.Great video as always!!!
Hi Hannah, wonderful video! I love these walks & all your commentary! I especially love seeing the Mews and the colour I kind of like is maybe a light grey/blue or creamy yellow with crisp white trim. I almost choked on my coffee when you showed how much a flat costs at The Knightsbridge Apartments! As always your videos are a joy to watch! Hope you had a wonderful weekend, have a great week! Lots of love from Canada! Kathy x 🌺
Always love looking at the properties in Hampstead. The prices are mind-boggling. I guess it's just a drop in the ocean for some. Love all the different colors of the properties. It makes everything look more cheerful, even on a cloudy day. I'm looking forward to your Halloween videos. It should be interesting. Yet again, I love the picture comparisons of days gone by & today. Another great video. Thanks, Hannah. 👍👍👍
Loved this video!!! Do more of these specific location videos. I know you've done similar. But, I really love how you explored Knightsbridge in such detail. Well done😊
Hannah this was very informative to be able to see several very exclusive areas of Knightsbridge....thx so much! Your attention to detail is always so helpful & really adds great perspective to the different areas that you are showing us! Thx again Hannah for selecting a perfect area to vlog & share another beautiful section of London with us! Have a great week Hannah, & I look forward to next Friday's vlog!
Great vlog Hannah, very nice area of London!! for shopping!! totally agree with you Hampstead is place to liv!! keep up your vlogs you are doing a fantastic job 👏🙂💯
Fun to see see the broad variety of higher end architecture of Knightsbridge. I'm sad to hear much of small retail, bricks and mortar business is being swallowed up online. At some point might we be revisiting Hampstead? How is Nat's foot? Looks like autumn is on it's way.☔It's cooling down in my neck of the woods. Have another good week, dear Hannah!❤
Your vlogs always give me a chance to forget about stressing things, your beautiful accent and your warm personality are really soothing and calming. Hope I can visit London soon again! Greetings from Italy Hannah-
I stayed at The Rembrandt the last two times I was in London, right down the road from Harrods and , your right, the architecture is fantastic in the area.
That was so good. I have just returned to Australia from a trip to England but wasn’t able to get to London. This shows an area I wouldn’t have thought of going to. More please.
I think your videos are beautiful, brilliant, and so informative. I live in the USA and I wish I could visit London! It’s been on my bucket lists for ever! Peace and love
Oh my goodness! As an American I thought the cookie weighed 25 pounds, which is outrageous. But costing 25 pounds is equally outrageous! Love your vlogs!!❤
I nearly fell off my chair when I realised a biscuit/cookie costs AUD $50.00. Way too rich for my budget...
$50 aussie!!!! Gosh you would have to eat it very slowly and savor every bite!!!!
No Pounds £ is our currency 😂
The £25.00 cookie is Non-GMO and not from Wal-Mart. Also, it’s VAT inclusive and tipping is not expected. 🍪
You're not very wrong. That cookie probably weighs £25😂. It's interesting to see how many businesses in London have positioned themselves to separate the rich from their money

It was my favourite!

We simply love your commentary 🤣🤣. This walk brought back so many memories of regularly visiting those back streets in the Eighties. Thank you for the weekly entertainment - please keep up the excellent work 👏👏
Those prices are jaw dropping and to most people, a “bucket list” experience. A great end to my working week every Friday ❤
Thank you again Hannah🌺.

Lots of tube stations have these oxblood tiles, the architect was Leslie Green. That penthouse at One Hyde Park was £175M.
Great vlog Hannah but then again aren't they all! Thank you very much. ❤❤

Hello Hannah another great vlog. Knightsbridge is incredible, the architecture is off the charts and the prices are too. 😂
Thanks! Your information makes the street walk more interesting.
When you said "Oh God that building is awful..." when heading into the residential area, I completely lost it. Your honest reaction was hilarious.
I think your videos are beautiful, brilliant, and so informative. I live in the USA and I wish I could visit London! It’s been on my bucket lists for ever! Peace and love
Good evening Hannah another lovely video and well edited THANKYOU 👍👍👍
