QUESTION... Which comes first, the chicken or the egg? As in do you make your samples to fit a track you have in mind? Or do you make samples and think PHWORRR yeah I need to make a track around this sample/sound?

Dit is echt tering vet om te zien. Hierdoor ga je de muziek anders beleven en met meer aandacht voor de gedetaiileerde soundeffects. Dit ga ik gebruiken als ik mensen wil uitleggen dat hardstyle meer is dan ‘boem boem boem muziek’. It’s more than just a kick 🥁🎻🎺

How in the world do you make the tails of your kicks sound so far away and so in your face at the same time??? Sounds like a deep rumble from an earthquake, but it also hits you in the face like a brick! How?! I guess I want to know how you place your kicks in the mix... Great content btw!
I guess the answer is the bass.
I think he doubles them, puts them on different channels and processes them differently.
@@TraxtasyMedia I would assume so too. Don’t really get my tails as dense as his. If I manage to get the tails to sound right, they take up too much space ind my mixes…

When RADICAL ASMR?
Really funny, I once hit a glass bowl with a spoon and recorded it, so I had a bell at the end. Or one day I tinged my coffee mug with a spoon and recorded that. So yeah, go creative and mess around with things you got around yourself.
Funfact: deadmau5 even recorded some slaps on his ass and layered them to create clean claps.

i have the original, i can see how each sound was made, it was on a maschine using maschine sounds, no synths no fake stuff like what he is explaining, as you can see he uses samples and chops up tracks, the original wasn't, no more than 5 sounds actually.
