As this is a first test episode, I would really like to know what you would like to see in the future.
I am doing this to give you an insight, but also to (hopefully) teach you something.
So let me know, live recording, plug-ins used, creating a story, using samples, etc?
I'll try to explain those things you want, by using the projects of my newest (unreleased) tracks.
I really want to keep these episodes short (under 5 minutes) and to the point. Accessible for everyone.
I will probably not be focussing on how to make a kick etcetera, there already are 1000 tutorials available for that.
I'd rather show you guys stuff that you haven't seen before!
So please let me know!
Thanks,
Joey
Nice se
If speaking of Brutal 9.0 (not only of this tbh), but how and which libraries you used for orchestral part, because it is so epic
The creation of the voices for the tracks
Welke plugins je gebruikt lijkt me heel interessant
The creation of your Kicks would be really interesting
The first episode of my new series 'Behind the Track', I am so excited for this!
In this video series, I will let you get a closer look to signature parts of my newest tunes.
We start the first episode with the drums I created for Brutal 9.0.
Enjoy & let me know what you think!
Joey

Wow, thank you very much for that, Joey. I can't wait to see it. I think it's really cool to see how your real pro producer does your job ;) Best grtzzz
Next episode how made kick 😈👌
Grande Radical !!🔥
Great episode, too short for me, but I think that a concept like this is very useful and beautiful to see. Go Radical!
Go Radical 💪
Yeah man!!
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE NEXT? 👇🏽
Hi cutie
more kicks like the ones used in omnia of kicks and brutal 8
Lead Synths of Man Of The Hour!!
Nikki Milou Collab or Nocturnolz 2.0
It’s nice to see that there are hardstyle artists out there willing to add real life instruments in their tracks, straight up bravo 👏!
imho Hardstyle rarely has to deal with real recorded instruments and to me (even tho the genre is in comparison pretty young to other EDM genres, the spot, where people use real instruments) is just a tiny gap in the narrow, don't get me wrong on this, but I guess, there are so many good songs, that may also be a good base for a suitable cover in different genres. Hardstyle is one of the genres that lacks in its own narrow and rarely comes up with new inspirations. Over the last past years the producers mostly focused on the kickwar, so who has the hardest kick in the scene and that bored me really off and made me seek some other genres and artists to refresh my mind and recieve new threats n treats that want to be discovered. I also produce music and I think, implementing an orchestra inside a song isn't a new invention, also the fact, that real recordings are used and processed and I think, this song may be a well foundation to producers that want to give their style signature, but signature is something you can rarely achieve in a filled narrow. I commit, that I listened really much to deadmau5 during the last one and a half year (the EDM DJ that beefed with Wildstylez, for those who remember). When I have to break down an artist there are three things I check, before I get into them: - indiviual sounddesign/writing, - progress (the bio of this artist, genres, samples #deadmau5assclap) and the style of writing melodies: variation in VSTs or instruments. So to conclude this comment: if you want to do music, try everthing, even recording hitting a bottle with a pencil and mess around, with it in your DAW, you'll be impressed, what you can create, when experimenting. =D cheers
@@TraxtasyMedia straight up 🔥
@@TraxtasyMedia interesting point 👌

@@bruhhhhhhh2862 yee 😂
really dope concept! please more of this, great to see you're recording your own sounds and process those.
Wow bro I've been listening to your music since high school bro and have never seen you in the studio up close like this. This is awesome man please make more of these - your biggest fan across the pond #southfloridavibez
I think for a future episode, it would be interesting to focus on the little details/background elements/earcandy that could easily go unnoticed when casual listening. You have a very distinct signature-sound and I personally think this is what you should capitalize on instead of which plugins you use or whatever
Crazy how I went from not listening to hardsyle/rawstyle before to now practically listening to it daily, and it all started from listening to testarossa and america. Your music made me fall in love with the genre and I will continue to look forward to your future releases since I have so far enjoyed every other past releases! Continue to produce bangers like you always have!
And also a side note, loved the new series you just started up, definitely creates a hype build up to your brutal 9.0 release soon and it also shows us a bit of insight into how certain sounds are produced and enhanced in the actual tracks! Looking forward to more episodes in the future :)
Maybe in another video or this one, can you talk about your mindset behind the radical or the Joey as an artist. Basically how you achieve your goals
Always good to see real recorded instruments in such "digital" compositions! Good job man! Definitely want to see more !
Holy crap, imagine Radical Redemption under different name, composing epic music
Well, i didnt expect it to be this short, but yes, a little insight is still better
This is a first test episode, to see what you guys think! But also to ask you what you would want to see in the future!
Main goal is to keep the episodes under 5 minutes, accessible for everyone.
@@RadicalRedemption the under 5 mins idea is good, crisp and simple. In the future, I think you could include a little mini backstory of what your intention was behind the track, and possibly one unique thing that is signature to the track. The idea is nice, pretty cool.
Not just Radical, also inspiring and educational 💪🎵🎶💪
This was so awesome!!!!
We need more of this 🔥🔥
Suck a great idea Joey! For next episodes try to make screeching tutorial or maybe vocal processing, even better if you make a behind the track from your new D-Sturb collab. 🔥
Awesome video, Great to see artist still produce music by themselves not many left thesedays. I would like to see some mastering tips. Keep up the good work 😎👊
How awesome - LOVE the insight, thanks! Keep on going you absolute LEGEND 🔥
GOAT
Thanks for this insight man
I love you Radical Redemption ♫

This makes me wanna play on my drumkit again. So inspiring!
very cool,
looking forward to more eps :)
Nice! Ready for the 9! 🔥🔥
great drums
heel dope gedaan ouwe
Keep this shit up bro!💪🏻❤️💋
X
cant unsee and unhear it now xD
I love when producers make this content!! Please continue it 😁
Just WOOOW!!!
It would be cool if you show the drum programming and explain it in detail, would be sick and sooo invalueable :D

Será que supera 6.0??? rsrs (🇧🇷)
We want to know the voice behind "brutal" !!!
Nice, but expected to see which plugins etc where used.
As this is the first episode, I would be really happy if you guys could let me know what you would like to see in the future. Plug-ins used, live recording, microphone set-up, writing process, etcetera. Just let me know! I'll try to answer as many questions as possible in the coming episodes, by diving into the projects of my newest tracks!
@@RadicalRedemption I would like to see omething like > 1. Layering (how to/how to choose). I see the intro of this song already got 19 tracks (as far as the screen goes). 2) plugins used and how to use them / where to look for when tweaking. 3. i see you use Cubase > can you give tips on how you plug-in real guitars (or other instruments) and what changed you have to make in Cubase to load it in? 4. If possible a complete walkthrough of one song to see how you work with risers etc, earcandy, automation. Thanks already
@@RadicalRedemption I would love to see Mixdown tips, Melody layering, and Kicks from scratch (909 Kick into Final kick)
Final track 😱 wtf
Chronicles of chaos stream vond ik dik enzo. Brutal 9.0 weer iets minder
dat kan langerrrrrrrrr
uhu
Show us your hakkuh
to be honest, the kick is too generic for a "brutal" kick
useless, the more bruyasl you release the more it becomes "Euro disney house" .. getting softer and softer every release...
