BEST Bombay Aloo | How To Make Bombay Potatoes | Potato Karahi Recipe

Bombay Potatoes or Bombay Aloo is a traditional Indian dish. Most of the bombay potato recipes include boiling the potatoes and then frying them.
This recipe is a classic comfort food and a simple dry Indian side dish made of Potatoes cooked in spices and tomatoes.

Ingredients :
18-20 baby potatoes
2 medium onion slices
3/4 cup of oil
2 tbsp of garlic minced
2 red chilli
1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
1 tsp of curry powder (heaped)
1 tsp of chilli powder (heaped)
1/2 tsp of coriander powder
1/2 tsp of cumin powder
1/4 tsp of garam masala
1 tomato cut into cubes
1 tsp of tamarind sauce or 1 tbsp of lemon juice
5-6 green chillies
A handful of chopped coriander
For frying the potatoes :
2 tbsp of mustard /cooking oil
1/2 tsp of punch puron
1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
1/4 tsp of curry powder
