Crazy question but would one of these help at all with an open cab? Is it even worth it? We snow wheel in the winter a few times and I have heated prp seats just want to try something small for a little more heat.
It probably wouldn’t do a lot with an open cab. Might pump in a little heat on slower trails. Be a good hand warmer and helps to keep the windshield from fogging over
How the noise in the cab with the full enclosure using this mod? I tried to remove my turbo shield and it was WAY too loud with the shield completely removed
Fan mod added a little noise but even before the fan install it was extremely loud in the cab with the enclosure on. Not bad at all in the trails but cruising 50+ it’s loud

Might want to wrap the boot with some foil tape. That plumbing boot isn't designed for heat. Just a suggestion but great video 👍👍

The problem I’m having is it’s sucking in fumes. Bad. Did this fix it? Did you have the same problem before this?
It helped with the heat a lot and cut fumes some. My plan was to build a box loosely around the turbo but I sold the machine.

Have already sold this machine. It worked good for the one season i used it.

I'm confused, are you trying to draw warm air into the cab from turbo heat? If so, why did you have the tape blocking the fan originally?
The fan was pulling cool air below the turbo. Blocked part of it until I could pull heat straight from the turbo.

I think they are dmc brand. Not 100% sure tho. I got them second hand. They do ok. Not great tho.

My buddy made the fan setup. I just added to the back of it. All the fan stuff came from eBay. 7” fan with a speed controller and on/off switch

I know this is off topic, but how do you keep your garage warm? Couldn't help but notice your garage door looked to be glowing.
Right now I have a propane heater. The door was painted red on the outside by the previous owner and looks like that in the sun
@@WvTrailN cheap Chinese diesel heater WV. They work wonders in my garage. 18 hours of real heat per 1 gallon of diesel for 115.00 complete.
Has that rubber been melting or deforming any on longer rides?
I have put about 50 miles on it so far and it’s holding good. I don’t think the rubber is close enough to cause any problems.
