Thanks for tip , I pulled the cover off the other day to get a lil heat out , and I’m going to order side zipper windows , I think this will work good enough , but will look now for seat heaters as well
If you haven’t yet the full enclosure and they sell a aftermarket roof mount ac heat unit it’s cold and hot air this with your fan will be just as warm as a car
That is very cool, I mean hot, but you could’ve mounted it inside in that same direction, no? Not bad the way you have it, just wondering. I live in Ny and ride in PA and it’s cold so that looks real good.
You technically can't hook it up backwards. The fan rotates in either direction, depending on how you have it wired (polarity). I believe I mentioned that in the video.
It definitely works better on my buddy's X3 since he has the full enclosure like you but it's better than nothing. I can warm my hands up with it lol. The seat heaters keep me warm enough.
@@AssaultOffroad if I could do it again I would keep a open cab and just run the first gear heats stuff and a closed face helmet. I think you would stay perfect in that stuff. Check it out. ruclips.net/video/AVF-CnuYv7U/видео.html
It's definitely a little bit louder, but not too bad. Some of my buddies just remove the center panel to get heat off of the Turbo. That's pretty loud.
Thanks for your abundant concern! We went on dozens of trips with that heater installed. No issues. Tons of other people have them installed as well if you scour the internet. We no longer have that machine. We survived! 😆👍
All good until you go through water and the steam and condensation come off the engine into your cab
Would allow for more engine noise into the cab, not sure I'm a fan of that

Glad I could help
Can you reverse the motor to help cool the engine as well as the cab in the summer?
That looks like a very nice👌 setup. One concern i would have is if there were any exhaust leaks/fumes getting sucked into the cab.
I should be ok as long as I don't have upper doors installed. Guess I'll know if I start passing out lol.
Yeah lol you yard
Thank for the vid!!!!! Just ordered the fan!!!!
Is that safe? Burns and smells will enter the cabin. It is cheaper to use in-stall electric heaters, which you could power with power banks.
Out here in Phx AZ everyone talks about how to get heat out of their X3’s! LOL
🤣
Reverse the fan?
I like the thought behind it, but what happens when you hit water or snow and you get a lot of steam off of a hot motor?
Then voila it doubles as a sauna

Where did you get those zip tie things. And what are they called
Hopefully no one with long hair rides with u😂

Thanks! You could mount it from the inside but there's nothing covering the fan blades on the other side.
What about water?mud?snow? Ip rating
Curious how this worked with no upper doors?
Not great. I bought some cheap Kemimoto upper doors, night and day difference.
I have the same bike.. putting upper doors and heater as well as seat heater soon nice video man

Awesome idea!
Great idea
Did I miss the links for parts?
They're in the description section under the video
I see the link for the speed control but not the fan. Do you have that? If not can you tell me what size the fan is and how many CFM?
Looks like it's out of stock but at least you can see what size it is.

Where do u get these at ?
On Amazon. If you look in the video description, there are links to everything. 👍
I looked on your channel for a video on the heated seats but didn't see it, do you have any links for those
I didn't end up posting the heated seat install video because the audio was unusable.
@@AssaultOffroad Do a voice over:)
do you notice much additional engine noise inside cab since the fan installation?
Yes. You can definitely hear a little more engine noise.
The link for the seat heaters isn't working. Do you have any other links
Or the name of the seat heaters
These are basically the same as the heaters I installed.

I like those zip ties where you get?
They came with the fan
I can’t find link to controller could you send to me?

Does this help with the Fogg on the windshield
Not much. The tablet holder blocks most of the air from the fan.
So basically you had it backwards first time lmao

That can’t work for shit but for 30.00 might as well try it.

I didn't even know gear like that existed. Pretty sweet. I might have to try that out. Not sure if I'd need the heated socks though lol.
Must be loud

Noisy fan and engine noise would be terrible!
We ride around with helmets on. We could barely hear it. 👌
@@AssaultOffroad No worries about pumping CO into the cab?
@AA-mk4pu, not really. There's so many gaps and holes in the cab that it would be hard for CO to build up enough to be dangerous.
@@AssaultOffroad I hope so for your sake
