A lot was happening for Mick Fleetwood in 1994. A new version of Fleetwood Mac- including Bekka Bramlett on vocals and Dave Mason on guitar- was recording and going out on the road. Fleetwood was also opening a "supper club".
Fleetwood was also coming to a small club in my town with another band project he was working on, Mick Fleetwood's Blue Whale, featuring guitarist Ron Thompson.
During my 40 mintute interview with Fleetwood, we talked about all the record and band stuff and perhaps that would be the better material to include here, but I opted for Fleetwood's take on going clean and sober.
He even says it- he didn't mind telling people about it because maybe they need to do something similar. Of all we talked about, including choice stuff Fleetwood Mac fans might find interesting, Fleetwood was at his most honest and passionate when he was talking about sobriety.
