Do you fancy the challenge presented by this kit, or does it look like too much of a handful? Let me know your thoughts below...

I love a complex build, it's the painting and weathering that I'm slow on, thank you for this look into another great kit from ICM. Much appreciated.

I find I rarely follow the instructions like you say: Combining the major sub-assemblies prior to adding all the exterior detail

I've got to admit,... Very interesting. End results looks good. And by my brother's preference, "Factory Fresh."

Great video, that looks like a very decent it indeed. Just popped in to say I hope there's no hard feelings for me dropping support since I quit modelling but thank you so very much for all the help and advice for gave me over the last few months. all the best Alex, take care.

Hi Alex. Awesome video build. I would say this is one of my favourite builds of yours, as it shows a lot about yourself as a modeller. You showed a lot of skill and patience as a modeller, which I liked and you gave us a great insight into this amazing looking kit. I did however say to myself during your build that I would of painted that section separate or that section separate or left that part to paint later and so on, like a back seat modeller I am (haha). I would really like to see a paint video of this build, as it really intrigues me how you intend painting this vehicle. Hopefully you will upload a follow up video to this build on how you painted it as It would be an awesome vlog, especially if you intend using outlaw paints which ive just started acquiring to my paint collection. Thanks for a great video build and hats off to you for keeping a level head dealing with a lot of very tiny fiddly parts.

Thank you, and yes - there will absolutely be a follow-up painting video of the kit!

I've built a lot of ICM kits recently, they come out very detailed without going over the top with unnecessary PE. I'd say they are probalby the optimum if you also factor in pricing. That said the only thing I miss is PE for the radiator screens in many models (not this one of course) I've got the earlier KFZ 70 with th etwin MGs in the stash. I like my Horch KFZ 70's having built several from Tamiya including a kit-bash conversion with the 2 cm Flak in the late 1980's.

As an aside, referring recent videos on Airfix, I would have gotten their Austin Ambulance if it had a PE radiator screen. So i got the Gecko which also had the late Queen included. Airfix missed the boat on that... :-(

The picture of Rommel's ePKW you show at the end of your Report is quite a different model, based on the Kfz 15... Other than that, an excellent review. Detailwise, it is a bit chunky, especially the slats and slots on the bonnet top and sides. The front mudguards however are wrong and out of shape. It almost seems the front axle shoud be 2 to 3mm more forward. I dug around in my 150 plus Kfz 69 & Kfz 70 pictures database to check on this and to me the model (while nicely detailed) just looks a bit odd in the front. But given that the model has a good an fair price here in Germany, I will possibly take a closer look on it. Good work!

Note: those funny "rear view mirrors" aren't that. They are the manual turn indicator hands which fold out. The left has the rear view mirror attached, while the right has a searchlight.

TY Alex.. I love the, albeit, dry humour, taking out the obvious frustration 😁... Is one of the colour schemes DAK or eastern front? I get the WH field grey...
