I’m cheesed that I don’t love anywhere near dumpling monster because I would fuck up some dumplings
so I got these two ideas that I want to share:
1) for Keith: eat everything at IKEA .

fun fact - the reason traditional jiaozi (饺子）dumplings are shaped like and ear is because a legend states a doctor in China cooked dumplings to help promote blood flow and thaw cold ears, and shaped them to look like little ears. Although people now call dumplings jiaozi', they were originally named 'jiao er’ for its shape of “tender ears”.

This dumpling episode seems to be the only one so far where Keith doesn’t suffer an intense food coma, he finished pretty strong on this one!
I think it was due to dumplings being bite size. Hence Keith can do this one without actually getting overwhelmed.

He did well with Panda Express and Nando's. It's the American fast food that takes him out 😂
I think it's also the lower percent of puffy, bread and animal fat for frying. The noodles and dumpling dough are dense and therefore less filling even if there's probably the same amount of carbs. Some of the noodles and dumplings are boiled and not fried, taking down the potential fat.
@@enkays_den Agree except for the noodles. At least where I am, noodles are known to expand in the stomach, making you feel fuller

@@kaamgirl101 usually chopsticks or by using a spoon! mainly because the soup in the dumplings is SCALDINGLY HOT so holding them in your hands are usually off limits unless you have no pain receptors :)

Didn't know this, but it's cool, and even without knowing this, I love trying to maintain a long noodle. One of my old favorite pho places had only one dish I liked with everything in it, crab, fish, shrimp, bbq pork, chicken and all the scallops and cilantro and I'd order it every time, but I almost choked on the noodles trying to reach the ends in one go they were so long.

We literally biologically formed eating meat for thousands and thousands of years... now you just want to disrupt the natural order for what?
You should educate yourself... Not with a google search. But listen to podcasts with harvard and yale professors that have been studying this for 30 years.. None of them will say eating meat is worse for his liver or kidney than eating way too many vegetables.

Reminds me of camp, we had a regional camp (scouts) which was a competition between about 50 4-8 person teams (kids between 10 and 15). Everybody wanted to be last. Being last was more of an accomplishment than being first. Our camp leaders always told us to either do our best to be in the top 10 or be last. Fun times (this is about 8 years ago now). The top 4 could go to the national camp, which was way less fun (been 3 times, because we were try hards). Sorry for reminiscing under your comment. Not a native English speaker so idk if my scouts experience translates well to English audiences

I was in the beginning while Keith was eating fried rice, paused the video and went to do something, and ended up making fried rice. I will now enjoy my fried rice while watching Keith eat.

I think it’s good for practice! Though I agree you should just eat rice with a spoon, I think for other Asian dishes it’s fine to struggle a bit if you like to learn how to use them 😄

As a Marylander, I think that we have so many good seafood restaurants to try. It’s always so fresh and good, and I personally recommend Gibby’s Seafood in Baltimore County
