I just bought one of these kits and thought about doing this for the future. Thanks for making this video I look forward to seeing more of these in the future.
@@christopherestevez4857 Dividing the 40 pint kit into 4, produced a beer that was lacking in flavour. Probably best to split it into 3 for brewing in your Pinter 👍
@PinterBeerChef a space hopper! I plan to try other kits too. I wanna try dry hopping like they did on the Malt Miller channel. Have you considered that?
@@steffenoh Yes, you’ll see dry hopping in quite a few of my videos. Most of the all-grain brews are dry hopped although I tend to use small hop bags rather than adding to the Pinter loose.
@@steffenoh If you add the hops loose, they’ll end up in the dock and be discarded after brewing is complete. If you bag them, they’ll remain in contact for the whole duration of brewing, conditioning and tapping. So, it all depends what you’re trying to achieve. I’d encourage you to experiment with different ideas. 👍
Hi I've been making spirits for the last 18 months and wanted to have a go at making beer so I purchased a pinter 3 I came across your videos which I find interesting and very informative that helps beginners like myself so thank you for taking the time to make these videos 👍
@@johnnybarnes4229 Heating the liquid malt and water provides a more thorough mixing. You can add direct to Pinter and shake instead if you prefer, but you may find it very difficult to mix properly. The extract kits are a lot thicker than a Pinter fresh press.

@@PinterBeerChef yeah true. I was thinking to put it straight in the pinter

@@davidtowers3731 No worries, glad you find them helpful 👍
Chef, thank you for making these videos! Is it really necessary to heat everything up? Why doesn’t Pinter have us heat everything up to kill bacteria?
