- The "Vampire of Britannia" Lucius Bradley and Kallen face one on one in a short little duel. One of my favorite moments. This is Code Geass R2.
Update - I no longer have an appreciation for watching anime as I used to back then. Sorry to disappoint but I will not be watching Season 3 of this series.

I like Lucius's voice in the english dub, in fact all the voices in Geass are pretty unique.
Luciano's VA is the same as Edward Elric's

I don't know why, but this just reminded me of the SAO Abridged dialogue where the goon goes: "Boss, a thought occurs. This guy thought he was up against laughing coffin and he was still by himself and a small child. Are you sure you want to mess with this guy?". That episode Rosalia slaughters Kirito with that line: "Enjoy it while it lasts, its the deepest you'll ever be in a woman".
He was so proud to get in close to a mech that has the signature ability to disintegrate anything it gets a good grip on

Kallen is unbelievably strong and I love her
Best girl for a good reason
Kallen is the best character in Code Geass I think, she’s awesome, she fights for all of the right reasons, she’s the absolute best pilot, and she is the queen of the battlefield. It’s satisfying to see her kill all of the disgusting characters, like the Vampire of Britannia, she really made Lelouch’s catchphrase come true “The only ones who should kill, are those prepared to be killed” and he wasn’t
so strong that she was even able to defeats Plot Armor on her's last battle against Suzaku.
@@adri2shadow The plot armor was that he couldn't die, so someone trying to kill him can't win, but maybe someone that just needs to defeat him can as the geass has no reason to activate.
@@TheTimster02 its not only the survive geass dude, suzaku can literally dodge bullets, and from machinguns not not only pistols, he can defeat any enemy on a hand to hand combat using his spining kick.

Man even Jeremiah, when the gurren had literally never been seen before, figured out getting close to the thing with the massive claw hand was not a good idea.
Ol orange boy was the first option to pilot the Lancelot, until Suzaku proved his skills in it. Jerry is clearly a quite skilled pilot, he just had the inferior KMF during his fight with Kallen.
Yeah Luciano outranks Jeremiah but not sure if that translates to more skilled given Britannia's classist society.

Nuh-uh. Kallen has spent most of her life piloting Knightmares, since they started manufacturing them, even before she obtained the Guren. Suzaku, in contrast, never piloted a real Knightmare outside of simulations and never piloted a true KMF until the Lancelot. Moreso, the power difference between the Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. and the Lancelot Albion is very slim, as both are _9th_ Generation Knightmares, and Suzaku admits to not being able to beat Kallen.
Moreso, in situations where Suzaku had Kallen beat, his Knightmare always had a far superior upgrade. In Guren MKII vs. Lancelot Air Cavalry (in the Season 1 Finale), Kallen is barely able to keep up with him and even destroys the Lancelot's arm at the cost of her own (because it gets shot off). In contrast, when Suzaku is pitted against a substantial upgrade for the Guren, he gets demolished; remember how the Lancelot Conquista was getting absolutely thrashed by the Guren S.E.I.T.E.N.? When Kallen had the disadvantage upgrade-wise, she kept fighting and scored damage. When Suzaku had the disadvantage, he got _raped._

In the second the differnce the conquista allow suzaku to flight it was only a little advantage.
In their 3rd fight the gurren upgrade was huge because not only she could send energy wave at long range but the power of the arm got a huge buff.
When suzaku fought the Guren SEITEN the first time he himself said that the difference in unit performance were too Huge, so the SEITEN was leagues above the Conquista.
In their last fight the Albion was able to make a match with the SEITEN even thought the Albion was only a 9th generation and the SEITEN a 10th generation ( result of the fusion between britanian and japanese tech )
And I this the gurren right arm always give him an advantage over the lancelot because the lancelot wast time taking his weapons, aiming perfectly then fire up. The guren never got this handicap
Does that really determine anything? What, do you expect Kallen to pilot an exact replica of what Suzaku has? Also, the record should state the facts...
In their first fight, Kallen took Suzaku's landspinners and one of his Maser Vibration Swords, and was winning until bad positioning led to her falling off a cliff. The Guren lost no parts off of it, and its claw arm only suffered damage that made it temporarily inoperable.
Secondly, their fight at the end of Season 1, despite the obvious advantage, Kallen still takes the Lancelot's arm off (even though she loses her own). Despite the fact that Suzaku could totally outmaneuver her, she was still keeping up with him. Had Kallen grabbed his rifle arm, it would've been game over for Suzaku.
Third, the fight between base Guren and the Lancelot Conquista isn't a fair comparison, as Kallen was dealing with an inferior machine against not just Suzaku, but Gino and Anya as well. Three machines with superior specs, and the Conquista was loaded out with its Hadron Cannon. The Guren had no such advantage, and again, there were two other 7th Gens against her _one._
Fourth, when she gets the Flight-Enabled Type, she is now on par with the Conquista, yet she one-shots the Glaston Knights (including Guilford), fries the Tristan and Mordred's systems so they can't fight, and starts bearing down on Suzaku immediately. The Flight-Enabled Type was an equalizer, and Kallen simply proved how good she was at rebounding under dire stress. Also note that she'd never _flown_ a Knightmare before, unlike the numerous Britannian pilots that she immediately kicks the asses of. Hell, in the Chinese Federation, she might've beaten Xingke and the Shen-Hu if her power hadn't run out. Kallen even has a far bigger list of people she's beaten. Jeremiah, Kewell, four of the Darlton siblings (personally killing Alfred in a one-on-one), Guilford, Luciano, the Valkyries... she's far deadlier than Suzaku, who only killed Dorothea and Monica because he ambushed them without a fight.
Fifth, that's the point. If Suzaku was as great an ace pilot as you say, he would've been able to try and formulate a plan to keep up. Kallen can keep up with him whenever he gets a buff (unless he has backup), but when Suzaku has the inferior machine, he gets busted up. The Conquista was in half before he fired the F.L.E.I.J.A. weapon.
Lastly, there is no 10th Gen in the TV Series. Stop making crap up. The Guren Eight Elements was the prototype for the 9th Generation of Knightmare Frames, expanding on the existing Guren Flight-Enabled Type. The Lancelot Albion is also 9th Gen, but the difference in power between the two is very minimal, implying that if the Albion was on par with the Eight Elements, Suzaku would still struggle. He even admits to Kallen being an utterly exceptional pilot.

Kallen is a vicious queen. She basically cooks your ride with you inside. Fucking brutal.

If I remember correctly he appeared in only 2 episodes.
Don't forget that he also appears in episode 2 of this season during Zero's return when the video jumps over to the Knights of the Round gathered together. Bradley is there, but he has no dialogue like most of the other knights at the time.

She’s a much better pilot than he is though, regardless of the S.E.I.T.E.N’s specs. Kallen and Suzaku (and maybe Bismarck) are the best pilots in the show.
At least we got a show of his skill before Kallen put him in his place, so Kallen outdoing Luciano was done in good taste.
Then you have Dorothea Ernst and Monica Krushevsky, who didn't even get to fight Suzaku.
Still the worst scene in the show where Suzaku makes the Knights of the Round -- who were built up as unstoppable elite Knightmare pilots -- look completely stupid... it's just... ugh.
I would've liked more of the KOTR than just Suzaku, Gino and Anya.

If only she hadn't turned on Lelouch too. Although she was the only Black Knight who realised what he was doing by the end.

Well Lelouch manipulated Kallen to turn on him for her own safety.
She is only Black Knight that can't be faulted for turning against Lelouch. Her first reaction was wanting to hear his sid of the story and Lelouch deliberetly shown himself in worst posible light tpo push her way to save her.

When I was annoyed by Suzaku and I was so excited when Bradley appeared. Even though he is a sadist.
I felt sad that Kallen finished him. Wish he could join Lelouch.

Usually they are a bit one-sided depending on what they are showing off, but this is the Guren S.E.I.T.A.N.’s first launch.
You’re saying that Guren S.E.I.T.A.N. vs Lancelot Albion was lame? Or the U.F.N. vs Britannia War in Japan as a whole?
There are too many epic moments in Lelouch. This one is not one of them.
