Thank you for this timeless memorial. I just stumbled across it tonight, thinking about Taylor. I'd hoped for a few highlight videos from this night. But this...this... No words.
Just watched the “Rush’s Last Hurrah: Time Stand Still” on YT which features footage of Rush’s final show at the Forum 8-1-15. In addition to Taylor, this is also a great tribute to Neil Peart at the Forum 9-27-22 seven years after Rush’s last show there. Neil passed on 1-7-20.
I scored four tickets to the Hawkins tribute for my birthday. This was an unforgettable experience and it was so surreal watching my heroes jam on one stage for Taylor❤️❤️
Let me just say Joshua Homme brought me to tears singing Long Slow Goodbye. I think I only sat down twice that night. It was such a special night, so thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting us re-live it!
I genuinely think Rufus Taylor is an incredible human. Not just a fantastic drummer, but what a guy. These shows meant so much to him. I think he gets quite emotional near the end of Best Of You, but he gets through it. That's the kinda guy he is. Taylor Hawkins was his Godfather, his mentor and close friend. For him to play through an emotionally charged song like that and do so flawlessly is incredible and a mark of the man. I'm a huge Darkness fan, so I'm really happy he is staying there, hes brought a brand new level to those guys as well. He just makes bands better! So, on this fantastic tribute to a hero like Taylor Hawkins, I just wanted to give it up for another one, Rufus Tiger Taylor. You wonderful, wonderful human. 🐅❤🔥🐯
Wanna give a mssive shoutout to Rufus Taylor for his Best of You performance. Absolutely kills the instrumental section and breaks down in tears after. That's called leaving it all on the field. Cheers to that

I was lucky enough to go to the Wembley tribute, and I've just watched this show in full for the first time, on the anniversary of Taylor's death. Thank you so much for compiling this.
This is so cool of you to share this. When we didn't have a way to see this and scrambled to so many different platforms to get a glimpse. Most of us saw the highlighted videos, yet not the entire show, like the UK one. Thank you again! 💙
Thanks Kid! You really knocked this outta the park! I drift in & outa music. As I'm lost in A.I. & wanted to review Josh Freese and how this has progressed... Many many thanks! killer concert worth having in the background. Taylor was my fav live drummer... What a loss! Listened to this live somewhere. Thank you again for putting this together, and for the BLESSING of not allowing any ads in the video, just as it should. I cried my ass off like 4 times. I appreciate all your hard work ❤
Fantastic job! I have listened to the r/foofighters upload MULTIPLE times. Now having visuals makes it even more special. Thank you for all.your hard work!!!
Thank you for this video. I know how much work it takes to upload one concert video (from my phone) to RUclips. I can’t imagine how long this took you to do. I’ve been waiting all day for someone to show up and fix something, and have had this playing on my tv. Your time stamps have helped a lot, for parts I’ve missed. Thank you so much. \m/ You rock. ETA: subscribed :)
Thank you for putting this concert out for us too enjoy this is the first time I’ve seen it I could only get the one in England I even subscribed to paramount so I could watch anytime I wanted to so I’m really excited to watch this such awesome talent in one place for Taylor he has so many talented musicians as his friends I’m going to see the Foo Fighters in July and I can’t wait but I wish I could have seen them with Taylor behind the kit just goes to show we never know when our last day is coming so do everything you can before that happens and love the people that make a difference in your life ❤
They should of gotten Dave L Roth do do the vocals on W-evh set As i'm listening there's a few times sounds like someone put there finger on the record sound. his left hand sometimes doesn't match the sound tone chord, plays before hand placed. just a notice seen
Thank you! The entire concert broke my heart. But Sound Garden got me most. 2 icons down. The thing that really got me is that you can see how he inspired the next generation. Kids want to play like him. There are kids all over RUclips and other places that want to be drummers now
I would love to see some backstage green room footage of all these awesome rock stars hanging out and interacting with each other. Man, to be a fly on that wall! Awesome!
Thank you so much for doing this. There were many times where I wanted to tackle this project myself because the setlist is out there so we know the correct order of everything and with RUclips there were enough cell phone captured videos but the question is which versions are the best angles, best audio, etc. Because of the large daunting task of how much time and filtering of bad videos from good video versions of each individual song would have to be considered, I never put it together yet but it's something I almost started several times. This took a lot of work and it is very greatly appreciated. Thank you. The most frustrating thing is I have seen very clear professionally done video clips of specific moments from the concert that are out there so I know there is a clean professional version that looks like TV quality that is out there. Foo fighters probably had a team shoot the whole thing etc but they won't release it anywhere still so we are unable to find it. Hopefully one day that high quality professionally shot version will get released but until then all we have are cell phone captures. Thanks for the work. This will be enjoyed by a lot of people and at the moment it's the best we have.
i did worsen the quality by not exporting at a very good bitrate [i think i exported at 12mbps?]. i *would* re-export this at a higher quality, but my internet stinks at uploading thanks!
@@progdotgay depending what codec is used that should be plenty good for quality. The cellphone video footage is probably not higher than that to begin with so no sense in inflating higher bitrates with lower bitrate source. Been really getting into encoding settings myself lately with x265 just because of the massive harddrive savings with file sizes. Of course not touching the audio quality though ever. With hand brake set up right to allow audio pass-through or extracting the audio completely with mkvtoolnix or gextractgui for formats Hand Brake struggles with like PCM or WMA for old files...... Well anyway I never touch the audio. Got to keep it clean. For the video if the it rate is good to start with I would compress it to x265 using CPU encoding, never GPU, it isn't as good yet. With handbrake settings set up something like Constant Quality RF 22, h.265 10-bit encoder, medium encoder speed and all the audio formats set to pass through so it doesn't mess with the source files original audio quality you should get pretty great results. Honestly I have tons of home videos and I've saved close to 2 terabytes of drive space in the last year or so by re-encoding x264 to x265 using these tricks. You probably don't want to re encode video that often as it does give slightly less quality each time but with these encoder settings I've done lots of comparisons with the trickiest of scenes and it looks damn near perfect as the original. File size result is about a quarter or a third the original. Pretty great project if you ever get the time. These tools are so tricky they take years and years to get down and even then you still never Master it. Thanks for the work that you did do on this. Foo Fighters fans everywhere are much appreciative.
@@corwinbarry5119 You sure you seeing the CORRECT concert? Did you personally watch it? As far as I've seen paramount app ONLY has the Wembley Stadium tribute concert....not the LA show. Can you confirm it is indeed the LA and NOT WEMBLEY show? You may be confused I think. Paramount offers the longer version of the Wembley show that also aired as a shorter CBS special as well. LA Tribute seems to entirely missing from public access and it may have just been professionally shot for the band/family or maybe a later anniversary release or something is planned so it's been withheld thus far. Internet footage like this seem to be the best currently available.
Roast me if need be. VH is one of my all time favorite bands. I never got to see them live, although I saw DLR and Sammy on the same tour together in the early 00s which was a goo time, but I would pay good money to see Alex VH and Michael Anthony do a tour with Wolf on guitar and Justin Hawkins singing.
Wolf can really sing. I’ve paid a ridiculously fair (low) amount to see him play at the HOB. He “Grohled” his 2021 album, Mammoth, then hired a touring band. Wolf sang and played lead guitar. I’m not dissing Justin Hawkins. He’s got a good voice, too. I think Wolf needs to keep doing what he’s been doing. That album has no skip songs. It’s pretty epic, but not surprising, considering his talent.
I went to this concert. It was the best ever! Great job on this video. It would have been better if in between sets the viewer could see what was going on instead of a black screen.
I've just watched, for like the millionth time, the video of Taylor's son playing with the foos at the wembley tribute concert, there's a bit near the end after they're finished and he walks off stage and Rufus hugs him, if you didn't know you would think it was Taylor.
No Live aid was better and one of Taylor's favourite concert too he has talked about the show too Especially the Queen performance but U2 was also amazing
4:15:50 Pink + Brian May & Roger Taylor - Somebody To Love (a rendition of George Michael's performance at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992)
Not trying to compare like that but didnt think I would see something as epic as chester Bennington's tribute show. RIP to the legends. I would kill to be in this show.
When it was Shane playing at the end and Dave and everyone was facing Shane you know that nothing in that moment mattered but Shane playing with everything he had and they were there for Shane
Alanis Morisette sounds just as good as she did back in the day! Wow! So far this is my favorite performance! Rip to the late... Great... Taylor Hawkins you will not be forgotten! Idk Taylor Momsen was a great add too!
Now I can imagine Dave Chapelle singing “Creep” on drives home from filming on Robin Hood men in tights, not knowing that he’d be singing it live before thousands.

The Dave Chappelle Creep cover is so amazing. Incredible camera angle too.
Under pressure hit Dave… that was his and Taylor’s song together. Seen them play it twice live. Always wicked.
4:42:05 - that moment when Dave forgot he had to sing cause he was too busy vibin'
Thank you! The entire concert broke my heart. But Sound Garden got me most. 2 icons down. The thing that really got me is that you can see how he inspired the next generation. Kids want to play like him. There are kids all over RUclips and other places that want to be drummers now
AMAZING!!! Thanks for sharing, I went to Wembley but really wanted to see this concert too :)
Can’t wait to watch & relive this magical night honoring an amazing musician.
I would love to see some backstage green room footage of all these awesome rock stars hanging out and interacting with each other. Man, to be a fly on that wall! Awesome!
The love the band member have each other is heartwarming to see. Fly high Hawk \m/
This will be enjoyed by a lot of people and at the moment it's the best we have.
i did worsen the quality by not exporting at a very good bitrate [i think i exported at 12mbps?]. i *would* re-export this at a higher quality, but my internet stinks at uploading
thanks!
There’s a full 5 1/2 hour cut of this on paramount plus I’m watching it right now full TV quality
?
Wolf can really sing. I’ve paid a ridiculously fair (low) amount to see him play at the HOB.
He “Grohled” his 2021 album, Mammoth, then hired a touring band. Wolf sang and played lead guitar. I’m not dissing Justin Hawkins. He’s got a good voice, too. I think Wolf needs to keep doing what he’s been doing. That album has no skip songs. It’s pretty epic, but not surprising, considering his talent.
I would dig that big time…great suggestion. Justin brings an awesome vibe and Wolfie is Eddie incarnate.
I went to this concert. It was the best ever! Great job on this video. It would have been better if in between sets the viewer could see what was going on instead of a black screen.
P!nks vocals were so good that night
Brought to you by Pfizer
I think Lzzy Hale would have done a better vocal than P!nk, but she wasn’t bad, just not my first choice after Annie.
merci !!!!!!😍
big thanks for this , you made my day
Probably the best concert I’ve ever been to
they should have recorded this and put in on dvd, what a FN shame
Pink was born for rock n roll. Those vocals❤
She is incredible
wish they would just release the pro shot footage of this show but thank you for your efforts this took a ton of work
Oh my god thank you for this edit, I can't even imagine how much time it took.
THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Level 42 part.....I was like Yasssssss! Have always loved them!!!!
Thank you for this! I was at the london tribute but was dying to check out how the LA concerts went ❤
Excellent work pal!
Couple of mine made the cut! Thanks!
GuyWhoGames, THANK YOU!!!!
Great video. I watched the entire thing!
Thank you for posting this...
Is it just me? Or does Rufus Taylor look like Taylor Hawkins beating away on those skins?
Absolutely!!
Some Taylor, some younger Roger. Perfect combination, though.
Yup
Yes he does..he made his dad proud! he's going to make his dad proud with his drumming life too. 😢
I've just watched, for like the millionth time, the video of Taylor's son playing with the foos at the wembley tribute concert, there's a bit near the end after they're finished and he walks off stage and Rufus hugs him, if you didn't know you would think it was Taylor.
Thx!!
It’s likely best concert collective ever done
No
Live aid was better and one of Taylor's favourite concert too he has talked about the show too
Especially the Queen performance but U2 was also amazing
wouldn't it be nice if Eddie at some point would be referred to as Wolfgang's father rather than the opposite, he sure got the talent
Thanks for this! 🙏
THANK YOU
4:15:50 Pink + Brian May & Roger Taylor - Somebody To Love (a rendition of George Michael's performance at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992)
If the timestamps where in the description there would be chapters ;) i enjoyed it.

Josh Freese for the win!
I love how when Shane played my hero the whole bad kept on turning around to make sure he was ok 🥹

I was very impressed with Pink……
I don’t know. Taylor you rocked!
I love seeing Pat Fan girl over Phil Collen and his guitar. Love Rufus ❤❤❤ RIP Taylor
great gbybr from crooked vultures
Not trying to compare like that but didnt think I would see something as epic as chester Bennington's tribute show. RIP to the legends. I would kill to be in this show.
Wolfgang playing for his dad and Taylor❤
Yeah, I can imagine both Eddie and and Taylor jamming with Lemmy and maybe Freddie what do you think?
YES!!!!@@jacestephenweatherall1732
Epic!
When it was Shane playing at the end and Dave and everyone was facing Shane you know that nothing in that moment mattered but Shane playing with everything he had and they were there for Shane
Why the long blackouts? The between stuff was the essence of the emotionally charged event!!!
This is insane
My dream: Rufus the new FF drummer
You're stupid dreams will destroy the darkness
Stop Dreaming please
I'm in love with Taylor Momsen
Alanis Morisette sounds just as good as she did back in the day! Wow! So far this is my favorite performance! Rip to the late... Great... Taylor Hawkins you will not be forgotten! Idk Taylor Momsen was a great add too!
Joe Walsh, 76 YEARS OLD!!!
Still ROCKIN'!!!

I never really understood what great drumming means until about 2.50 into this show....
4:24:45 brian may has a angel
voice🥺
4 guitars. I feel for the sound guy.
Now I can imagine Dave Chapelle singing “Creep” on drives home from filming on Robin Hood men in tights, not knowing that he’d be singing it live before thousands.
That's fucking hilarious
A show that has Dave Chappelle and Brian May sing... Man this is crazy
