  • These styles help you categorize how you learn and how you like to move with your ball. Find the moves that you like to play with the most and get started there. You will define your style as it goes. Ryan Mellors is very mathematical and precise with his movements, Chris Murdoch enjoys the intricacies and flows very gracefully, Dawn Marie is really into behind the back rolling and continuous movement of the ball, Jonathan Ortega uses his whole body when he dances, right down to his feet.
    When you create you style, take from all of these people and those that you see on RUclips and find what inspires your body type, agility, patience and ball type you're working with. Even find music that inspire that type of movement.
    Tell me what you think by commenting below and I will do my best to give you tips I've learned along the way.

    Hahaha I love this video cause I turned it into a guessing game. "Some people do rolling" She's gonna show a video fo Dawn...-shows a video of Dawn. "Some do Isolations" Come on Ryan!...-shows a video of Ryan- "Some do Balance" Richard?? -Shows the video of Richard and Robbert at EJC- But loved how you constructed the video showing different ways to do contact.

    I want to start contact juggling, and I was going to ask for a ball for Christmas, but I don't know what kind to get? Do I want the clear kind, the translucent colored ones, or the opaque colored ones? Also, what size is best for a beginner? 2.5 inches? 3? I'm lost! Please help me so I don't ask for the wrong kind!

      Musicfeedsyoursoul you should get the squishy coloured one. It's best for beginners. Sorry but I don't know what size. Maybe don't ask for the size. Could be 2.5...?

      Ask for a 100mm or 125mm stage ball from Mister Babache or Dubé. This is the standard size.

    Does contact juggling go well with magic?

    • @diannadavidmoves
      @diannadavidmoves  9 лет назад

      +TheMagicOfColton absolutely! It's the best example of Magic...the way you move the ball is an optical illusion.
