If this game was made for "detecting misinformation," was the whole game supposed to be misinformation? Were we just supposed to figure out it was BS?
They even banned half of the World from buying it. And rest of developing countries they charge triple of AAA price. Can you imaging charging $180-$210 for this excrement in USA?
Live service online multiplayer-only hero shooter with Marvel-esque characters, "witty" self-aware dialogue, and "preferred pronouns. Peak 'current year'. Also, a concord developer thought the way to bolter a ridiculously bad launch was to call players "talentless freaks". Perhaps he should retake business 101. Attacking and insulting your own customers is one of the weirdest modern Western trends.
Money talks in the gaming industry, our wallet dictates the outcome of game releases. We didn't ask for nor want games with forced DEI when it does not belong.
Fascinating times we are living in. Every time these sorts of scandal blew up in the past 4-5 years, information surfaces regarding these companies and how they are receiving money from the government and its employer. More and more people understand the big picture. Something will break...
There is no correcting or fixing this - right now there are 61 people on steam - that is barely enough to fill one match in each Q. Better to call middle earth and request a necromancer be sent over to raise this corpse.
In Dustborn you play as a villain who hurts and manipulates those around them, even their friends aren't safe from their toxicity. If the devs thought this was a good role model or a paragon of moral behaviour they are so far gone.
Game I know of that put player in shoes of bad person is "OverLord' but the game itself didn't take itself seriously and well.. it's fantasy.. This one.. fuuh.. it's hit way.. to close being real life.. It's a mess up game for sure.
@pc14thenumber9 Playing as the bad guy in Overlord worked, because it was completely unmistakable that you were evil. They didn't try hiding it, or make you out to be the "good guy". Sure, there were times you could do somewhat "good" things, but you still murdered and subjugated entire towns with reckless abandon. Dustborn? They're trying to make the cruel, heartless, evil, monstrous, abusive f-ckwads out to be the undeniable good guys. This would be like having the Overlord called" the good guy" while sitting on a throne made of corpses he made.
I agree on making them illegal, but these snakes would just find other ways. Already we are seeing Day 1 paywalled content and games offering various price tiers for different benefits including early access to the game..
That's silly, I hate micro transactions as much as anyone. But having the government make it illegal? The only reason they exist is because of gamers , just stop buying them. And they are, live service games are dying, single player games are making a comeback. Keep the financial pressure on, gamers have ALL the power.
micro transactions when done in moderation in free to play game are a great way to get your game in everyone's hands. What you need is for game devs to not mix both monetization setups. If micro trans were illegal we would never get your candy crushes, angry birds, fortnite, etc. Dont be a moron

To be fair, I expected more sales. There's an awful lot of normies out there. Remember that while Bud Light sales are down, they're still far from zero. They're maybe 50% of what they used to be
For a multiplayer game, the lack of online players will impact purchases even further. Even if some people like the game, they won’t want to buy it if it’s hard to find a group cause there’s only 500 people online.
To me I’m more shocked of games getting tax pays… like when did F did I agree to my money going to woke garbage games??? I don’t want my money going to that mofos!!!
Wait, their target audience didn’t show up to buy Concord? It’s almost as if said target audience either don’t have much money to spend on games or it’s just a very small market. Shocking
It is not made for people to sell. It was made for investors to spread the agenda. And their investors are literally printing money, so it was never about profit.
They're going to chase that live service audience right off the cliff. There's already more than enough games to keep everyone happy and you have to produce a good quality product if you want to steal people off of your competition.
Dustborn, that game from the first sentence felt like they took what is currently happening and thought "hey let's make a game and teach everyone how to bully other kids in school". The song made me think so fast that they are stalkers and stuff.
The real problem here is that these people still think we live in the pandemic era , so they think the game tourists and normies are still playing videogames… ahem modern audience anyone? Yes? No? Oh well, I’ll give you a tip. Gamers took back videogames. You want money? Cater to us and not them. It’s very simple.
Saw an ad for Concord before all the drama. Said to myself "What is this piece s***". Looks terrible, marketing materials terrible, gameplay terrible, characters terrible. It's a game designed for people that don't play games in first place.
I feel like Black Rock is the root of all this stuff. They're so rich that they can afford to idly watch so many games flop. They're a video game boss with 900 trillion HP, and each anti-DEI gaming movement does 10 HP DPS. As long as Black Rock can fund developers in exchange for DEI loyalty, despite how they flop, these games will continue to come out. Because Black Rock's ESG initiative promises to fund their games' development as long as they promise to adopt the progressive delusions.
You are right about them having a place in this and that is why they have lost trillions of dollars in this shows that they do not know their own customers for trying to force behaviors is very expensive and Larry Fink is finding that out.
Basic economics states money is not infinite. Also, they have lost almost several trillion, with Larry Fink having voicemails of him throwing temper tantrums for DEI being banned by some schools in the United states, AND for DEI being considered a toxic brand, with him and his cronies trying their absolute damnedest to rebrand it and keep the "message" alive. That is a telltale sign of fear and worry. They know they are in trouble, because if people won't submit now? They won't submit ever. Regardless of what Doomers tell you, money does matter, and while they care more about their "message" than money? The fact remains they DO care about their money because without it, they can't continue spreading their "message." If money didn't matter and the "message" was all they needed, they wouldn't be so desperate to change the name and rebrand in hopes to keep their plans on track. They wouldn't feel the need to shame, gaslight, attack, cancel or guilt trip people into believing what they are doing is morally justified and not just flat out disgusting authoritarian garbage. If the message was all they cared about, the pushback we are seeing from the majority of people wouldn't concern them. It does, hence the phrase, actions speak louder than words. Keep pushing back.
Her obliviousness is hilarious 😂, this is absolutely insane. The gaming community been screaming where it went wrong for long time, and yet somehow they can’t figure it out.
The irony is, any haters of Dustborn are just being Dustborn. They’re using their canceling and bullying superpowers and joined the Dustborn. That game is truly hilarious.
Wow, thank you for mentioning and sharing my video. That's really awesome of you. I hope getting through all the characters isn't too much of a nightmare. :takes a shot:.
People keep saying it should have gone free to play as if that would have changed anything. The only way this game could have been popular is if it was the first hero shooter and considered a novel concept.
"LEECH We have learned how to LEECH taxes. LEECH gives us the ability to siphon tax money away from projects that could actually benefit people and put it into our parasitic pockets."
Did Dustborn steal a great deal of its backstory from 'Brave New World'? The tabletop rpg game about superheroes in an alternate future where JFK survived his assassination attempt (but Jackie didn't) and became more or less a fascist? Even has super powers that.
1220 people on playstation have gotten the achievement "get your first takedown" Which means, only 1220 people actually bought it on PSN and 660 on steam. Not even 2000 copies were sold.
Good observation. But there are the 2 or 3 outliers that bought this game but haven't installed it yet or gifted it to people that'll likely never touch it.
Yeah, the claim that 25000 people bought it is a pretty obvious lie. If less than 10% of your claimed numbers have an achievement that you'd get literally in the first 20-30m of playing the game, that means you're either grossly overestimating your numbers, or over 90% of your playerbase dropped the game in less than a half-hour. Either one is sad.
@@wumpusrat That's why they're going to target Steam charts/numbers eventually to disable the public sourcing a counter to their narratives that their games sold higher than they claim. Look at the hoops people have to jump through just to estimate console numbers (looking at achievements). That's what they want for steam. . . the only source the public have for reliable and immediate numbers. It's just one obstacle for big returns for them so Steam numbers are a ripe vector for attack.
so basically, like with sweet baby inc, we need a site that tells us which games the government have funded, aka which games i will never entertain a thought of again

8 years of development. 16 uninteresting characters, a few stages - that's it. What did they actually do for the past 8 years cause this game ain't it?
Basically? They got paid to do minimum work each day. Or, you know, someone in charge (likely several) was pocketing the money, likely via 'business expenses'.

Those 25000 units must be the modern audience!
Money talks in the gaming industry, our wallet dictates the outcome of game releases. We didn't ask for nor want games with forced DEI when it does not belong.
Even if dustborn was free, I would still request a refund
When the characters look so hideous they physically hurt to look at, they should be the ones paying you to play the damn game
I swear these Dev probably have some kind of inside competition of making 'unlike-able' character in the game..
Fascinating times we are living in. Every time these sorts of scandal blew up in the past 4-5 years, information surfaces regarding these companies and how they are receiving money from the government and its employer. More and more people understand the big picture. Something will break...

@pc14thenumber9
Playing as the bad guy in Overlord worked, because it was completely unmistakable that you were evil.
@@dragonmaster1360 Thing was Overlord was comically evil and you knew it going in.

We need to make micro transactions illegal. If we did that, most developers would put their hearts and souls into their games.
I agree on making them illegal, but these snakes would just find other ways. Already we are seeing Day 1 paywalled content and games offering various price tiers for different benefits including early access to the game..
They lost their hearts and souls so they won’t find them
That's silly, I hate micro transactions as much as anyone.
@@mkocel Micro transactions but with in-game currency. And use said currency for monthly subs like Eve Online does/used to. Same as using Xbox points to pay for Game Pass.

If I had all the money in the world, and have bought all the things I want or need. I would still not buy these products.
To be fair, I expected more sales. There's an awful lot of normies out there. Remember that while Bud Light sales are down, they're still far from zero. They're maybe 50% of what they used to be
dustborn: to our community...
us: so this community, is it in the room with us right now?
Lets not forget that the devs themselves loved playing it so how many of the players are just devs
Shocking
This should make it clear
When we say we dont want it, we dont want it
So seriously the real question is... when's Concord 2 coming out👀.
Remember 'counter disinformation' just means 'our disinformation'
Wow and Sony has tripled down on GAAS 😂😂😂😂 Marathon seems to be the next disappointment.
Dustbin, the ultimate bully simulator. And they say they are the good guys hahaha 😆
Yep. Was just thinking before reading your comment that “Dustbin” is the perfect name for it.
It is not made for people to sell. It was made for investors to spread the agenda. And their investors are literally printing money, so it was never about profit.
I predict the same happens to Outlaws
Never mind that Outlaws is woke garbage, that game is an absolute broken mess that makes Cyberpunk day 1 on PS4 look good.
Concord has a really high ESG score from Blackrock, so you can expect their loss to be covered by tax payer dollars.
I wish I was in every gaming dev team meeting just to say: "Modern audience? Oh, you mean those 56 people playing Concord?"
They're going to chase that live service audience right off the cliff. There's already more than enough games to keep everyone happy and you have to produce a good quality product if you want to steal people off of your competition.
Why in gods name would they produce a game encouraging you to make others feel bad when they can’t even take criticism 🤣
Money runs out eventually
You are right about them having a place in this and that is why they have lost trillions of dollars in this shows that they do not know their own customers for trying to force behaviors is very expensive and Larry Fink is finding that out.
@@aaronaguilar4004I know. I just want to see it happen in my lifetime. I'm nearly halfway through the average human lifespan.
@@aaronaguilar4004 governments will bail out with our 401(k)
The real sales number isn't even 10K based on the most realistic info available.
If the shoe fits. Stay away from the bundles of sticks
@@MikeTheD It's almost poetic.

Concord was already sruggling with low numbers.
But 95%? Darn. Talk about deader than dead.
There are probably more people playing GoldenEye64 to this day on homebrewed netcode via emulators than ever once touched Concord

So dustborn devs go on how they want a world where people feel safe to speak but then silence people who speak out against their game.
What do you mean disaster?
The *ENTIRE* modern audience is playing it as we speak!
People keep saying it should have gone free to play as if that would have changed anything. The only way this game could have been popular is if it was the first hero shooter and considered a novel concept.
"LEECH

LEECH gives us the ability to siphon tax money away from projects that could actually benefit people and put it into our parasitic pockets."
oooooooooohhh 🤫
Did Dustborn steal a great deal of its backstory from 'Brave New World'? The tabletop rpg game about superheroes in an alternate future where JFK survived his assassination attempt (but Jackie didn't) and became more or less a fascist? Even has super powers that.
1220 people on playstation have gotten the achievement "get your first takedown"
Which means, only 1220 people actually bought it on PSN
and 660 on steam.
The game requires you to login to PlayStation on Steam too so those people got the trophy
@@Tyschlorp that makes this even worse XD

Concord character designs didn't pass the puke test.
8 years of development.
16 uninteresting characters, a few stages - that's it.
What did they actually do for the past 8 years cause this game ain't it?
That’s my biggest question.
1) it’s not open world… its maps….
2) the character design… or lack there of
3) how do you spend 8 years thinking, “Yea!!”
Basically? They got paid to do minimum work each day. Or, you know, someone in charge (likely several) was pocketing the money, likely via 'business expenses'.
@@redrevolver4272 It went something like 3 yrs in, the called in "consultants" for the modern audience. That took a year, then they had to go back and rework all the characters voice overs and everything. Then COVID hit that hurt them by at least a year or 2. and Bam here they are.
