I’m a plumber. I use this all the time. Only works on certain clogs. Not all clogs. And will only work if it can build pressure so it has to go out the last drain Bc if there’s a vent or sink or anything the water will come out from there and you’ll never get the clog. 20 mins runs for.
Thanks for posting this. To me it looks just like it did before you started though as we did not see if it overflowed prior to using this bladder. But I will trust that it works.
This is almost identical to my situation. Good demo but I wanted to see where the water is exiting the pipe - assuming it's visible. I ordered the bladder, it will be here tomorrow.
These really do work if you seal all other drains/vents behind it and if you can, use an auger coming back toward you. I know, sounds confusing but it works.
i dont understand how that works, it looks like it just blows up and you get a tiny stream of water, how is that suppose to be enough to clear a blockage?
@@feralbigdog The bladder bloats up to the same inner diameter as the pipe. the stream of water, while thin, comes out like a little jet stream. The water fills up the gap between the bladder and the blockage, forcing the blockage to break apart so it can travel easily through the rest of the pipe. These bladders come in several different sizes to accompany the diameter of pipe being worked on.
@@loumitch1 i wish i knew about that thing early 2018, we had to dig up the tank lid, rent a bigger snake and run a line up, hook onto it and pull the end up through the cleanout, wrap a big washcloth around that and secure it with a clothes hanger, and pull it back through, it worked, dislodged the blockage, mom had a boyfriend at the time that helped us with that, he saw the waste pouring out into the tank and said it was like a cow dropping its,,, well you get the idea
My 4 inch sewer line was backed up between the cleanout in my yard and the street. I tried the drain king 3 times for about 10-15 minutes and it was still clogged. A few days later I tried it one last time but this time I forgot that I was using it and it ran for about 2 1/2 hours. After I pulled the hose out it made a big burp in the cleanout and the backed up water dissappeared.
Will this break off the plastic barbed tip (threaded on to the hose) as soon as you add water pressure to it, and go flying into your sewer pipe -- like the Home Depot, Chinese-made Husky brand bladder? I swear, things manufactured in China have been declining in quality, precipitously, in the last two or three years, especially.
If you got it in, it will go out....obviously make sure the water if off so the bladder deflates and just keep wrangling it around while pushing and pulling at the hose, it will come out.

Great job 😄👍
Omgn!! this is just what I was looking for thank you
Thanks, worked for me too!
Love the piano music

Worked for me too! A plumber would have charged me 100 times more than the bladder did.
I've used the rubber bladder to clear my 4 in sewer line many times and successfully. Saved me a lot of money.

@@loumitch1 when this water builds up, would i be right assuming it acts like a ram to push it (blockage) down into the septic tank?
@@feralbigdog Yes, exactly. As the gap fills up with water, it builds up pressure and forces the blockage to breakup.
