Mischievy I'd just been on holiday, a mix of sun, chlorine and sea water alongside constant washing didn't do it any favours. It had just got to below my bra clasp... Iy has gown about half way back now, it is healthier buy it needs cutting again as my split ends have returned 😒😢

I had brain surgery last year. they took out an area associated with personality...so I am literally going through a personality transformation lol. my husband is super supportive and even embraces every drastic physical change (blonde hair, purple hair, split dye, to black). having supportive people around makes a huge difference in Life!

I had a serious question for you. i put sealer on the ends , should i also put it on the roots because the grey is more porous? Hopefully you can please be kind and answer this question. I can't afford a hair dresser because I am on disability for Epilepsy & I pay for all the groceries for my mom and I. Thank you
Ravenspoetry333 I just thought I would answer. if your talking about coloring your hair you would apply color to new growth without a sealer, because new growth with grey is resistant to color
Trey Irvin Thanks for answering, I just know that the last time i did it, it made my once super thick wavy hair feeling like straw and my hair has NEVER felt like that after coloring. My mother used to be a hairdresser but she is getting older and the last couple times she told me to leave it on a certain amount of time and it felt like it fried the roots not the tips. :"( My hair is not rough on the grey....Thank you kindly

As silly as it may sound to some people but the way you corrected her on using the word embracing rather than accepting. Your hairdresser is usually somebody who knows you better than a lot of people in your social circle believe it or not 😂
I love how you talk with your clients. I'm a cosmetology student who happens to have paranoid schizophrenia(that's what my channel is about), and until i started school i didn't think there was an industry that would embrace(not accept) me for who i was. Your videos and the way you talk to your clients along with my school are all proof that i absolutely belong in this industry. Just love how you're so open. I dyed my hair grey/silver in October and it's the first time any chemical has ever touched my dark brown/black hair.
my stylist tried very hard but he didn't take half the things into consideration that you did.
my hair has been silver for several months and im still figuring it out to balance the color and get that true silver color. your products seem so great and your dying methods make so much sense for my hair type. I have SUCH hot roots and they always turn white before the rest of my head is even done. I need a root touch up soon and your videos were so helpful!

I wish you could save my hair! The German hairdressers can not bleach, they can only unevenly put yellow spots in the hair and destroy (or burn) them! Why there is no guy tang twin in Germany :-(

Almost the same in Italy. Bleaching is extremely hard to do in the proper way and I think that are needed actual skills for that. Unfortunately not all the hairdressers take their time to study better techniques.

Just got me 5 new Big 9 's because they are so beautiful! THE ABSOLUTE BEST BLEACH CREME EVER!!! I have dark black Pakistani hair and this has done wonders for me
1. No sculp burns it sensitivity don't even feel any itching at all!
2. Soft on the hair you can trust it won't kill your hair while processing as it needs no heat and has bond protection.
3. Does exactly as described it lifts insanely well with less than minimal damage .
4. Doesn't leave your hair as dry as other brands not even close!
5. You can tell thought and care went into the product from packaging to smell and most importantly you get your money worth it's truly a Big tube that will be enough for long medium thickness hair like the one you saw in this video. Mine isn't as long as I've cut and shaved it in the military service when i was 19 so yeh my hair would be twice as long as my body if I didn't chop up alot anyways if you have thick short to medium length hair one will also be enough. I do however suggest you always have extra at hand just incase your hair dresser isn't the best at knowing the amounts to use or you are doing it yourself and need room for mistakes . I personally now have some experience but I still get my roots done professionally while giving as many helpful directions as possible to make sure it's done the way Guy does it 💛 which = Perfection ! , It also gives me time to do other things like reply work emails or just relax & catching up on my reading and listening to some good music .
6. I use the 30% volume as i like to take it easy while bleaching , you will usually need to bleach twice if you have super dark hair with other products but not necessarily with Big9, because BiG 9 lifts without any dull brassiness and it actually lifts 9 shades in the course of 45min . So if you have dark to medium brown hair you are basically guaranteed to be full platnium by the end of the first bleach which is pretty damn impressive by all standards.
7. As Guy gracefully mentioned in the video it's white and so is the developer so it would make it easier for you to see the shade you are currently in which blue bleach powders tend to mask not to mention that powders definitely have a harsher effect on hair than creme as it doesn't contain enough conditioning and moisturizer compaction factors which is super needed while bleaching to maintain healthy hair.
I don't find shipping to Egypt to be quick not the company's fault at all it ships as soon as you order it's an Egyptian customs issue they take too long to deliver and they add extra uncalled for taxes so i order online and ship to whichever friend is heading to Egypt and that's perfect for me. I can't wait to get my roots done got the Mydentity Silver pearl to tone and then for a change after I enjoy the fresh platnium for a while more I'll use the arctic blue direct dye vibrant pastel diluted with clear mixer to a lighter shade and make the bottom pastel blue and the top pastel pink I've always wanted to do it dual pastel shades can't wait to try it using Mydentity only products!

I’m a licensed master cosmetologist and I switched from using Goldwell colors to your #mydentity recently. I’m so far blown away by all of the formulas as some of the Goldwell ones were a bit hit and miss with color opaqueness, gray coverage etc. I absolutely love LOVE LOVE‼️Big 9 and Olaplex!! I recently did a full head of Big 9 with 30vol and Olaplex just like this formula that you did and her base was a level 4/5 and it lifted SO EVENLY! Then I used 10SS with it’s 10vol developer all over as she wanted her overall look to be like a metallic gray that would fade into a silver! She comes to me every week for Blowout’s and every month I will do an awesome Olaplex treatment. Guy Tang, please bring mydentity here in the Philippines. There's an extreme lack of access to professional coloring products for freelancers like me. Everything is salon exclusive. I think it's high time for freelance colorists to have access to awesome products.

It is good to see that he is a professional this way. He is thinking about how things are going to turn out, and determine ratios to get the result that he wants. I never realized it was that involved, but am so relieved to know that if a colourist is a true master to the craft, they are always thinking ahead of how they and the client wants it to turn out. It ensures that the client is thrilled with the result and that the colourist gets repeat business!!! Guy is amazing!!

Flower exactly. I have blonde to purple rn, i tried to do it myself and just slapped the dye and called it a day then realised almost half of my head is a level 7 and the other half is a level 9. 😂 ended up getting it sone at a salon 😂

Once again Guy did a fabulous job! I think I have watched every video you have done. I am 68, normally white hair (for 30 yrs now) and went pink and blue! Did it myself. People ask who did it and I just grin. I will be looking for your new products. I have looked for the olaplex but not able to find it here. I do think my hair needs that treatment. After the cancer, my hair went from suer straight to wavy. I do not use heat curlers or heat straighteners. It is either wavy or curly from curlers. Any hints on how to get the kinks out of the waves at my scalp?

There's no denying the fantastic workmanship here. That bleach end result was so even. Tbh, I would've toned with a very pale pastel shade instead - like lvl 10 or 11, in a tone to create interest and really showcase the lightness and lustrousness of the hair. Maybe a level 8 shadow root in a golden ash shade to make her eyes pop
I have naturally black hair but I'm starting to go grey. I love my grey hair and want to embrace my grey but every time I start to grow it out, I look like a skunk :( Is there anything that you recommend be done to my hair so I can embrace my grey but skip the awkward skunk stage?
