this was probably by one of the worst audio of our video series. sometimes we just can't control our environment. Pumps, fans, chillers, warehouse ambient noises and heavy rain (this is summer in Florida) etc, it was extremely difficult. We will however look into investing more into better audio options. thank you for taking your time to let me know how to improve. :)

Here in Hawaii the ancient Hawaiians actually used the zoas on darts to kill their enemies, not animals for food.
Iodine isn't absolutely necessary to keep zoanthids thriving for long periods of time. It can be used to fight some of the pests though. Lugo's is a good choice to do that.
I'm glad you are using Blue Plus bulbs. They are the best!

During this time I noticed when I changed my salt brands that my zoas have taken a nasty turn and started shrinking getting skinny my tank has been holding solid parameters as I manually dose to keep it stable but they are the only ones having an issue. I went back to my old salt and still my perameters are good and stable I feed them reef roids and other goodies I forgot about dosing iodine didn’t even think once about it thanks I bet this will help. Reefs! I need your help with my corals 😩 when I first got them they were flourishing and big and beautiful. Now we have changed the lighting which is what we thought would help (Kessil) and they do not want to open up if they do it is very little 😓 we have been patient and and have had them since August and like I said the first 3 weeks were great now not so much. We aren’t sure how to help our zoanthids and some have “melted” away and we don’t have many left. We also have green star polyps & Kenya tree corals that are still doing well. But our hammer corals have shriveled up and won’t open up, o our pulsating Xenia died/dissolve , and the zoanthids only open a tad:( what can we do to fix them?

@reefs I do not know anyone with a PAR meter but we just put our old lights back on that are lower in intensity. our green star polyp is opened up nice and our tree looking coral (I cannot remember the name right now) is opened as well as our 2 anemones. I can tell the anemones are reaching further and look sort of tree like. I will get the numbers to you asap. My boyfriend tested it last night but I’m not sure of the numbers myself. Why would they start to reach. Some say light other's say flow it could be both, can you offer any advice? Guys i have a problem with my zoa.
Dark brown/black stems and some polyps are losing colour and turning brown.
I've tried revive and coral RX dips and a bit worried about peroxide dips.
What could be wrong with my zoa?
Someone mentioned to me it could be bacterial infection and to try Furan 2 as a dip or tri sulfa in my tank. Not much available in Australia.
    Please help.

Dale Whitmore looks like your zoas are dying. Bacterial infection may be the cause and furan 2 treatment can help if that's the case. I would use soft tooth brush and gently scrub the brown and black dying tissue away, dip in iodine diluted saltwater and then find out what caused it. I wish you the best of luck!

I just got those and when I feed them, I feel there's so much pollution with all the food floating everywhere. Any suggestions?

I fresh water dipped after watching this video and killed a colony of beautiful palys that I had just paid $200.00 for. I will never fresh water dip again. Do not freshwater dip over using a good dip and I wish this video could have made that more clear. I’ve since started using revive.

feed, don't feed, wtf lol. I like how you and every zoa food say more growth so why listen to people who say not feed?

haha I can see your dilema. Chris as an owner of aquaculture facility has no tie in any food brands but in the business to grow corals. He has no alterior motives to sell food so I think you can trust him. ;) In the end, do whatever works for you.
