Am I the only one who's obsessed with your adorable home? I love that you're doing clips in various areas of your home! I just want to crawl into the video and look around! A home tour video would be fun. Your knitting ability truly amazes me. The sweater is gorgeous! I crochet, but watching you makes me want to learn to knit. You are inspiring me to clean out and finish projects. About 8 years ago my husband convinced me to convert our dining room into my craft studio. Best decision ever!!! We never used it anyway, as we have an eating area next to our kitchen. So I think this weekend I will clean out, and get out my WIPs. Thanks for all the inspiration and for a really fun video! You are so sweet and genuine ❤
Thank you sooooo much!!! I've thought about doing the same in my dining room too! But we do use it twice a year! 🤣 Plus that's where the Christmas tree goes! Have fun organizing your WIPS! 🧶❤️🐑
@EliseRoseCrochet Oh that's so funny, because that was my argument with my husband....we use it twice a year! His comeback was, "but a craft studio would be used every day!" Thank goodness he's so smart! 😊 I've never regretted it. I love all the natural light ( I had a basement room before), plus this way I can keep a closer eye on our 2 youngest kids, who both have special needs. That room is my happy place. ♥️
I so love seeing your kitties! We lost our almost a year ago, and I miss her - even though she chose my husband ! She actually was our daughter's, but when she left for college, Piper became ours. My husband was never a cat person, but when our daughter left, Piper made it her mission to convert my husband - and she succeeded. Piper loved to help me crochet ( under the project on my lap), but if I wasn't crocheting, she was on the couch next to my husband. Never had a leash kitty. They were indoor/outdoor but not on leashes. I'm my mother's daughter! If there's a storm, I gotta watch it! I love watching weather. My husband says go to the basement or the safe place, so he and the kids would hunker down, and I'd watch for tornados. Luckily, we've never had major damage (God takes care of crazy folks like me!). We get limbs down, roof damage, etc. It's just fascinating for me ( just like my Mom. If you can't see it from a galloping horse, it's close enough. If I think I need to fix something I make it worth my while. I'll work up a bigger section, lay it out where I know it's in plain site, leave fir a few days, then go back and walk by. If I notice it, I frog it and fix it. If I look for it and it takes more than 30 seconds to find it, I leave it. If I see it right off the bat, then it's worth frogging to fix. I wonder if a running stitch would have pulled less than the whip stitch that it looked like you were doing? Not that it matters now but with a running stitch you can stitch, then pull the fabric to make sure it isn't puckering. I tend to have the same issues with a whip stitch. I'm glad you took your time. "Always be ready to modify your plan". I have so many projects that are "done" except for the finishing touches. I have 24 crochet blocks for an afghan done. But I have to block them, connect them and put on the edging! I have a crewel embroidery picture I need to block and frame. And I have I think 4 or 5 counted cross stitch pictures I need to stretch and frame. I think my goal for this year is to finish what is done and to do (complete) what I've started! Wish me luck !!❤❤❤❤
Thank you!! I love your idea of leaving your work out and if you can't find the mistake easily then just leave it in! And I'm so sorry about your kitty cat. They really do become members of the family and it's so hard to lose one. Hugs to you! 🐑❤️🧶
I feel so happy for you.. i was grinning like a Cheshire cat by the end of your video.... Well done you. Hooray for you and the finished cardigan 🎉 🥳😁😁
Wear your sweater with pride, Elise. It looks amazing. I understand the frustration of not completing a project when you want to. My favourite sweater that I knit took me 14 years from start to finish because I had all the cable work on the sleeves and body completed but had a baby before I could knit the flowers at the yoke. Like you, when completed, it fit me like a glove and thank goodness it was a style that didn't look outdated by the time it was done.
You are a big reason for why I decided to knit and crochet. I’ve only been knitting for 3 months and am about to make my first sweater. I’m nervous but watching your videos always gives me courage haha
That's wonderful!!! I think it's good to acknowledge that we all get nervous when doing challenging projects! But it feels so good when we finish!!! 🧶❤️🐑
Your Kofte turned out beautiful! I love the warm, rich colors. Yes, mistakes in knitting are more frustrating to fix. I started a scandinavian sweater with steeks about 2 years ago, found that I was using the wrong size needles, ripped out the whole thing (8 inches worth) re-started it and put the project in the closet for a year and a half. I just recently got it out and finished it. Now I'm back to crocheting at least for a while. I look forward to your videos every week.
By the way, If I had grey hair like yours, I most certainly would not have it colour processed. Your 'grey hair' is absolutely beautiful!! Having said that, whoever does your colour, is doing a superb job. One of the things I love about watching your video's is, your hair colour, its stunning. I really do love the grey though! Well done on completing this arduous project!
My cat Fluffy says "Hi" to Olive and Pickle! He kept pawing at the touchscreen of my chromebook, lol. Oh my gosh, I loved the part where you had Story Time with Olive. Her face!😍Adorable. Congratulations on finishing your beautiful cardigan. You did an awesome job!
Thank you!!!! That's my favorite part! I tell Olive the story of the day we found her frequently and she always looks at me with so much love!!! So sweet! Say hi to Fluffy from us!! 😽
Hi Elise, I have to tell you your video today was an absolute joy! I am so proud of you for finishing your sweater. That is definitely one of my bucket list items too and I am going to look up the class you took. I was really "feeling" your determination to finish the goal you set for yourself. This spring I tackled my first pair of Selbu mittens. I also fortunately or unfortunately selected the hardest pattern I have ever seen to challenge myself. It took me four grueling months of frogging and refrogging to finally feel the elation of completing the project...only to discover that I had made the rookie mistake of making two left mittens. Argggh!!! :). After the eye twitch finally calmed down I set sail again and after another month finally completed the project. It was one of my best knitting learning experiences. With regards to mistakes I read something once I thought put it nicely, it told the story about some Native American rug makers who leave one mistake in every rug they make to give credit to the fact that only the Great Spirit is perfect. I thought that was a beautiful idea. So I tried to adapt that philosophy as I go along in my projects and I leave in a mistake or two as long as it doesn't compromise the vision I had imagined for the piece. Knitting and crocheting became fun once again and I felt an inner peacefulness with my projects. You can almost tell when you pick up a project whether its your own or someone else's, if the energy they put into it was peaceful or frenetic. But all good things can be taken too far. I have seen a lot of videos lately and have known people who try to excuse away the fact that they need to learn a few more skills. Its been my experience that crocheting and knitting is all about the practice, and that never stops no matter how many projects you make or years you work at it. I used to teach crochet classes at my home for many years. I could tell almost immediately who was going to stick with it. It was simple, but hands down every time. The person who succeeded was the student who would go home and happily crocheted their wonky crooked granny squares, and who were then willing to frog one out during the next class and be shown how to more evenly turn the corner. Only about a quarter of the students ever got that far. The budding realization that crocheting was harder than they thought and the need they had to have someone looking over their shoulder to tell them they were doing a good job tripped so many people up. As soon as they got home they were afraid to practice for fear they would do it wrong and it would be a waste of time. No matter how fun I tried to make it or how much I encouraged them along the way the fear in the air during that first class was palpable. It made me so sad to see how afraid so many dear women young and old were of making a simple mistake. I would try and compare learning to crochet to playing the piano. You practice and practice and everything is discordant at first, it all just seems like separate notes and chords, until one day like magic you find that you playing and enjoying the music! Its all about embracing our mistakes and knowing that they are not a reflection of our inner artist. That artist is released when we have the skills to reflect our personal vision. And your sweater is truly a work of art. And it really inspires me to continue learning and gaining more skills!
Thank you soooo much for sharing your wisdom! And I can totally imagine that eye twitch when you realized you had made two left mittens!!! Oh my goodness! 🤪 Your comparison to learning piano is particularly is particularly relevant because my daughter has a masters degree in piano pedagogy and has taught lessons for years! Such a good observation!🎹
Your Norwegian cardigan is absolutely stunning. . Oh how I wish I could do something so beautiful...maybe one day!! Cross that one off your WIP list and call that a major accomplishment!!! Be proud!! Stay warm and keep crocheting yarny friend 💜💜💜
It's BEAUTIFUL!!! Well done! Thanks for sharing your ups and downs. I don't knit well at all. I mostly crochet, and then it's little projects like shawls and baby blankets. I do feel accomplished when the project is done. Thanks again for sharing, it really is BEAUTIFUL!!
I had to laugh when you had to calm yourself down saying one mistake doesn't ruin the whole project. I get that way too! Making a mistake just takes the wind out of my sails and have to mentally get my head back in the game to fix and continue. Glad to know I'm not alone!
I get you... I'm trying to finish this corner to corner crochet blanket. It's been hanging around since before I fell and fractured my wrist. One year later, the wrist has had surgery, my hip has been operated, dislocated and I'm finally healed. So now it's going to be finished, no matter what. The next project is even older, it the SeaGlass Cardigan. I will finish it as soon as the blanket is done.😊
Love it and it looks so cute on you. I say im going to make one some day!! I'm 63! 😂 I was thinking you must live in the South, no snow!! Im in East Tennessee and we have been snowed and iced in for a week tomorrow! Unusual for here.
We live just over the mountains in NC! My husband and I met in Knoxville and got married there almost 30 years ago! I've been seeing all the snow pics on Facebook and I'm so jealous! ❄️❄️❄️
Yay for you!! Such a gorgeous kofte and what a treasure it will be for years to come. And as for moving the camera..so glad you left didn't edit that out...cracked me up! I hope your audience grows because you have a wonderful screen personality. It's sooo cold in Kentucky now--don't know about NC but in any case, stay warm!!
This is a stunning knit project! I have K and C for over 50 years... and never done anything quite this complicated... I will share though, that i NEVER do knit bands... I always do a "crochet band" the placement of the buttonholes and allow for a smoother front.....
OMG! CONGRATULATIONS IM SO PROUD OF YOU AND I KNOW YOU ARE TOO! It is such an amazing feeling completing my crochet projects. The happiness is unexplainable! I can’t wait to learn how to knit.
Congratulations on getting that done, and it’s beautiful! I love the way you allowed yourself grace in meeting your own deadlines. You acknowledged you are human and can get things done. 🎉
Congratulations on your cardigan! It looks beautiful! Hard work and perseverance do pay off! I enjoy Knitography Farm and have enrolled in the class that makes the cowl. I have the materials but have not started yet! Thanks for the inspiration!!
Oh my God, you are so funny my husband was in the Air Force. We moved to Germany and I learned to Continental. They had magazines in Germany on knitting, which I had never seen. I worked for a lady that owned a Christmas craft shop a.k.a. everything you would do for stitching I bought the most expensive yarn you could find. I was almost 30 in crocheting since I was nine but not knitting. So this was a great time in my life. I knit my first Strikking and I was in love with this type of knitting we had to translate when I needed help. I walked up the street to one of the ladies, who was a netter. My babysitter, and I were learning to knit at the same time I was just fine with it until I got to the steeking. I finally put cardboard inside my sweater before I cut it because I was convinced I was going to cut through the back of the sweater.
Thank you so much for sharing! My son is in Air Force ROTC right now! I was terrified cutting the steek and I also had a piece of cardboard inside. I would have fainted if I had cut through the back! 🐑🧶❤️😅
6:54 I see that you had “help”😂 Many times!! I am VERY impressed, the cardigan is gorgeous!!❤ 9:02 I am KNOT a KNITTER, so I can appreciate that you want to fix things, because you aren’t happy. 14:53 Enjoy your Christmas decorations while you are working on your kofta. I am so impressed by your determination and dedication 😊 from Ohio
I feel the same way about knitting. My grandma taught me both when I was little and even she felt the same. So, one of my goals this year is to become a better knitter. Your cardigan is absolutely beautiful! I have finally embraced my gray, and yours it just lovely, and Olive is super sweet.
Gorgeous job! i’ve been knitting for almost 15 years now and still haven’t finished a sweater. in fact never actually started one! I’m so paralyzed by the thought of it not fitting, and now that i live in a warmer climate area i don’t feel the pull to get stuff done as quickly either so i’m afraid it would linger… Really hoping to find a new LYS or knit group close to home and have some inspiration again! My area’s yarn shop closed and going into CLT is a chore! Living vicariously thru your videos helps for sure! What a labour of love, and such special finishing touches too!
That sweater is beautiful! You should be proud of yourself! Sometimes doing something hard is a lesson in life and it sounds like you learned a lot. Never give up , never surrender!
I learned soooooo much about knitting and myself with the kofte. One of the biggest lessons was to only think about one part at a time. I get paralyzed when I think of the whole project, but do well when I just do the next thing! 🐑❤️🧶
I don't ever put deadlines on my work unless it's to finish a gift or something for a show. I obsess about the project details too, but then I do use and wear things and I hope you do too! ❤
Beautiful cardigan! Thank you for showing that you don't have to be an expert knitter to make beautiful knitting projects - and thank you for showing up your first steek!
Elise, you should feel very proud of yourself for not giving up & making such a beautiful cardigan!! I could feel your struggle because I have a couple of Wips that I dread picking up cause they're difficult. I would love to knit a Fair Isle cardigan someday but not brave enough yet. Please post pics in full view wearing your beautiful cardigan...I would love to see the whole thing❤🌻🦋
I LOVE the sweater you are wearing on the wednesday with the cherries and whatnot on it! I am trying to learn to knit (I am already pretty okay at crocheting), and I am trying to figure it out slowly but surely! You inspire me!!
I am so glad you got your cardigan done! ANd best part it looks beautiful! Thanks for inspiring me not to give in to just letting thing sit, I have been struggling with a Tunisian crochet scarf.
Wow Elise, what an accomplishment with that beautiful cardigan! I started the neck warmer when you did and only got three rows in. I also wanted to mention that Mary Maxim carries the Amigurumi Circulo mercerized cotton yarn you found in the video with your mom. Happy knitting and crocheting!🧶
I've been learning to knit and this was so inspirational for those of us with learning curves!! Thanks bunches!!! And since I've been snowed in here in Tennessee since last Sunday, I have worked a lot on my knitting projects!
Way to go!! As you know I finished the Curious George and am now on skein 5 of 7 for granddaughter's sibbling (girl I call baby2cakes) due 3/4/24 but the shower is tomorrow! Weeee! At least I know I have enough yarn and don't have to play yarn chicken tonight!!!! Absolutely LOVE your finished cardigan. THANKS for sharing your journey!!!! Ang in WA state.
Great video. I'm glad you got it finished. I do wish that you had shown a full front picture of yourself wearing it. I was looking forward to seeing the full design and button choice. Either way it is beautiful. Congratulations!
Your videos are so encouraging to me. I've been watching since before I successfully learned to crochet past my first project in June of last year. Because of your tips and videos as well as positive attitude, I've made over 40 amigurumi gifts, one complete blanket and 2 blanket wips, 14 mittens, 2 scarfs, 4 hand warmers, 3 beards, and I'm sure other projects I've forgotten about. You're amazing and it's been awesome watching your process and down to earth realistic yarn art experience.
You are an inspiration to me! I just turned 30 and watching you gorgeous lady still working on personal progress while making progress on your amazing craft …. No other words for it but THANK YOU!! Love the cardigan, love your hair (mine is starting to have a few strands of white, hope it will turn out to look like yours 😍) and love your personality!
Wow what a coincidence. My friends and I started with Patricia’s classes too, in 2021. I made the cowl and the selbugenser. I was getting so behind some of the class members who were rushing through five sweaters when I was making one. But I’ve learned so much. I have all the kofte patterns, and I will make one next. Yours came out great. I set a deadline finally so I could enter my project in a local fair. I won best in show! You should try entering yours in a fair. Ha ha the weaving in ends took a long time!
You did a great job with the ribbons. I steeked the armholes on my genser but I haven’t done a kofte yet so I haven’t done the ribbons. The steeked armholes have the knitted facings on the sleeves. The genser is a different style than the kofte you did with shoulders in the round. Mine has drop shoulders.
Dear Elise, thank you for this video. I can so relate with you, on so many levels. I too am trying to finish my many WIPs while trying to knit a vest that my son requested for my DIL. That cardigan is a true work of art. You should feel so proud. Keep the great videos coming. You inspire me!
Thank you!! I am determined that I would be doing things different this year! And my biggest hurdle was getting this project finished! Having a deadline was the key for me! 🐑❤️🧶
I just adore you. Thank you for sharing your struggles and your successes (which can often be the same thing). The cardigan looks gorgeous on you, and you have every right to be extremely proud. I know your RUclips family is very proud of you.
Your cardigan looks fabulous Elise. Congratulations for finishing it. Don’t stress yourself out by setting yourself unrealistic deadlines though. You’ve inspired me to start knitting a lace patterned jumper again which I gave up on because I kept losing my concentration and making mistakes. P.S. Olive is so much like my cat Basil Fawlty who I still miss even though he passed in 2003.
Thank you!!! I wasn't sure I would ever get it done! But I'm so glad I did! And I'm so sorry about your kitty cat. Their loss leaves such a big hole. 🧶❤️🐑
Love the cardigan! I was watching a Norwegian movie yesterday and was admiring all the beautiful sweaters they were wearing and today your video appears! I think it's a sign to one day try to make a design like yours ❤❤. Congratulations on finishing it!
I'm a crocheter, but I'm very much like you. I have OCD, and sometimes (especially in my crochet projects), if I don't like something, then I will redo it until its right.
Congratulations! I am proud of you for sticking to it and finishing it! I am inspired to finish my crochet project that’s been abandoned for a while now. Thank you!
You did it!!! It’s beautiful! Love the colors and I love your determination to see it all the way through 😊 stay warm! We’re under a blanket of snow but the sun is shining.
Congratulations! Thank you for letting us see your struggle. We all go through that with some projects. I was very impressed with your determination to get the ribbon right. It turned out absolutely beautiful! And you look AMAZING in it! I feel like you still got it done in four days because the first day was all wrapped up in storm watch and basement flooding, etc. My kids and I LOVED seeing Olive and Pickle, too!❤🧶❤️🐈♥️🧶♥️
Wow! So far I haven’t finished a crocheted wearable that I was happy with. I think poor yarn choice played a bit role in that. Congratulations on finishing yours and loving the fit! Beautiful cardigan! Almost makes me want to learn to knit! 🧶
You should be so proud of this cardigan. It’s stunning and one of a kind even if someone else used the same color scheme it’s still one of a kind. I wish I had the strength to learn knitting like that. Wow!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
So beautiful. I know how you feel about just finishing up the project. I crochet and get that feeling every time it's a big project. The sweater looks amazing on you and thanks for taking us along 🧶😊
You ARE incredible Elise !!! Congratulations 🎉 And your cardigan is gorgeous ✨️ I love your sense of humour and I love your age, you are beautiful ❤ (my turn next year for the half century 😉)
You finished it! Beautiful! I can relate to the stress of knitting you describe. Crochet? No problem to find an error. Super simiple to fix it. Easy! and I can zip right through just about any project. Knitting is always a problem child. in fact, I gave away all but one pair of size nine knitting needles in case a crochet project needs the teeniest amount of knitting. It’s crochet for me!
The Amish always put a mistake in their projects. You’re doing a very advanced knitting project! I’ve been knitting since I was 10 (61) years and I do stranded knitting but only mittens and or socks! I’m not Amish but they believe only God is perfect! The sweater is gorgeous!

Beautiful work! It feels so good to finish a long delayed project. I love seeing Olive out on her walk.
It really is!! She loves her walks! 🐑🐑🧶😽
I feel so happy for you.. i was grinning like a Cheshire cat by the end of your video.... Well done you. Hooray for you and the finished cardigan 🎉 🥳😁😁
Thank you soooooo much!!! 🧶❤️🐑
A sweater as a first knitted project is amazing. I can crochet simple projects but a sweater 😮 you inspire me. 2024 is the year !
Thank you! This isn't my first knitted project, I've made many! This was my first cardigan and the hardest project I've ever tackled! 🤪❤️🐑🧶
That's amazing that you were able to persevere and finish your sweater!!! 🧶❤️🐑
Congratulations on finishing a WIP!! It is so beautiful! Don't forget to add it to your 2024 Journal. Yay!
Thank you!!! And thanks for the reminder!!!! 🧶❤️🐑
Oh my goodness, the cardigan is a masterpiece! Congratulations!
Awww! Thank you! 🧶❤️🐑
Way to persevere!!!!!! You did it!!! It looks gorgeous and very tedious! 👏🏽
Thank you! Two perfect words to describe it: gorgeous + tedious!
Thank you! Sounds like a very similar experience! I'm just so glad it's finished! I'm sure you feel the same way! 🧶❤️🐑
Congratulations, I'm so glad you finished your cardigan.. it looks amazing. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you so much! Feels great to have it finished! 🧶❤️🐑
Thank you! My hair dresser just blends the gray in, we don't cover it up. Eventually when it's all gray/white I'll stop coloring it! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!! I would never have believed I could make something like it either!! It's just one step at a time! 🧶❤️🐑
Thank you so much! 🧶❤️🐑
I had to laugh when you had to calm yourself down saying one mistake doesn't ruin the whole project. I get that way too! Making a mistake just takes the wind out of my sails and have to mentally get my head back in the game to fix and continue. Glad to know I'm not alone!
Yes!! And I can't even see the mistakes now!! 🧶❤️🐑
Good Morning, Elise! Oh my goodness, your cardigan is stunning! Thank you so much for sharing your journey!
Thank you!! I'm so glad it's finished!!!! 🧶❤️🐑
Oh goodness!! You poor thing!! I know how good you'll feel when you get them done!! 🧶🧶🧶
Your sweater turned out so beautifully! ❤😍 Way to get it finished! Steeking looks so intimidating, that's where I would be stuck in process, too 😅
That's where I got stuck for quite some time! I was so worried I was going to ruin it! 🧶❤️🐑
I would try a cardigan if I could make left and right front panels. I’m way too timid to steek.
Yay, congratulations! But I want to see more of the whole cardigan...you need to do a full modeling reel of that gorgeous work of art!!
I realized that after I published the video that you really couldn't see the whole thing! I will share a full body shot on Instagram this week! 🧶❤️🐑
Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️❤️ It's cold here too, just wish we had some snow!! ❄️❄️❄️
This is a stunning knit project! I have K and C for over 50 years... and never done anything quite this complicated... I will share though, that i NEVER do knit bands... I always do a "crochet band" the placement of the buttonholes and allow for a smoother front.....
Thank you for sharing!!! 🐑❤️🧶
Loved the tree/weather scenery! ❤ Your sweater is gorgeous and you should be nothing but proud!!!🎉❤
Thank you so much! I'm really happy with how it turned out. ❤️
OMG! CONGRATULATIONS IM SO PROUD OF YOU AND I KNOW YOU ARE TOO! It is such an amazing feeling completing my crochet projects. The happiness is unexplainable! I can’t wait to learn how to knit.
Yes!!! Thank you!!! It feels so good to have it done! 🧶🐑❤️
Congratulations on getting that done, and it’s beautiful! I love the way you allowed yourself grace in meeting your own deadlines. You acknowledged you are human and can get things done. 🎉
Yep! I so wanted to finish it in four days, but I was determined to get it done even if it took a few more! Thank you! 🧶❤️🐑
So glad to see the sweater that you got it done .😊
Thank you! Me too! 🧶❤️🐑
Congratulations on your cardigan! It looks beautiful! Hard work and perseverance do pay off! I enjoy Knitography Farm and have enrolled in the class that makes the cowl. I have the materials but have not started yet! Thanks for the inspiration!!
Wonderful! Patricia is such an amazing teacher! Enjoy! 🧶❤️🐑
olive has such a beautiful face a very happy cat indeed. love the cardigan really suits you.
Thank you! She is such a beautiful girl!! Can't believe we just found her on the street all alone as a teeny tiny kitten! 🧶❤️🐑
Yay!!!! You finished! Your kofte is gorgeous, and so much lovelier because it is your creation, from cast-on to buttons. Congratulations 🎉
Thank you!! I almost can't believe I finally finished it!! 🐑❤️🧶
You sound like me about these knitting mistakes. Thank you for inspiring me to get back to my knitting and correct my mistakes.
You are so welcome! 🧶❤️🐑
Its beautiful. Looks amazing. Well done you !
Thank you! 😊
Awesome job finishing your cardigan. It is beautiful. 😀
Thank you! 😊
Haha!! Mr. Pickle loves to help!! 🤣
I feel the same way about knitting. My grandma taught me both when I was little and even she felt the same. So, one of my goals this year is to become a better knitter. Your cardigan is absolutely beautiful! I have finally embraced my gray, and yours it just lovely, and Olive is super sweet.
Thank you!!! 🧶❤️🐑
Your voice is so soothing it's hard to keep my eyes open, I can't help myself from falling to sleep 😅
Awww! Sounds like you need a good rest! 🐑❤️🧶
Thank you so much! I hope you find a new LYS! 🧶🧶🧶
Elise I live like 3 hours from you Princeton WV and the snow is crazy! Stay warm!
I'm so jealous!!!!! It's cold here, but no snow! ❄️❄️❄️
Your sweater is beautiful ❤ You did it❤yay!!🎉
@@yapper80 thank you!!! 🧶❤️🐑
I don't ever put deadlines on my work unless it's to finish a gift or something for a show. I obsess about the project details too, but then I do use and wear things and I hope you do too! ❤
That's wonderful! I did wear it when it was cold!! 🐑
Beautiful cardigan! Thank you for showing that you don't have to be an expert knitter to make beautiful knitting projects - and thank you for showing up your first steek!
You are so welcome! I try to keep it real around here!! 🤣🐑❤️🧶
Thank you!! Yes! I will share the full view of the cardigan on Instagram this coming week! 🧶❤️🐑
@EliseRoseCrochet Thanks Elise, I can't wait to see it!!🤗🌻
I LOVE the sweater you are wearing on the wednesday with the cherries and whatnot on it! I am trying to learn to knit (I am already pretty okay at crocheting), and I am trying to figure it out slowly but surely! You inspire me!!
Thank you! That sweater was store bought, but I love it! 🧶❤️🐑
I am so glad you got your cardigan done! ANd best part it looks beautiful! Thanks for inspiring me not to give in to just letting thing sit, I have been struggling with a Tunisian crochet scarf.
It feels so good to finish a project that's been hanging around for a while! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you so much for sharing!! 🐑❤️🧶
I've been learning to knit and this was so inspirational for those of us with learning curves!! Thanks bunches!!! And since I've been snowed in here in Tennessee since last Sunday, I have worked a lot on my knitting projects!
I'm so jealous of everyone who has snow! It's been quite cold here and I just want some snow!!! 🤣❄️❤️
Our roads are terrible!@@EliseRoseCrochet
Thank you, Ang!!!! Good luck on getting that project finished tonight!!! 🙌
@@EliseRoseCrochet xoooo
Great video. I'm glad you got it finished. I do wish that you had shown a full front picture of yourself wearing it. I was looking forward to seeing the full design and button choice. Either way it is beautiful. Congratulations!
I realized that after I published the video! I will share a full shot of the cardigan and the button details this coming week in a RUclips Short! 🧶❤️🐑
Awww! Thank you! And congratulations!!!!! 👏👏👏
Awww! Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️
I’m súper proud of you , YOU MADE IT, make me laugh everytime you said “tomorrow” beautiful work
Thank you!!! It felt like tomorrow would never come!! 🤣
That's amazing!!! Patricia is an amazing teacher!! I would love to start another class but I need some time off so I forget how hard it was! 🤣🤣🤣
Your cardigan is absolutely beautiful. I hope you can enjoy it for years to come and one day pass it down to a loved one ❤
Thank you so much! 🧶❤️🐑
I just adore you. Thank you for sharing your struggles and your successes (which can often be the same thing). The cardigan looks gorgeous on you, and you have every right to be extremely proud. I know your RUclips family is very proud of you.
Awww! Thank you so much!! 🧶🧶🧶
That's amazing!! And you should do it!! The designs are so beautiful! 🧶❤️🐑
It's so exciting to finish a project that has taken so long. I have tried knitting but wasn't very good at it. I still enjoy crochet so much more.
It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders!! 🐑❤️🧶
I'm a crocheter, but I'm very much like you. I have OCD, and sometimes (especially in my crochet projects), if I don't like something, then I will redo it until its right.
I totally understand! 🧶🧶🧶
Elise your cardigan is gorgeous. Way to go!!!!🎉
Thank you so much!! 🧶❤️🐑
Congratulations! I am proud of you for sticking to it and finishing it! I am inspired to finish my crochet project that’s been abandoned for a while now. Thank you!
Thank you!! Giving myself a deadline was the best thing I could have done for myself! Maybe that would work for you too?? 🧶❤️
GOOD JOB you are inspiring! I have made 5 of your mouse dolls! my nieces LOVED them for Christmas
Awww! That's wonderful!! 🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭
Woo hoo!!! You did it! It’s gorgeous.
Thank you! 🧶❤️🐑
Congratulations. That cardigan is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for inspiring me today.
Thank you so much! 🧶❤️🐑
You did it!!! It’s beautiful! Love the colors and I love your determination to see it all the way through 😊 stay warm! We’re under a blanket of snow but the sun is shining.
Thank you! 🧶❤️🐑 It's freezing here and I'm so jealous of everyone who has snow!! ❄️❄️❄️
@@EliseRoseCrochet yeah freezing temperatures are definitely not as fun without snow. That’s how it was here for a few days until we finally got some!
My kids and I LOVED seeing Olive and Pickle, too!❤🧶❤️🐈♥️🧶♥️
Thank you so much! I'm so glad it's finished (and that the storm is gone, lol!) Olive and Pickle love being part of my videos! 🧶❤️🐑
Wow! So far I haven’t finished a crocheted wearable that I was happy with. I think poor yarn choice played a bit role in that. Congratulations on finishing yours and loving the fit! Beautiful cardigan! Almost makes me want to learn to knit! 🧶
I think yarn choice is one of the most important decisions you can make when starting a project! And knitting is wonderful!! 🧶❤️🐑
I loved this video. I don't knit, but you showed us the excitement and downsides of almost finished wips. Thank you. 🧶🧶❤️❤️ it is gorgeous...😊😊
Thank you!!! It's amazing to get this project finally done!! 🧶❤️🐑
Starting *2024* strong! Smashing those goals! You go Elise! Love from the Netherlands
Thank you so much!! 🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱
Way to go Elise! I know that wasn't easy but it's beautiful!
Thank you!!!! 🧶❤️🐑
Your cardigan came out beautifully. I wouldn't have the patience to it. That is a wonderful work of art and love. Congratulations!
Thank you so much! ❤️🧶🐑
You should be so proud of this cardigan. It’s stunning and one of a kind even if someone else used the same color scheme it’s still one of a kind. I wish I had the strength to learn knitting like that. Wow!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you so much! 🧶❤️🐑
So beautiful. I know how you feel about just finishing up the project. I crochet and get that feeling every time it's a big project. The sweater looks amazing on you and thanks for taking us along 🧶😊
Thank you!! And now I'm crocheting a mindless granny square project! 🤣🐑❤️🧶
I definitely want to try stranded work! Thanks for the inspiration!
You definitely should! 🧶❤️🐑
Girl, I’ve been watching you for years and have enjoyed and learned in every episode. But this is my Favorite episode you’ve ever done!!!!
Awww! Thank you!! This is my favorite video I've ever made too! ❤️🐑
What an amazing project. Glad that you gutted it out in the end. It always feels so awesome to finish a project.
It's the best feeling ever!!! 🧶❤️🐑
Your cardigan is absolutely gorgeous! I love it!
Thank you so much! 🐑🐑🐑
This was so fun to watch!! I loved this style of video😊
Glad you liked it!! 🧶❤️🐑
You ARE incredible Elise !!! Congratulations 🎉 And your cardigan is gorgeous ✨️ I love your sense of humour and I love your age, you are beautiful ❤ (my turn next year for the half century 😉)
Thank you!!!! I am so glad it's done!! It's a great age!! 🐑🧶❤️
Haha! I totally understand! I hope someday to feel as comfortable with knitting as I do crochet! 🧶❤️🐑
