This is not something I had ever thought about until I published a book. These exact issues come up in formatting. Especially in formatting for paperback. Nobody wants to have a single word (runt) on an otherwise blank page, so the same work arounds apply. I had to do a bit of rewording or finding places to add paragraph breaks. Text needs to "Look right" as much as it needs to "sound right".

@@Memesqueen777 There are actually quite a few fintech companies in HK hiring UX writers. But it is still very new in this part of the world. What kind of things do you want to know about "flow problems"?

@@UXHeWrote 1. The word wrap problem, my first language is not English. So it's so hard for me to design where to wrap.
      E.g.
      Cat is
      An animal.
      Cat
      Is an animal.
But the most challenging task for me is doing bilingual editorial design cuz different languages have there different rules & size & look. When they appeare at the same time, I need to adjust it for control the grayscale.
Oh! I don't know HK have Ux writers. Why do u know? So cool! U work in HK?

      我其实离你很近,所以经常有香港的猎头找我。好像都是fintech,bitcoin等。
      你说的设计问题。。。你用figma吗?
