I'm just here for free subscribbliles Nah. Takes like 15 mins on console aswell. You just record a small clip, copy it in USB flash drive and transfer that to your computer. And this is the easiest phase to begin with

How do you not see the audacity method... he literally shows you how to see dots and dashes and spaces. Also the discoord will help you out. Just send a video recording to them thru DVR and they'll decipher in like 30 seconds.

Bro this is the easiest one, the first one had you translate 9 different morse codes, then either reverse it or use a cipher or both

I never do Easter eggs cause there's always morse code, and it's too much lol
Just record your morse and send it to the BFEE Discord linked in the description. We can help you decode it
This one is really simple. Just record the Morse code, do the steps that Jack showed to export it to .wav, head to BF1 discord channel and ask for help. They are great and will help you with that and give you your numbers right away. You just convert those back to Morse code for the lamp stuff and good to go. Took me about 10 mins.

Jack! This is very important!!! In the very first phase of the masteman easteregg last morse on Balroom blitz with the red lights was covered by mysterious noises. You were able to hear a voice wisper ,, Save the machines “!! Now when you listen closely to the sound of the smoke Monster after you completed a Conflict on sossoins you’ll hear a machine starting. There are a few therories. About the sound we heard in this video i think it has to be the isolation door on fort vaux. It is locked with chains!!! Now many people think the machine could be some sort of time machine. When i played on capparetto in the CTE i found a pretty weird looking Wine Machine that could have something to dow ith that. Also there is the theorie of a kraken excisting in Bttalefield 1. On Zebbruge when you jump into the water from the livhthouse near A flag you’ll start hearing noises like Wales or whatever. The Door you can hear being opened could lead to the Phrase,, release the kraken”. I hope you can start something with tgis information!! Stay awesome

Actually morse code is really easy to learn, daily if you practice about 20 you can learn it in about a month

Discovery and solution to the easter eggs are typically by the Battlefield Easter Egg community (BFEE), which Jack linked in the description!

Alec Parsons The battlefield easter egg community probably launches random 20 man searches of different sections of different maps and then spend two or three days decoding everything they find, leading to, over the course of these searches, someone eventually finding something, i mean, its plausible.
Piet Andersen or dice just gives them hints and helps them with these Easter eggs. No way anyone finds these without help from dice.

I was there when this was first discovered. Any time a new update drops, we (BFEE) run around the new maps looking for anything new, so this discovery happened by accident while looking for other things

Done, thanks for the help. This was definitely the easiest of the 3 dog tags. Also, once I got the smoke and sounds, I had to restart the game to actually see and be able to equip the dog tag. Got scared for a sec, thought I`d have to do it all over again but after a restart of the game it was there lol

When an Easter Egg requires sound sampling, deciphering wave forms, translating Morse code and that is THE START? Nah.
Some cool history for anyone interested: “Dulce et décorum est pro patria mori”, while it is Latin, is not a Latin poem. This phrase was most likely made famous by a WW1 poet named Wilfred Owen. Dulce et décorum est pro patria mori was both the title and last line of a poem he wrote about his horrific experience in the trenches, writing about gas attacks, artillery, mud, etc.
Compared to the first two dog tags, this one is super easy and quick. You could do this in a half hour as opposed to the ~6 hours the first one took me.

Tip for PS4 players:
1. Capture the part with morse code (set 1 minute video length for faster transfer)
2. Just copy video to USB device (DO NOT modify video before transfer, otherwise PS4 will suspend BF1 and you will by disconnected from server)
3. Copy file to PC
4. Convert file to mp3 or wav
5. Load Audicity and follow Jack´s guidence
The thing stopping me from doing this is the whole within one round and having to record sound files and look at them. Same reason i didn't get the BF4 DICE White camo. Took too much time. I got the bow and the dog tags, that was fun for me but not this running around in empty servers trying to put in codes that change constantly and having to use 3rd party software.

No its not difficult but I should not have to leave the game at all. I shouldn't have to sit in an empty server or risk losing everything. That's what i liked about the BF4 hunts I could do it in a normal match, except for the DICE camo one, didn't like or do that because it required it be done in one match.
All I should have to do is hunt/find the clues and trigger a switch that gives me a set, Morse code message (this can be unique to each account, yes agree there) it plays the message and then stops. You activate the switch again and hear the code if necessary. It should cut all sound and be like a voicemail/answering machine.
I should be able to leave and comeback as I see fit (sure the process can reset each time but not the code).
I should be able toe easily hear and write down my code/message put that in my phone and translate it then input that. No need to record, no need to use 2 or 3 other programs or ask others help other than finding the next step not solving the steps.
You can just use pen and paper to record it oldschool style. I'd do it that way anyway, but this is way to much work for what is essentially nothing.
Hey guys, as a console player I share your issues with recording and deciphering morse code. However a simple trick like recording your morse code with your phone, sending it to the discord and asking for help is a great way to get past the morse code monster. The Discord people are the nicest gracious people ever and will be glad to help you out.

Maybe this will lead to an amazing reward in the Apocalypse DLC, but I honestly much preferred the Phantom Program from BF4
GlodChip the first reward was a dog tag but then you got a weapon camo, soldier camo, and then the Phantom bow 1 year before everyone else
What? So far it's almost the exact same as BF4 if not easier considering you don't have to do a bunch of random assignments first. You get 2 dog tags and 1 weapon skin just like bf4. There is no player camo in BF1 so that's impossible. The last DLC isn't even out yet but I'm assuming that's where you will get the phantom weapon.

(maybe misspelled a bit cuz there was lot of background noise, but its nowhere close to that latin phrase)
EDIT: After doing the exact same thing in another game, it worked properly, no idea what happened
BF1 gives little random morse code messages sometimes when you're playing infiltrator, must have played it just as you reached the top of the tower. same thing happened to me, an unfortunate coincidence

Make sure you have the newest version of audacity, I tried this with Audacity 2.1 that I already had and the spectrogram wasn't readable, reinstalled 2.2.1, and it's easy, like shown here.

For the bronze dog tag I spent several hours!!! doing tedious work. I didn't even try to get the silver dog tag with its over complicated puzzle. but the gold one was just a breeze and got it in just a few minutes. thanks for the video and to whoever made the website!

What about the monster on Heligoland Bight? If you melee or shoot the bell on top of the lighthouse enough you hear it
plus there are switches like the ones you interact with on the Albion Easter egg in the bunkers on that map!
The noise on Heligoland will also give you morse code in this same way. The messages are hints about how to get the An Escalation gun skin. The switches you see are just repurposed light fixture models, so you'll see them all over nearly every map in the game.
Just acquired this dogtag on console. Took a little while but was still surprising easy. It basically just comes down to get a good audio record of the morse code and translate it, and then after everything is super easy

I thought it was super cool taking audio from a video. And applying a spectrograph to it making the beeps in Morse code actually visible. Decoding it and using that info on more steps. And now I have an awesome camo and dog tag. It looks so much harder than it is. In reality this takes like 10, 15 minutes. Maybe 20 if u really don't understand.

All of those assignments look nice however I do have a couple questions:
1: How the hell do you get on an empty server (public for some of those) on PS4?
2: How are you supposed to remain on the server and switch between the maps, again on PS4?
3: How do you use transfer all those recordings from a PS4 to the websites? Do you use a PC?
I still debating whether or not I'll try those out.
