- Chimpanzees have much better short term memories compared to humans. There's got to be a reason for Miller's paper to be the most cited paper in psychology. - That being said, I think we should come up with new kinds of tests, realizing the fact that our short-term memory recall isn't so great. I am not sure what those tests are going to be. But they would involve spatial and temporal elements.
