For anybody suggesting that Palestinians want a two state solution, just remember the charter of Palestine explicitly says they intend on completely destroying the state of Israel.
The Hamas Charter goes much further than that. It not only places the destruction of Israel as a primary orienting principle, it states the complete eradication of all Jews on earth as the justification for its existence. Hamas exists for no other purpose than to kill Jews. This is consistent with the life and times of Mohammed, who himself raised an army to kill all Jews in the area after his repeated requests to become a Rabbi were rejected. Unable to become a powerful Jewish leader, Mohammed created a false religion, plagiarized from Judaism, and riddled with Jewish hatred and violent edicts. Islam is, and has always been, a religion based on jealousy, violence, and hate.
That is untrue. The consistent position of Araby has been that all non-Muslims should stay and be productive, but have NO civil rights or political voice.
@@Asnoreastop being silly. The so called Palestinians want the annihilation of the Jews, because that is what their stupid prophet Muhammad told them, he instructed Muslims to slaughter every Jew and that the end of the world will not come until the kill every Jew on earth, in fact even nature will join in the massacre, if a Jew hides behind a tree, the tree will say oh Muslim there is a Jew hiding behind me. The only tree that won't do that is the granach or so tree, because it is a Jew tree. Isn't that stupid?

“If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel'” ~ Benjamin Netanyahu
"Benni" seems to do EVERYTHING to MOTIVATE the "Arabs" to want there to be "no more Israel". Funny how one of his predecessors, the same fellow, Menachem Begin, that oversaw the bombing of the King David hotel in the 1940s, was still able to reach a peace accord with Egypt, Israel's mortal enemy for about thirty years. "Benni" lacks Begin's pragmatism and willingness to negotiate. If, unfortunately, Israel goes under, they'll have Netanyahu to blame a great deal.

I didn’t look at the dates but yes, noting has changed since Genesis 17 when Hagar and Ishmael were sent into the desert by Abraham and God promising Hagar that Ishmael fate was secure and he too would be the father of many nations
I'm old enough to actually remember each of these events. As a young man it was easy to fall for the emotional manipulation used to portray Israel as the bad guy. This gets a lot harder when time after time their generous offers of peace are shunned. The terror inflicted over all these decades is hard to fathom. How the Jews persevere only God knows. Being in the right doesn't hurt either.
I’m with you on this. 50 years ago I felt different, but now it’s 75 years of the Palestinians creating war and accepting no peace terms. They’ve lost my sympathy.
The Jews were super hardened over the history obviously. But 2 million people being crammed in a isolated slum with no airport and being run by a fanatic group is not acceptable.
This is absolutely correct, I have watched this conflict all my life. Something that is so vivid in my memory is the Olympic attack in Munich, 1972. That event still tells me what community is in the wrong and even after that Israel tried for peace. Now, it is time for strength
I seriously doubt that you are old enough to remember the 1st event in1937, the Peel Commission Plan, about 86 years ago as of today. Possibly the1947 UN Partition and ensuing civil war. However, the terror, harassment, and violence against Zionist Jews by local Muslims predates the 1917 Balfour Declaration. Nearly every year a group of Muslims went on a murderous rampage somewhere in the region, and had to be stopped by the British authority.
Johann Lim they want 100% of THEIR land, which was grabbed and stolen by the zionist movement which is one created and practiced by thiefes and land grabbers, just read their books
In college I was in school with alot of students from Arab countries and Persia. They related that their countries did not want palastinian refugees as they tended to cause conflicts in the countries. Not my words theirs.
Perhaps they are not being taught any history I’ve watched on mini RUclips programs just basic questions. Where is Atlantic Ocean? Where is the Pacific Ocean? What’s north of the USA what country is south of Texas questions like that and yet we’ll ask foreigners these questions and they can answer it.
This video overlooks the obvious political manoeuvring behind accepting those partition deals by the Israelis. The zionist militias (haganah, irgun, stern gang) violently rejected those offers, and it was the politicians who knew that they would be able to frame it all as the Arabs fault that there was no peace. Clever diplomacy, and has worked on you. Just know they had no intention to ever keep to the partition deal, they knew it wasn't going to go through.
Maybe they could have mentioned that there is a history of Western countries 'forgetting' their deals with Arabic people...In 1917 Britain promised the entire arabic peninsula and north africa as a giant arab supernation in exchange for protest against the Ottomans - after that they divided the land between Britian and France. In 1939 once ww2 started the Brits promised to give all the land to the Arabs, as long as Jews were allowed to come in. With ww2 a huge amount of jews came, since the Arabs aloud it with the holocaust. After ww2 however, suddenly the deal was gone. Why do you think the Arabs don't trust Israel's 'deals'. Its commonly known that Israelis want the entirety of the land.
Even Hamas has offered Israel proposals for peace several times but Israel has rejected that. Timeline when Hamas offered Israel Peace Proposal: 1988: Just one year after the group was founded, Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar met the late top Israeli officials Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres, and proposed that Israel withdraw from the 1967-occupied territories in exchange for a truce. This was before Hamas had built its armed wing, the Qassam Brigades. Also, in 1988, Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmad Yasin himself indicated a willingness to negotiate with Israel under the condition that it “first acknowledge the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and right of return to their land”. 1994: Hamas offered a truce to Israel after the abduction and killing of Israeli soldier Nachshon Wachsman. A year earlier, the Palestinian Authority (PA) had accepted the proposal of a Palestinian state comprised of the West Bank, Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem. Hamas agreed to that proposal. 1995: Hamas again proposed a 10-year truce based on the same condition of Israeli withdrawal from occupied territories. 1996: In March, after Israel assassinated Hamas military leader Yahya Ayyash in January, the movement offered a ceasefire. 1997: September: Days before Israel attempted to assassinate Hamas political leader Khaled Meshaal in the Jordanian capital, Amman, the movement offered Israel a 10-year truce. October: After his release from Israeli prison, Hamas founder Yasin renewed the call for a ceasefire. November: Hamas again proposed a truce. The Qassam Brigades said attacks against Israeli civilians would stop if Israel stopped targeting Palestinian civilians. 1999: Yasin made another ceasefire offer provided Israel withdrew from the 1967 territories. In a letter to European diplomats, Hamas offered to cease all hostilities in exchange for Israeli withdrawal, evacuation of settlements, and release of Palestinian prisoners. 2003: In December, Yasin offered a ceasefire on the condition that Israel withdraw from the Palestinian territories. He was killed four months later in an Israeli attack. 2004: Yasin’s successor and Hamas co-founder Abdel Aziz al-Rantisi again proposed a 10-year truce. Israel killed him one month after Yasin. 2006: Hamas again offered a 10-year truce that would be “automatically renewed if [Israel] commits to restoring the full and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to them within a final solution that matches what is accepted by the PLO”. 2007: Senior Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh repeated the group’s call for a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders. 2008: Hamas leader Meshaal again offered a 10-year truce, which he repeated a year later. 2014: Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad offered a 10-year truce in exchange for the lifting of the Israeli blockade and release of Palestinian prisoners. 2015: Hamas proposed a long-term ceasefire in exchange for the lifting of the blockade. 2017: Hamas presented its revised charter announcing that it accepted a Palestinian state in the 1967 borders. They said "No" because the offer came from Israel and had the offer came from Palestine then Israel would've said "No", This is nothing more than playing with words and hiding half the sentence. UN resolution 181 was the original offer, but since then, Israel has broken nearly all UN resolutions, relating to land and aggression. If you break a UN resolution then military force can be used by the UN but the US vetoed this from happening, so Israel will do whatever it wants and grabbed more and more land.
@Fleece Johnson Israel would never accept because they would have to give equal rights which means Palestinians can vote and there are almost as much Palestinians as Israelis so they might get voted out and lose the control over the country
Nope Israel has its state and kept their victim card. Also Israel supported and started Hamas in attempt to divide the Palestinians between Arafat who was secular and brought openness to peace to the international table. If the state of Israel followed the same "rules of war" as its neighbors, they would still posses the Sinai Peninsula and may have occupied large portions of the Middle East by now. Significant portions of these occupied lands may have also been subject to "cleansing" where those who will not swear loyalty to the Jewish state, or perhaps even convert to Judaism, were summarily executed. Instead Israel shows more restraint than I believe the U.S. would in the same situation. Imagine if Ontario were occupied by militant secessionists who regularly used terrorist tactics and rocket attacks to get us to give the Great Lakes to them. We'd probably invade outright and treat every enemy combatant as a war criminal, like we did in Iraq. Then after the attacks of 9/11, things got complicated and 2 years later it was clear that Saddam Hussein could not be let in power anymore, especially in a time where the US launched a campaign against terrorism ( the US was attacked first but you already knew that ) so the US invaded Iraq, which left a lot of power vacuum, and led to the formation of the Islamic State of Iraq which later turned to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) after the Arab Spring when Lybia and Syria fell in to a civil war. doug harrison Izraelites are guilty of genocides against the palestines. Since 1967 over a half a million civilians were shot. In addition the middle east is far more complicated than this video shows. This video is fake news.
Dan Freeman I've watched it and several others. Both sides have done wrong but have both sides try to come to a solution? It's too far late for the Palestinians to want Israel out completely, the PLO need to get it together and Israel needs to stop pushing into Palestinian land. Time for real talk.
@DannyO Israel attacked Egypt in 1967 in response to Egyptian troops massed at their border and the closing of the Straits of Tiran to Israeli shipping. Did Egypt plan to attack? Why was it necessary for Israel to get "proof" that they planned to attack? How else should they respond with the Egyptian army massed at the border? Perhaps give them sandwiches? When the other Arab states joined the war to support Egypt, Israel (of course) responded against them as well.
@DannyO A division is generally defined as 15,000 combat troops and 8,000 support elements. So there were 46,000 members of the Egyptian military massed at Israel's border. Should Israel have waited for them to storm over the border? What was their purpose in being there? ...... The 1956 war followed Nasser's nationalizing of the Suez Canal. Britain and France wanted Nasser out of power and persuaded Israel to form a military alliance. Israel's participation had a lot to do with strengthening their ties with Britain and France.
But the thing is, if you lose a war with Israel, UK, or US, you eventual bargain for your sovereign state. If you loose to a dictatorship you get enslaved, and subjugated.

Ask the middle eastern Jews why the foreign Jew could never understand the arabs. The conflict isn’t religious, it’s cultural. My opinion.
"Palestine" is the name given to the Middle East by the Romans because it was the place where the Philistines lived.

“The Arabs never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity” , Abba Eban
Well said.
Of course I had to go look this up. After "peace talks" in 1973.

Even Hamas has offered Israel proposals for peace several times but Israel has rejected that.
Timeline when Hamas offered Israel Peace Proposal:
1988: Just one year after the group was founded, Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar met the late top Israeli officials Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres, and proposed that Israel withdraw from the 1967-occupied territories in exchange for a truce.

Its because Israel took land in 67 and didn't give it back so they consider Israel a Zionist entity than a country that sticks to its UN borders like every other .

Religion of Peace. Never seem a sign of that in 60 years I've been alive. Can't find a trace of it in history. Islam, born by the sword and fermented in hatred is the largest threat to mankind we have ever known.
Islam is a product for uniting all the arab tribes at the time to conquer other cultures as romans greeks persians did.
You must know that The arab tribes before the creation of Islam is way more violent
the teachings of Muhammad slightly reduced the degree of violence of the arabs.
The biggest problem of Islam is that It doesn't change to adapt itself to the changes of the society meanwhile Christians changed a lot in near 2000 years.
It is unfortunate that it was also combined with the Middle Eastern culture , which is where the "honor killing" of girls comes from , one of the most violent and backwards Tribalism cultures anywhere which practised slavery and sex slavery and polygamy as a cultural norm and one of the last places on earth where it still exists today. OriginalKarasu Middle east was very peaceful before America and the West began waging wars
@@itsanevilworld5570 umm no, the US was involved in those wars but not militarily, the Iranian revolution changed the course of things, the first time US got truly militarily involved themselves was in 1991 after Saddam Hussein conquered Kuwait and wanted to go on with Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile in some Eastern African states war was still going on because of corrupt dictatorships and terrorism.
I tried to explain in the shortest way possible but the topic is way bigger and more complicated. But the Middle East was constantly at war even before the US got involved in it, sometimes because of the circumstances and sometimes because the region is populated by radical religious people which makes conflicts there arise and escalate pretty quickly.

its literally in the video. 2:55
@DannyO you mean preemptive strike?
Cus they had Intel on Egypt bases going full operational for war
@DannyO Israel attacked Egypt in 1967 in response to Egyptian troops massed at their border and the closing of the Straits of Tiran to Israeli shipping. Did Egypt plan to attack? Why was it necessary for Israel to get "proof" that they planned to attack? How else should they respond with the Egyptian army massed at the border? Perhaps give them sandwiches? When the other Arab states joined the war to support Egypt, Israel (of course) responded against them as well.
They should keep it.
The Arabs attacked. They should pay
And people wonder why they have walls
The Palestinians have lost war after war, but still act as if they have authority and power.
yep. dont know when to call it quits.
More accurately the Arab states lost about 4 wars with Israel. And now it's just the Palestinians, and various extremists, versus Israel.

Israel never offered the Palestinians the state they want - which is the State of Palestine. This offer would require no State of Israel within the land of Palestine. From the bal4 declaration: "...nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine." The Israeli settler's violation of this stipulation in the declaration invalidates their justification to settle in Palestine.
Tell them to move to Seattle.
Hahahahahahaha 👏👏👏👏
Nobody should have to move anywhere! Why can't we all just peacefully share and protect this earth?

I usually don't agree with your views but I think this is spot on. I wish the EU would pressure the Arabs too.
And why so? Because they wish to have their lands back? What gives them the right to pressure other people
@@ColonelSpirit
By that logic, turkey should be given to Greece. The Jews have established themselves and gained legitimacy through war victories. The only solution is a compromise.
Why??? Israel can just force themselves into land and take it for free? Could i go into a house under constructions, steal the appliances, and then get mad when i offer to give back half of the stolen goods AND THEN expect the police to pressure the house owners of the now built house to accept our deal with no compensation?
@@ColonelSpirit The land doesn't belong to the Arabs though. The kingdom of isreal predates Palestine
@@ColonelSpiritwhat is your solution? Israel isn't leaving, the entire world could shun it, and it will just get worse, but not stop existing, it can't be destroyed in direct fight, because nukes.
What is your solution, if a country isn't good enough?
I did actually know this and am frustrated at most people's ignorance of history!! Starting when I was 10 years old (61 years ago) and found a children's book called "To Build A Land" in our school's mobile library, I have been intrigued by Israel's history. But even after all this time, and even events in recent history, I am dismayed at the ignorance spouted in ordinary life, never mind what the media and politicians say. Please keep up the good work of this education and I hope lots more people watch this video.
We just need to get people to read the Old Testament - it's all there.
there's a lot more to this conflict, and also PragerU isn't even a real university.
Two women came to King Solomon, each claiming to be the mother of a baby boy. Solomon proposed to cut the baby in half, giving each woman a half. The true mother refused, while the other woman agreed to the division. Solomon then declared the woman who refused as the true mother, demonstrating his wisdom.
That's not wisdom that's common sense
@@REDACTED-05I think, The Wisdom is King Solomon asking the question, not him knowing who is who
As an Israeli, I do not think we need to justify ourselves to anyone.
the facts are that every war all arab countrys teamed up to attack a new born country and we had won.
the palestinians are lucky to be alive, if it was the other way around we wouldnt be.
@محمد الجابري it isn't war crimes if it isn't a war, palestine isnt a country therfore it isnt a war and therfore it isnt war crimes, whatever the hell you accuse us of doing
@Copy you're telling me that the ancient kingdom of judea has no legitimacy ? but you support fantasies so their is no point debating you with facts and logic
@Copy go learn history and see who was in the holy land 2000 years ago.
matan Your Right of Return is a remarkable paradox. European and American, even converted Jews, are ok to go back to the land. But indigenous people who never left, but were scared out, can not. You’re either a hypocrite or delusional.
Agreed. You don’t need to justify yourself, but keep complaining the Palestinians don’t recognize Israel.
Your country cries about potentially being annihilated, while having steamrolled an indigenous peasant population in a most calculated way.
Your country has spent a lot of time demonizing arabs after storming into the Middle East, and wonders why there is conflict. Ask the middle eastern Jews why the foreign Jew could never understand the arabs. The conflict isn’t religious, it’s cultural. My opinion.
"Palestine" is the name given to the Middle East by the Romans because it was the place where the Philistines lived. The Romans didn't conquer the nation of Palestine, since there was no nation of Palestine. The followers of Mohammed who, by the way, took the area and converted the resident populations at the point of a sword, were thus known as "Palestinians."
Actually, Palestinians was also used to refer to jews living in the levant area now occupied by the Romans, before Muslims even existed.
@@magnumopus1628 you're right

Jews are more generous they ought to be. Land was almost vacant until Jews started to return and repopulate. Temple site was a garbage dump at one point. There were never Palestinian nation until Jew return; Palestinians today are Jordanian, Lebanese and Syrian Arab transplants of last century. It should be Israel only, with Jews and Arabs living in peace, as Israeli citizens, as they did for thousands of years in this natural multi-ethnic region.
Or tell the Palestinians to leave and go to any of the other neighboring Islamic states 🙄
@@jetsfan1019 why should they leave a place that they've made home? Whether they came their from other places or not. Why cant they live in peace?
@@TheDerpyDog
The only country in the world where ANYONE can live in and call it home is the United States of America. We are unique in that aspect. I wish it was like that everywhere but it’s not and it won’t ever seem to be. It’s a very complicated matter that none of us can solve. We’re just lucky that the USA exists and we can call it home. In fact so many people that are persecuted from around the world want to come here and I think we should let them we have a lot of space here
@@jetsfan1019 Many arabs like being Israeli citizens. Complaints is military presence in west bank because of decades of terrorist attacks, it annoys people who can care less who is in power. Statehood was offered multiple times to "palestinians", they declined cause they want entire territory, and with large israeli population in west bank, I think they missed their chance, now might as well annex as they planned to do it after 6 day war. At least it gives arabs normal government, great economy, citizenship rights, social security net and etc.
@@lvr7432 where do you think I got this from? I wasn't alive during WW1.
"We will only have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us." Golda Meir
In my opinion, this cannot be fixed.
They’re two utterly unreconcilable positions.
Yes, Palestinians want to kill all of the Jews and Jews want to live. Jews are so demanding that way.
So the side which deliberately launches unguided rockets against civilians and deliberately beheads babies needs to fade from history.
Jesus Christ as Savior is the answer.
To no question ever
If the arabs took the 80% offer in the 2 state solution decades ago israel would have nothi g to do with them( if they don't attack isreal offcourse)
If hamas is destroyed snd gaza rebuild the education has to be normal and not aimed at hate and terror.
The government has to be pro israel or at least accept israel is there . If the 2 million people are de radicilized it can be done, 50% is kids so that is easy if unrah doesn't educate them
