- Returning to Kembel, the Doctor, Sara and Steven discover the Dalek base has been abandoned and that the leaders of the alliance have been imprisoned. This episode is missing from the archives.
The penultimate episode of the mammoth Daleks' Master Plan serial reconstructed here with action figures. I'm so pleased that everyone enjoyed my episode 12 'Destruction of time' upload so I decided to reconstruct episode 11 also. I hope you all enjoy this project too. It would mean so much if you could like, comment or subscribe as this has been another huge project for me and to see that people have enjoyed it would mean so much.
This episode of Daleks' Master Plan is fascinating for a number of different reasons. For starters, William Hartnell is noticeably absent after the first couple of minutes of the episode. Many would fairly assume that this was just a scheduled holiday for Hartnell as would often happen however, this doesn't seem to be the case here and his random disappearance has puzzled fans ever since. One possible theory is that Hartnell's birthday was around the day of filming so perhaps he was given the day off for this. However this seems very unlikely as Hartnell wasn't even allowed a day off during the filming of 'The Myth Makers' to attend his beloved auntie's funeral. This episode is also of interest to fans as it features the delegates who seem to change with every appearance! Although Sentreal, the large dark delegate, was featured in this reconstruction, most evidence agrees that he was not in fact present in this episode, which makes sense considering he does not appear in episode two of Daleks' Master Plan 'Day of Armageddon'. I always try to keep my reconstructions as accurate as possible but I decided to include Sentreal here simply because everyone loves his design! I already had a figure of him and so I felt it would be a shame not to include him here. I hope you all enjoy this reconstruction!
This will likely be my last missing episode reconstruction as I want to focus on more original stories for the First Doctor. I hope you have all enjoyed them as much as I have enjoyed making them. There will probably not be any more videos on this channel for some time unfortunately as I am entering a very busy time of life. I will miss making Doctor Who videos deeply but one day, I shall come back, yes! One day...
