Nurburgring, not really. Yes, it is awesome but Laguna Seca Raceway, Monza, Brands Hatch and many more are technically hard and super fun once you master them. If you like speed and own Asetto Corsa, try Highlands Track. 8152 meters long.

@@Wings_of_foam I know it well. That epic downhill back straight is the spot to test any car's top speed.
You are driving just fine BUT you are losing time because you wanna look cool with those drifts :D You can improve your time without drifts in those tarmac areas.
Yeah, true. Especially in real life they stay a lot more clean on the tarmac. In the game it's not really a difference in laptime. Problem is if you are more clean on the tarmac, the guys behind you divebomb. But it also depends on set-up, driving style, the car, etc.
@@JorritVD Its the game physics too they cant fix the road in rally cross making it too slipper like drifting in every corner just to turn they said it will affect the ai lel
Sorry for dumb question.. But where/how (links) to find / host multiplayer for this? I only see one person hosting, and that for Rally. Not track race like the video..
Thanks, it was one of first real tries with the Megane. It is mega quick, but the big difference is that it has five gears, so gearing is a bit different compared to other Supercars around the track.
@1:43 I had no idea you could get away with that without a penalty. I thought what gave you a penalty was having all 4 wheels out of the track through a corner. Apparently I know nothing!
What an earth determines how many AI characters will be racing against you in rallycross. You never know until you pull up to the starting line because some move forward while some do not!
I guess you are not familiar with Rallycross or DiRT Rally 2.0. So in DiRT Rally 2.0 you can do a custom session online or offline. Offline has just AI players, while online you have ofcourse real players with the possibility to also add AI drivers. In a full race format you start with qualifying races. During that there are 5 cars starting next to each other. Who sets the fastest time gets the most points. After the four qualifying races the top 12 drivers (top 8 with online with only real drivers). will go to the semi-final. Then there is a grid formation. Two cars for each row. The top 3 of each semi goes to the final, where also will be a grif formation with two cars on each of the three rows. Winner of the events is who wins the final. Though championship points is being given after the qualiying stage (4 quali races), the semi-final and final. So who wins not automatically means it got the most championship points over the whole weekend. -------------- Over the last decades and different championships there have been some different formats: - C / B / A Finals - LCQ (mostly american championships) - 8 car semi-finals and finals. - Double headers (two events in one weekend) or one day events tend to have 3 quali races instead of 4) - 3 semi-finals with the top 2 of each semi going to the final.
@@JorritVD I watch rallycross recreationally and I've been playing dirt rally since its first edition however I don't know the details of the sport as there are a shocking amount. I bought a rural Farm property some years ago so I've been playing entirely offline ever since I picked this game up and when I setup a custom race and choose final from the menu it displays a full lineup of AI cars yet a random amount of them pull up to the start line and actually race. Sometimes they all pull up and sometimes as few as to pull up alongside me for the custom final. I virtually always pick four laps on a custom final and drive the Peugeot 206 This could have been the greatest racing game ever but the AI cars are wildly overweight so you get smashed around like a ping pong ball... I can only guess that they were trying to deincentivize contact. What a shame they didn't let you customize tracks and blast your way through the pack like a maniac in an arcade mode
with "custom event" you can create an online event. There is a setting you can say if the session is offline or also available online. You then can also turn of the AI. with "find game" you can search an online session.
Spa is great.
Imola... classic track.
Nurburgring... Everyone's dream course...
But HELL is where I've always wanted to race.
Fun fact,, Here in Michigan we have a town named "hell"

Sometimes its better to hold revs at around 6000 rpm as it reduces wheel spin at the start.
I agree. Sometimes it better not to drift too much and control the pace by gas pedal without breaking

Yeah, the first one is a real classic. A game changer :)
You might have a slightly rose tinted helmet visor there, but I get it. Good times back in the mid 90's :)

😎 nice ,( a little faster ) 👍
Is this the best camera view for driving? Is cockpit view harder?
with a controller for it is. than i have a better feeling of what the car is doing. with a wheel its better to do a cockpit camera.
Nice video
How can i play with my friends? I created a championship they were in my lobby but then i played with bots i dont understand
Same
When you set-up a lobby, in the settings (championship settings I believe) you can turn on/off the AI.

How do I start racing online in drit 2.0 and is it still playable?

Is there a steering wheel only mode for online competitions? :D
No but, there is a manual shift mode that forces everyone to shift.
