You explained this topic 50x more clearly than anyone else I have seen. Thank you!

This was really well expalined. You mentioned you would publish a video regarding many-to-many relationships (the creation of junction objects?) but wasn't able to find anything. Is that available somewhere? Thanks for your help.

Hi John, I'm glad you like the video. Thanks for watching! Take a look at this video on Junction Objects. It explains how to create those many to many relationships. ruclips.net/video/JtAlVX1q2PI/видео.html

Here is the main stumbling block in my business when want record clients or customers data.
I would like to learn how to create a new field in Salesforce lead.

Hey Hounna, the process is very similar to what you see in the video. Go to Setup > Object Manager > Lead > Fields & Relationships and then click new field in the upper right. Hope that helps!

how to Default value for this field and type of field is lookup?

You can't set a default value for a lookup field in the field's settings, but you can create a Before Save Flow (also known as a Fast Field Updates record triggered flow). This will let you set a default value for that lookup with a lot of flexibility around how it decides what value to put there.

Thank you. I have a really dumb question, but if you are looking up to the Contact object, how does it know what field within the Contact Object you’re looking up to? That is, isn’t Contact the object and not necessarily the field? Like why wouldn’t it be Contact > Contact Name as the look up?
When you opened the video you mentioned its a relationship between records , but is really records? Or the Object? Sorry I’m very literal. lol thank you for the excellent content

Not a dumb question at all! A lookup field from one record to another contains the ID of the record it's looking up to. That's an 18 character string of letters an numbers. But, Salesforce displays the name of the record to us on the page layout because that's more useful than a unique ID. This record name is either a text value like Account Name or an autonumber like Case Number.
To create a lookup field or any field you do have to go to Object Manager, but ultimately the lookup is allowing you to relate to records. You just have to choose the object at the time of creating the lookup. Then you can relate one record to any record of that object (unless you restrict options with a filter). Does that help clear it up?
