    This instructional video is a good foundational explanation on how to use props for people who are not challenged with lower back issues. A modification to forward folding for those with lower back issus - do not arch the back but tilt the pelvic girdle, lock your bandhas and let your hands lead you down the legs while sitting on a bolster. Do not use a strap to lower the body while pulling on the strap. This pulls on the shoulders in a way that can cause discomfort to the neck. You can also support the calves of the legs on blocks while flexing the ankles to get more of a hamstring release.

    Is this the “lean” or the “rectangular” bolster?

      This is the rectangular - our larger bolster.
