Honestly, I’m glad they listened to audience criticism and did their best to fix the problems the 2019 film had, since this was *definitely* an improvement. 😅
@ Mainly to do with the movie looking too stale and not “lively” despite it being live action. So, I guess the people BTS listened to the feedback, hence why there are different environments and the facial expressions are better here.
i feel like it could have been better but i really enjoyed myself. I love the music, the characters were alright (i see no issue with Taka and Mufasa not being blood brothers, i don't get why so many are against that?) It felt like a broadway musical and after wish? I needed that return
All of those generic arguments critics use these days has truly lost it's meaning. Like make your own movies if you're so petty all the time. This was a really good time to re-visit the lion king IP again. The ending was really cute and if this really is the end for now, then this ending felt quite satisfying.
I saw the movie, it was absolutely NOTHING what people was talking about, it was an new emotional disney classic (not 2d animated but still great and epic cuz the characters have emotion), i felt the old disney ghost talking to me with this movie, and when the movie ended, i moved out from the theaters thinking "HOW?!? HOW PPL HATED THIS MOVIE??!?" I really think some critic youtubers or movie critics in general are being paid to hate on this movie, or are just following the hate trend to have more likes and subscribers from toxic Sonic fanboys which is really disgusting if you ask me....
Nah they should’ve made Scar SNAP snap. Cause in The Lion King he’s a narcissist psychopath with no remorse lmaooo. They really wasted an epic opportunity of storytelling there
Honestly, some of the complaints about this movie were really obnoxious and repetitive to the point that it got on my nerves. To the point that I started considering watching it to form my own opinion. At best, it would probably be okay, but if I don't like it, it won't be the end of the world.
I agree sometimes people bash/praise something so much, then I watch it and I have a complete different experience than them. I truly recommend it! I was dragged to watch it, haha. And I was surprised that it was good, obv not like the original Lion King, but it feels like there is passion behind it, I mean Lil Manuel Miranda participated so...
It's really good, hon. When Disney finally gets it right, it should be acknowledged and praised. But these days it's edgy and popular to bash Disney live-action films, and a lot of people also do it for views.
This was a great movie. The thumbnail said “you should give it a chance”, and I agree. Most of the haters I think are judging it pretty unfairly just because it’s tied to the 2019 version. They seem to think that just because they thought the 2019 version was bad, that automatically makes this bad. That’s absurd and that’s not fair.
I feel the Sonic 3 vs Mufasa debates are getting toxic. I haven't watched the Sonic franchise and will certainly watch it now to prepare for Sonic 3 but still I feel like these debates are becoming pretty toxic. I was excited for Mufasa after the trailers but the reviews have been disheartening. Hopefully I enjoy it.
Were doing a double feature, because why cant we like both? Both animation eye candy and nostalgia hit. I agree the debates are tiring. I wish it could be seen like barbenheimer
Watched it yesterday and I can only say this: Ignore the critics score. This was such a fun and emotional movie to watch! A really nice addition to the Lion King universe and in many ways better than the remake. There were 2 - 3 things where I personally wished that they would have happened in a different way but besides of that really really satisfied. - A fun adventurous story - A lot of wise words from our favorite mandrill (and he's no baboon!) - Beautiful african flair - Fun new songs and an epic orchestral score - Some really emotional moments which even made me tear up - The third act is just epic and quite action packed - Known and beloved characters are getting more depth and I love them even more now (and don't worry, we don't have an Episode 8 Luke Skywalker character destruction with Mufasa here or anything. Really the opposite is the case. Respectful handling with all of them) - Kiara is to cute to handle - I think there isn't one new character that I didn't liked. Was even surprised how much I liked Obasi at the end since he seemed to be a total ** at first - I loved the villains - Yes, the animals are REALLY expressive this time - Amazing CGI and landscapes again. Loved all the different biomes I can only pledge to all of you to give this movie a chance. This one doesn't deserve to flop. It deserves to be a success. More than any remake. Thank you, Barry Jenkins! Giving this movie a 8/10 right now because of the 2 - 3 things that I would have liked a bit differently. But I will go up to a 9 after I'm getting used to them after some rewatches.
@@silashurd3597 I think it's both. While the haters are mostly only annoying the critics can actually really prevent people from going to watch this with their in my opinion overly harsh reviews and critic score on both Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. I can see where they are coming from with some points but all in all their criticism feels really exaggerated to me and almost none of their points really disturbed me that much during my watch at all to give this movie a rotten rating or such. Hoping for a much higher audience score but looking at the first reviews on Rotten Tomatoes it already looks excellent!
what really made me happy was A. the soundtrack and B. the fact Disney ACTUALLY added a villain. I personally went into this watching it solely because Mads Mikkelsen is in it, and I’m a HUGE fan of his, plus it was his first time ever singing a full song. I’m super glad to say it was great. Finding out the soundtrack was written by Lin Manuel Miranda. I do think the plot was lacking, and yes, the plot is obviously a major part of any film. But the music, world building, scenery, animation, and acting blew me away. Hopefully it’s a sign Disney is going to start trying again.
People have PTSD over "Live Action Remakes " from Disney, which fair. But this isnt a live-action remake. Its a new story and dare I say a cgi animation and not live-action. Think people are tossing out these terms willy nilly not fully realizing what they are saying and what Disney is actually doing with this Lion King installment. The Animations are their own thing, the CGI Lion King is doing its own thing borrowing from the franchise. Its not meant to be a 1:1 just like the Broadway Musical isn't a 1:1. With that out of the way, people need to give this one a honest chance and not piss on it for following the crowd. We got new music from Lebo M which we NEEDED in the 2019 one, the animation and background are eye candy, the story fills in some interesting holes from the original and its neat to see how the characters got from A-B. There is alot here to just pass up. I really hope people look past their biasas for this one because man, I'm so tired of the hate around these films.
Fair point! It’s more along the lines of movies like Dinosaur in that regard. I think the reflex is to call it “live-action” is because the 2019 remake followed the pattern of retreading old films but in a live-action style. People defaulted to calling it live action because it was realistic, and I was guilty of assuming that’s how *Disney* was labelling it. In fact, that assumption was why I just stopped actively watching these remakes. I defaulted to thinking “okay, they’re not even TRYING.” That’s why people have lost a lot of faith in Disney IMO. We see the realistic style attached to a nostalgic property and jump to the conclusion there’s no effort being put forth. But hey, maybe Mufasa is the exception here!
Is not about hating on the movie, it's about the movie disrespecting the original animation movies, the fact that the live version is saying that Mufasa and Scar aren't actual brothers go against the whole plot of the first movie, when the actual fact is that they are brothers and there's a whole truth origin story to Mufasa and Scar that was in a animation show, Because of this live version now for the people who don't know the truth storyline of Mufasa and Scar are now getting confused when someone tells them all about the animation show of Mufasa and Scar real background storyline, It's not about people hating on a live version it's about why the hell have they changed what made Lion king's story so much beloved and learning what the storyline was all about with Scar trying to kill his brother and his Nephew Simba only for now that the live version is saying that the animation movies are wrong because they not actual brothers, it makes the point of the original not making sense if your going off from the live version, That's like Disney wanting to change star wars where Luke and Vader aren't really father and son, because Luke is adopted, it dosen't make sense dose it? 🙄 The story was already made for them, why change it, am sorry but the live version are always going to be trash no matter what, which is a shame because I did like the idea of the live versions but they changed what made the storyline that it was!!!
Exactly, the remake went to the direction that remove all the magic from an animation film especially for the lion King. Mufasa fixed all the problems, even included an amazing villain song!
It was a colossal improvement from the 2019 remake! I was certainly invested into the story and was actually happy to have a proper VILLAIN again with Kiros! I seldom take critics reviews of movies as gospel. The opinions of the people are more important and I think everyone will agree that Mufasa, while not perfect, is a very good story. One that I’m definitely going back to watch again!
I've been a fan of all things Lion King for years (Besides the 2019 remake) and I really enjoyed this movie! The movie is already getting review bombed which I think it unfair, mainly by the toxic side of the Sonic Fandom. Why not just enjoy both films? I'm excited to see Sonic 3 as well.
THIS I’ve noticed that a lot of Sonic 3 fans were very toxic and hateful towards this movie during the trailers. I don’t like how they’re treating this as a competition. I don’t think anybody truly saw these films as competitors except for toxic Sonic 3 fans
You say that your a fan of the original animation movies? Then why are so confused to why people aren't liking the live versions, you should know that answer if your a fan of the original animation movies, Or should I remind you??
@@jolight3040 I get what you’re saying, and initially I wasn’t too keen on the idea that they weren’t related by blood. However I went in with an open mind and actually enjoyed how it was done. Of course the original animated versions are better, but I don’t think this film should be bashed in the manner it has been. I more see this film in the timeline of the 2019 remake canon instead of the 1994 version. Different versions of canon, especially since in The Lion Guard, Scar got his scar in a different way. That, and the hyenas in the 2019 version had different names, I consider it all separate from original canon. I hope that makes sense. When I think of it this way, it makes me enjoy the 2019 remake a bit more, but it still is never going to top the original.
@Tstyle715 honestly am glad you enjoyed it, because am not a person who trying to stop anyone from enjoying things, and if you can separate the two versions then that's good on you, but me and to a lot of others who don't like it, the reason stay the same that the live version gose against and disrespects the actual storyline, and am glad that you can see what am saying, Has I mentioned to you Disney could remake the whole plot of Star wars where Luke and Vader aren't really father and son and it could be made as a whole better movie but I still would hate on something no matter how good it was if it didn't sick to what it is, I do like the idea of the live versions but I will not accept anything that completely changes a storyline of something original, because if you can accept that you don't mind the storyline being changed completely, then what's the point of even watching a movie trying to tell you a storyline if it can be changed in the future? This live version storyline pointless to even you if say someone else in 50 years or 100 years.. decides to completely changed the storyline again.. Maybe in the future remake of the remake , Simba''s name is changed or maybe the whole Lion king is changed to The lion Queen and it's more about a female side storyline then to a male's one, maybe they have a storyline of a female lioness against her evil brother, or aka not brother but step brother 🙄 but yeah anyways am not here to stop anyone from enjoy things, only that they is a real reason why a lot don't like the live versions because they treasure the original storyline and for someone to come and change that storyline completely has an emotional effect on what you learnt for that story to be.., This why people don't like race swapping characters like Disney do with the little mermaid.. which is also trash, When a storyline has been made to be one thing, you can not change it or the characters to be something else once the world accepts what that story is all about, this why a lot won't accept any changes even if the movies are good, you can make new characters and have a new plot for a character, same with the storyline.. I don't care about the live version of the lion king, Mufasa and Scar are brothers they always have been and always will be, and the live version can go against the original instead of honouring it, because the original animation movies storyline was already they first.
I feel the same, I feel like I'm the crazy one here I genuinely loved this movie and want to go watch it again and again, I can't wait until it's released on disney+ but everyone keeps groaning and ranting about how they "changed" TLK's story but I fully disagree. I don't care if you don't agree but you're allowed to make an AU of your story and that's really what the TLK fandom has always been about. I'm an artist who grew up on art sites and forums and watching people recreating the story with their art, making AUs and "what ifs?" also taking the books while I know are not canon, taking bits of it and mixing it with the og story. I've been loving TLK since I was 6 and I'm 36 now, this story is so special to me and I could never hate anything about it.

Right I'm extremely critical of Disney, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. I think I could've done without the framing device they used, but it was a lot better. I just think they couldve spent more time on Scar becoming more bitter and showing more forshadowing because it seemed a bit drastic when he betrayed Mufasa.
Thank you for the adequate review. RUclips strangely continues to recommend videos mocking the movie. I hope that after this, it will recommend something appropriate.
I saw Mufasa last night (opening Thursday), and I really like it! Facial expressions were upgraded, the score is awesome, and the characters are intriguing. I'll agree that the villain song "Bye Bye" is unexpected, but I find it a little funny how Kiros, an undeniably scary lion, says bye-bye in an almost lighter tone than how he usually speaks. I'd argue that while Mufasa choosing to keep Scar in Melele can come across as foolish, it's an example of Mufasa being understanding and kind to a fault. His attempts to ask the elephant herd for help at the canyon is proof. I appreciate how this movie approached Taka's descent into Scar. It's all his own choice. It wasn't a case of Maleficent where he was a victim or justified in his actions. This movie used a lot of what the 2019 remake, which I love, set up in dialog, and I love it. Are we going to talk about how this movie potentially set up Kion from The Lion Guard?
But it's not normal that Mufasa took everything Taka wanted, first of all he knew that Taka loved Sarabi he even helped him but ended up stealing his crush and becoming king when it was Taka's biggest dream to become king and he expected Taka not to say anything??? No wonder in the previous film he was very arrogant in front of him
@okariolu1584 1. Mufasa did everything but yell at Sarabi to give Taka credit and glory. At the point of their song, Sarabi sees through Myfasa's lies and wants him to admit it. In this film and Lion King 2019, Sarabi CHOSE Mufasa over Taka. 2. Mufasa didn't take kingship, it was given to him by the inhabitants of Melele. Mufasa initially rebuked them until Rafiki stepped in. Taka could've claimed kingship or challenged Mufasa then and there, but he didn't. He asked Mufasa for forgiveness and then acknowledged him as "your majesty."
On that last point: I don’t see how the Roar of Elders would fit into that, but perhaps they can work Kion into “Simba’s Pride”, if they are thinking of doing a remake of that.
This movie is absolute cinema. My friend conviced me to watch with him but I had 0 expectations, fast forward, I almost cried and found myself clapping at the end
After Mufasa: The Lion King I wonder if the Disney film makers are planning to make the version of The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride in the future because I would like to see Kovu make an appearence at last in the live action but I wonder how it would work out with Kiara's new brother Kion made his appearence at the end of that movie.
Honestly I think Mufasa wanted to give Scar a second chance, they’re family and in the end Scar came back and helped save the day, and after awhile Mufasa decided not to forgive Scar but put the past behind them for their family but Scsr continues to sue in the past and plot his take over
Was it better than sonic 3? Sonic 3 sucked and was disappointed with how long the movie was dragging out. I have low expectations for mufasa but I'll give it a chance
No no no 😂 The movie fail because.., Is not about hating on the movie, it's about the movie disrespecting the original animation movies, the fact that the live version is saying that Mufasa and Scar aren't actual brothers go against the whole plot of the first movie, when the actual fact is that they are brothers and there's a whole truth origin story to Mufasa and Scar that was in a animation show, Because of this live version now for the people who don't know the truth storyline of Mufasa and Scar are now getting confused when someone tells them all about the animation show of Mufasa and Scar real background storyline, It's not about people hating on a live version it's about why the hell have they changed what made Lion king's story so much beloved and learning what the storyline was all about with Scar trying to kill his brother and his Nephew Simba only for now that the live version is saying that the animation movies are wrong because they not actual brothers, it makes the point of the original not making sense if your going off from the live version, That's like Disney wanting to change star wars where Luke and Vader aren't really father and son, because Luke is adopted, it dosen't make sense dose it? 🙄 The story was already made for them, why change it, am sorry but the live version are always going to be trash no matter what, which is a shame because I did like the idea of the live versions but they changed what made the storyline that it was!!!
@ I asked my 9 year old son if the fact that Taka and Mufasa were not real brothers bothered him… Sorry to disappoint you, but he didn’t care about that at all.
I’ve seen this movie twice in two days. My favorite songs are “I’ve Always Wanted A Brother” and “Tell Me It’s You”. I was repeatedly listening to those two songs over and over for days, which made me excitedly curious about this movie. I also agree that I don’t like Kiros’s song “Bye Bye”; I find it a unsettling when he even says that. Also you’re forgetting the dedication to the original voice Mufasa himself; when I heard James Earl Jones passed away, I thought: “When this new movie comes out, there had better be a shout out to him.” Sure enough, they must have had time to add that dedication at the last possible moment before it could be released. I appreciated seeing that! Honestly, I never understand what those critics are talking about; this movie was good. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
just watched it the other day, Loved it. some of the songs were a little silly, but the heart and soul i’ve missed so much from disney movies was there. I LOVE MUFASA as a character and now love his story. ❤
Tbh It is nice to see a positive review for once, most reviews I have seen have been mixed to negative and in all honesty I still want to check it out for myself because truthfully when it comes to movies, you should never go by what others always say, there are movies people like that plenty of reviewers especially the popular movie reviewers have said "do not bother" for, overall its best to form your own opinion. At first I was disheartened to hear the negativity especially since I was hoping it would gain a more positive reaction and reviews, because then it would have shown that perhaps people were being too harsh on the movie and show "don't judge a book by its cover" and also decrease this whole "Sonic 3 vs Mufasa rivalry" thing which I think really is just breeding so much toxicity and is really unnecessary especially the use of the constant redundant criticism "nobody asked for this" which really people are always using that for every movie they do not like, it holds no merit. I love Sonic but honestly this whole "rivalry" thing people keep doing between them is ridiculous at this point. I see why the Sonic fanbase is regarded as being one of the most toxic fanbases out there. Overall I am gonna give it a watch myself and form my own opinion.
Yeah it's good to make up your mind, and am not here to stop you from doing so, but you believe that some people are just hating on it for no reason, trust me I was all for the live version and am not against it not being a good movie, but here's the reason why no matter how good it is it's always going to trash because The reason is that Is not about hating on the movie, it's about the movie disrespecting the original animation movies, the fact that the live version is saying that Mufasa and Scar aren't actual brothers go against the whole plot of the first movie, when the actual fact is that they are brothers and there's a whole truth origin story to Mufasa and Scar that was in a animation show, Because of this live version now for the people who don't know the truth storyline of Mufasa and Scar are now getting confused when someone tells them all about the animation show of Mufasa and Scar real background storyline, It's not about people hating on a live version it's about why the hell have they changed what made Lion king's story so much beloved and learning what the storyline was all about with Scar trying to kill his brother and his Nephew Simba only for now that the live version is saying that the animation movies are wrong because they not actual brothers, it makes the point of the original not making sense if your going off from the live version, That's like Disney wanting to change star wars where Luke and Vader aren't really father and son, because Luke is adopted, it dosen't make sense dose it? 🙄 The story was already made for them, why change it, am sorry but the live version are always going to be trash no matter what, which is a shame because I did like the idea of the live versions but they changed what made the storyline that it was!!!
@anakarolyna1999 okay if you don't mind a storyline being changed then what's the point of even you watching a movie? if say later on someone else changes that story and now anything that you thought you knew now means nothing?? So your logic is that say if Disney was to change the storyline of Star wars where Luke and Vader aren't really father and son and Luke is adopted, that's fine with you 🤔 Why even bother telling people what a storyline is all about or what the characters are..,because to you that dosen't mean anything because it fine with you to change it?? No the problem is that you can't change a story plot when it's already been knew to people around the world to what that storyline is all about,, This why you cannot just race swap characters like Disney do, You can make up new storylines and new characters for different story but can never change something that already exists, has I said to you what's the point of even watching a movie if your happy for it to be changed?? The live version dosen't honour the original it disregards and disrespects the actual storyline, Mufasa and Scar are brothers they always have been and always will be brothers , that's the plot to the whole Lion king story!!
I don't mind the cool settings so much. It’s clear they put work into that. I just don't think CGI will ever be able to capture the emotion and movements of the 2D animated characters. Actual lions don't have that many facial expressions, and facial expressions are part of what makes the characters seem alive and awake. Without that they just look like… lions, and they lose that “animals who are just like humans” vibe.
Thats why Berry Jenkins has made this film more animation-like. When you see Kiara or any of the Lions they EMOTE! My theater made A FEW "AWWWWW"s, when Kiara was on screen, because her FACIAL EXPRESSIONS where so sweet/sad/happy/hopeful/etc. Any time you could see exacly what the Lion was thinking and that is awesome!
Honestly, I thought this movie was pretty good. Was there room for improvement? Well yeah, of course. And it was dedicated to James Earl Jones - and that's a pretty big thing to live up too. And while there were a few things that would have made the movie better, I still enjoyed watching it, and I consider it to be a good enough prequel story to the Lion King franchise. I've always wanted to see the story of Mufasa and Scar, and how brothers practically became mortal enemies. And while I would have prefered traditional 2D animation for this movie, I'll admit that the facial features were an improvement than the typical blank expressions from the other Disney live action remakes when it comes to animals. And having a pride of white lions was a good idea, because they were beautiful to watch. Also, most of the songs were pretty catchy; my favorite probably being the one with Mufasa and Sarabi. How Mufasa was portrayed as flawed but still grew to become brave, kind, and smart...that I really enjoyed. And how Mufasa made all the animals find their courage and practically formed their new way of life...also really good. Plus, to see how Pride Rock was formed, how Taka became known as Scar, how they met Sarabi, Zazu, and Rafiki - to me it was a beautiful story. And it's actually quite tragic, because we know the fate that awaits this one of a kind lion who wasn't born to be king...but was destined to become one. That being said, there were some things I didn't like. For starters, I was really annoyed whenever Timon and Pumbaa practically interrupted the story with their comments - if anything they should have enjoyed the story just as much as Kiara did - they may not have been in the story, but I believe that's what made it better. There was also Kiro's song...which I thought was pretty terrible. Kiros was a pretty intimidating character, and so, his song should have been more menacing - heck, Scar's song in the live action version was actually better than Kiro's. We should have seen the Outsiders kill (or at least viciously attack) Mufasa and Taka's clan. We saw Eshe bond with Mufasa, but it would have been nice to see Obasi bond with Mufasa too before his departure. It would have been good to see just how many days have passed as Mufasa and his new clan journey to Milele - I feel like that would have helped the chemistry buildup between Mufasa and Sarabi. I also would have prefered that after reuniting with his mother, Mufasa took the rest of the day to mourn the death of his father - and the very next day, roars over Pride Rock - symbolising the sun rising with him as the new king. I still think this was a good movie. And it definitely deserves more attention and recognition.
I'm surprised by the negativity Ive seen, they're acting like the movie is a torture to sit through and I really don't get it. It's got all the feels of Lion King that the 2019 missed out on. If anything I was really happy to finally get some Scar backstory that seemed like it could fit with both the 94 classic and the remake. At best I think a LK fan will ask for more, but I doubt a majority who actually ( bothers to ) watch it, will hate it. If you're worried that this will be as non-organic and robotic like 2019 .... don't! I was actually shocked that this time around the script and the delivery had some passion put into it.
@jolight3040 1. Your probs a bot since since I've seen this exact comment, word for word on other comments. 2. HE'S STILL HIS BROTHER. Blood does not immediately equal family. You think adopted brothers aren't real brothers or smth? Also, if anything it's more special since he CHOSE mufasa as family instead of just being bound by blood which makes scars betrayal hurt more. Also, in the og, scar and mufasa never really looked like they were brothers anyway. Nor did they act like ones
I agree with the facial expressions, it's a bit better than the 2019 remake. What you also have consider is that the remake was made 5 years ago, so over time technology and budgeting has improved enough to made it work better. Lastly this is a prequel, not a title of the 94 film, so of course it paved the way for an original story, yet most people are still disappointed. When comes to a beat4beat remake people are wrong. Favreau clearly made a point, "You make remake a movie called "The Lion King" and then do you're own thing, you have to honor what came before." Yes my main criticism is a little lack of facial expressions, however they made the right decision of sticking to the original beat4beat.
What I like about this film is I can really feel the emotions of the characters although is live action, give me some vibes of the cartoon, a big improvement compared to the 2019 film
I like this movie. Like honestly, I do. There's a ton of stuff i do not like about it, but I like the movie. They took the criticisms of the 2019 film and gave us everything that it should've been in Mufasa. It doesn't deserve to bomb
I watched it today in the cinema, and I felt a chill go down my spine. The dramatic part happened so quickly in the beginning! The difference between the 2019 movie and this one had my jaw dropped. I loved it. The only criticism (If you can call it that) was that Taka got his scar different from what he claimed happened in the lion guard.
Thank you for this review! I'm hearing all these negative comments about this movie, and I just don’t see it. This movie was good! Not a mediocre mess, bad sequel, etc. I really enjoyed it.
This one was the only Disney live action alongside Stitch and Moana that I will give chances because at least it honors the culture the original animated movie has established! There is no race swapping and the lead stayed true to his character and the expressions and colors have improved a lot!
@@stuffed-sq5fz nah that shit is valid in at least some of the remakes when you look back on them. The new ‘Snow White’ is pretty telling of what Disney Values… they want to value diversity, but the moment people or another celebrity.. *cough* *cough* Peter Dinklage *cough* says this is disrespectful then they immediately go back on themselves. So now because of that we have an upcoming Snow White movie with no dwarf actors, no love to the original story and an unlikable protagonist that wants to become a “Strong Woman”… man I just want a happily ever after cause Disney acts like it’s bad to want love
I just got home from seeing the movie and it was REALLY good! I thought the story was good, the animation was better than the last time, and the voice acting was top notch! The songs were forgettable (to me...although not bad) and I wish to goodness that they had left Timon and Pumbaa out. But, apart from that, I thought it was really good...dare I say, great! I enjoyed myself. Definitely give it a go. ❤ EDIT: OH MY GOSH!! I just this very second realized why the villains were white lions! 😮 #KimbaTheWhiteLion
As much as I didn’t like the fact they used “Taka” (ugh”) and Scar was the royal and not Mufasa (BIG BRUH) I will give the movie a chance once I have the chance to watch it after Christmas. Same with other movies like Sonic 3, the HTTYD remake, and other movies out of curiosity. Also as a Kimba fan, I can tell the Kimba super fans are gonna get aneurysms over it just because white lions are in it and are in the antagonist squad. Also how tf are you gonna use “Taka” but not “Uru” and “Ahadi” since Taka was from the old 6 New Adventures books?? Just go all out! Also Zira was right lol
Even though I like Sonic way more, and I'm seeing it Sunday, I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Mufasa: The Lion King. Sure it's not 2D animated BUT they finally gave them facial expressions, better visuals, and an interesting storyline between Taka and Mufasa. The only things I have to say about it is it really isn't gonna be the same without James Earl Jones and Jeremy Irons as the two iconic characters. I'm not going to enjoy Simba, Nala, and Kiara too much cause the actors/actresses really don't match them in my honest opinion. And I'm not too fond of how they tweaked the backstory between these two (like making Mufasa an orphan, etc.,) Overall, seems pretty solid to watch 😊.
@ Ty I do appreciate it 😇I do apologize other Sonic 3 movie people kept being toxic about this and starting this worthless debate. Not all of us are this way trust me, I do love Lion King as well
i am going to watch the movie later today and i am looking forword to that and i hope they honor james earl jones i mean the fact that they got him to voice mufasa in the 2019 live action they may not do but man i would love to see them finaly add kopa in the this franchise as simba first child and be like a older brother for kiara a couble of things i like from the 2019 movie is they added a couble of more cubs in the pride and i always though how did nala managed to leave the pride land wich was nice to see the new movie and i did like they got away with the lets say germanic hyeenas and made them abit more scary and a threat to lion cubs
I'm still not a fan of the creative choice to make Mufasa and Scar adopted siblings instead of blood related siblings in the canon lore. Anyway, I rather watch this movie on Disney+ and go watch Sonic The Hedgehog 3 in theaters because it has my favorite character, Shadow the Hedgehog.
This is good! Also, The original is so good! I’d rather class this as a prequel sequel to the original movie!! Villains are so awesome and in prequels too! I’d love to see a Kiros prequel!
I love the new Mufasa movie and I really don’t get the hate for it. It’s really awesome that the characters are more expressive again and there are good hyenas in the background!
I caught the Haynes in the background too 😅 honestly if they make “Simba’s pride” with this level of animation, I will be first in line for opening night
I saw the movie today as well you are not alone in your opinion. If the critics are choosing to hate on this film they already had their minds made up before even watching the film. Mufasa didn't look bad at the end, scar asked for forgiveness and he did ultimately save mufasa's life before that. Mufasa's choice to get scar a second chance was completely understandable.
I loved the style, the facial expressions, the score, the story - only two critic points: Takas fall was way too fast (even if he is a teenager and Sarabi was his first love, yes, he feels very betrayed) it would have been better, if Kiros had found him, after Takas song and would have manipulatet him in his hate more. And after Taka saves him from the water, when the animals want Mufasa as king, that we see Taka/Scar swear revenge or something, because yes, Mufasa stole his destiny. But way after Taka said that in the movie. The second thing I didn´t liked, where the songs. Lin should have made the songs for Moana 2, because these songs weren´t nearly as good, as they could have been. They were just ... there. Of course no songs can be as good as the originals from 1994, but The Lion Guard had better songs
This is a random request: Can you watch the new movie Flow? My brother watched it recently and said it was one of the best movies of this year, I haven’t seen it yet but now I have high hopes for it!
I watched it and it was..ok. It doesn’t really feel like a Lion king film (if that makes remotely any sense? It probably doesn’t but something about the story felt off). It also felt really long yet rushed at the same time and the villains were very wasted. Visuals were gorgeous though
It was better than the 2019 film. Land was more lively, characters had more emotion and too bad it’s too late to fix the 2019 film but oh well. My only nitpicks is Timon and pumbaa were reallllly annoying in this not funny at all. They were ok in the 2019 but tried too hard in this. Movie could have done better without them. Villain was a little cringe mainly his song. The ending of it anyways and Zazu was a little cringe at some scenes but at least was actually useful in the story. The twist in which Scar got his Scar was good. And why he grew jealous was something I could see and made sense of the 2019 movie. So all in all not too bad if u can ignore the warthog and meerkat
I would honestly say this, the choice is yours, do not go by what all the other reviews have said, because at the end of the day different movies appeal to different people, there are movies I love that have gotten negative reviews and people have said "do not bother" with. if you feel you really want to see it, give it a chance, you may love it, now if its something you want to wait till streaming for and want to go watch Sonic 3 or another movie thats playing in cinemas, then by all means, its your money, its christmas season and you wanna go out to see the movie your choice of movie.
Yeah I greatly disagree with you the live action Lion King was phenomenal and who gives a damn when everyone else thinks if you enjoy the movie so what not everyone has to like the same damn thing
ive always been out of touch with the wider audience. I really enjoyed the 2019 Lion King remake and dont see why so many people didnt like it. I was completely fine with the lack of facial expression because to me it would be weird for animals to have human like face expressions, and to me they still were able to convey their emotions just more through the voice acting which was completely fine for me.
i haven't watched the movie yet, but i would like to know from you: would you have preferred that this movie was canon to the original lion king and animated in 2d, because the way i see it, there is no reason to make a live action prequel to a remake of a beloved classic. why not just make a prequel to the beloved classic if they want to bank on the success? even though the remake got a billion dollars, the movie was lackluster, like you said. why not just leave it in the dust?
It’s honestly just a pretty good stand alone movie, if this was released when I was a kid, I’d be hooked faster than lightning, I genuinely wished they could have added or cut out some of the scenes that were made, maybe even lengthened some of the scenarios by just a handful minutes and it would be a 10/10, but overall solid 8.5/10 not great but worth a trip to the cinema🍿🎥
Honest to God, I did give this a try, I saw it just today and the best way to describe it is (unfortunately): wasted opportunity. They did improve do much when we compare it to the first movie of this live action saga, it is a lot better visually (we can see expressions, yay and it's definitely less grey and dull overall), we did get a goddamn VILLAIN and his song is legit very good and finally, it's nice to see this is an original story (even if heavily inspired by the actual origins of mufasa/taka and even on parts from the animated sequel, Kiaria being introduced mostly). So yes, was this better than getting a soulless live action remake?? Absolutely! But...uh... that's kinda it for the good things honestly. The pacing and narrative are all over the place, the utilisation of the story inside a story was (imo) badly used, with too much pressure put on Timon and Pumba having to be there for the humour, when they really felt out of place and unfunny (the dvd sequel 1/2 did that bit better with them). I was SO HOPING the relationship between the two brothers would gradually unfold...aaaand we got a fast and sudden villain transformation of Taka instead.. I'm not buying he became a to-be-tyrant because his crush choose his brother- (yes, it was a sort of drop that made the vase overflow, but the way it's paced and "showed" in the movie is really bad, as in they should've actually given the brothers more screentime to actually show how it went from point A to F). Even Mufasa's childhood and him loosing his parents, just to then be adopted and him accepting that so fast... most of these plot points had potential really, but the way it was all written makes it mediocre at best. I still see this is a win, because it seems they listened to the audience for once, but I can't truly consider this a good movie (and i really wanted to this time).
This movie could be better than the 2019 version, but that's not why I will refuse to see it. I am tired of Disney denying its roots in favor of live action and realism. I feel like the studio is absolutely disrespecting itself and its Legacy and not giving people what they're asking for. They are struggling with their animated films, rushing and botching production, playing it too safe, not giving good marketing. It's almost as though they don't care about animation anymore. DreamWorks is stepping up to fill that void, and I am here for it. I just wish Disney would stop pretending that it doesn't have roots in traditional animation. And I wish it would stop riding off of the coattails of 30 year old mascots.
I will be watching Sonic 3 instead. Though I wish that was fully animated as well. But DreamWorks is absolutely carrying Western animation right now. With Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, The Bad Guys, The Wild Robot, and possibly even Dogman. I'm not sure what I said that isn't true. Thankfully Disney fired the last CEO who thought that adults didn't want to watch animated movies. But if you think Disney is not riding off of the coattails of 30 year old franchises, well just look at the video you clicked on and check out the live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch. Simba and Stitch are two of the biggest mascot money makers for disney. And this company is pouring all of their money into these realistic retellings of popular movies. Meanwhile, they are crippling their other animated projects.
@DukeSar77 All of it isn't true. And like I said before did you forget Megamind 2, the spirit remake, Orion, the boss baby 2, teenage kraken, KFP 4, and etc? Dreamworks and carrying anything dude.
@@DukeSar77 And by the way sonic 3 sucks ass. Overrated for sure. Generic lazy predictable story, terrible predictable generic dialogue, mid generic action sequences, unfunny cringey kiddy humor, and etc.
It is canon or at least one of the different canons kinda of like the direct to dvd sequels there is the cinderella:dreams come true and cinderella:twist in time
Being better than the 2019 film doesn’t exactly mean anything. That doesn’t reassure me. Maybe it’s good but I can’t trust Disney with my wallet. I’ll watch it later. However, it should have been animated.
Honestly, I’m glad they listened to audience criticism and did their best to fix the problems the 2019 film had, since this was *definitely* an improvement. 😅
what problems
@ Mainly to do with the movie looking too stale and not “lively” despite it being live action.
So, I guess the people BTS listened to the feedback, hence why there are different environments and the facial expressions are better here.
Agreed. This movie is really good.
Majority of its haters are definitely anti-Disney people who were gonna trash this movie regardless.
True,
Ngl i kinda had the vibe that the movie seemed more like a film for the fans.
i feel like it could have been better but i really enjoyed myself. I love the music, the characters were alright (i see no issue with Taka and Mufasa not being blood brothers, i don't get why so many are against that?) It felt like a broadway musical and after wish? I needed that return
I love Disney and i don't like this movie, i think the lion guard did a better job with scar
It's true. Idk why people always feel the need to compete. Why not enjoy both? It's becoming less debates, but more angry ranting.
@Unbrickable27 Yeah, I am flabbergasted to see how Sonic 3 fans can't tolerate those excited for Mufasa or those who gave positive reviews to Mufasa.
Were doing a double feature, because why cant we like both? Both animation eye candy and nostalgia hit. I agree the debates are tiring. I wish it could be seen like barbenheimer
I think Live-action Disney remake trigger them PTSD
How toxic was the debate between Barbie and Oppenheimer last year?
Watched it yesterday and I can only say this: Ignore the critics score. This was such a fun and emotional movie to watch! A really nice addition to the Lion King universe and in many ways better than the remake. There were 2 - 3 things where I personally wished that they would have happened in a different way but besides of that really really satisfied.
- A fun adventurous story
- A lot of wise words from our favorite mandrill (and he's no baboon!)
- Beautiful african flair
- Fun new songs and an epic orchestral score
- Some really emotional moments which even made me tear up
- The third act is just epic and quite action packed
- Known and beloved characters are getting more depth and I love them even more now (and don't worry, we don't have an Episode 8 Luke Skywalker character destruction with Mufasa here or anything. Really the opposite is the case. Respectful handling with all of them)
- Kiara is to cute to handle
- I think there isn't one new character that I didn't liked. Was even surprised how much I liked Obasi at the end since he seemed to be a total ** at first
- I loved the villains
- Yes, the animals are REALLY expressive this time
- Amazing CGI and landscapes again. Loved all the different biomes
I can only pledge to all of you to give this movie a chance. This one doesn't deserve to flop. It deserves to be a success. More than any remake. Thank you, Barry Jenkins!
Giving this movie a 8/10 right now because of the 2 - 3 things that I would have liked a bit differently. But I will go up to a 9 after I'm getting used to them after some rewatches.
really? oh wow I can't wait to go to the cinemas
It’s not really the critics, it’s the people who are hating, but yeah
@@silashurd3597 I think it's both. While the haters are mostly only annoying the critics can actually really prevent people from going to watch this with their in my opinion overly harsh reviews and critic score on both Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. I can see where they are coming from with some points but all in all their criticism feels really exaggerated to me and almost none of their points really disturbed me that much during my watch at all to give this movie a rotten rating or such.
Hoping for a much higher audience score but looking at the first reviews on Rotten Tomatoes it already looks excellent!
This might be a bot. I saw this EXACT post in response to a video, a video that leaned pro-Sonic 3.
@@littlefoot5013 I'm real, bud ;)
what really made me happy was A. the soundtrack and B. the fact Disney ACTUALLY added a villain.
Just saw Mufasa and I loved it, it surprisingly made me cry at the beginning and at the end
At the end, they also set up Kiara meeting her little brother Kion, and hopefully they do another movie about Simba‘s pride (second lion King movie)
I defaulted to thinking “okay, they’re not even TRYING.”
That’s why people have lost a lot of faith in Disney IMO. We see the realistic style attached to a nostalgic property and jump to the conclusion there’s no effort being put forth. But hey, maybe Mufasa is the exception here!
Is not about hating on the movie, it's about the movie disrespecting the original animation movies, the fact that the live version is saying that Mufasa and Scar aren't actual brothers go against the whole plot of the first movie, when the actual fact is that they are brothers and there's a whole truth origin story to Mufasa and Scar that was in a animation show,
Because of this live version now for the people who don't know the truth storyline of Mufasa and Scar are now getting confused when someone tells them all about the animation show of Mufasa and Scar real background storyline,
It's not about people hating on a live version it's about why the hell have they changed what made Lion king's story so much beloved and learning what the storyline was all about with Scar trying to kill his brother and his Nephew Simba only for now that the live version is saying that the animation movies are wrong because they not actual brothers, it makes the point of the original not making sense if your going off from the live version,
That's like Disney wanting to change star wars where Luke and Vader aren't really father and son, because Luke is adopted, it dosen't make sense dose it? 🙄
The story was already made for them, why change it, am sorry but the live version are always going to be trash no matter what, which is a shame because I did like the idea of the live versions but they changed what made the storyline that it was!!!
Honestly all the negativity around this movie is subjective and shouldn't ruin the fun for those who will enjoy this movie.
I don't think the review bombing is coming from the Sonic fans but instead of coming from people who hate the Disney live action remakes.
THIS
I’ve noticed that a lot of Sonic 3 fans were very toxic and hateful towards this movie during the trailers.
I don’t like how they’re treating this as a competition. I don’t think anybody truly saw these films as competitors except for toxic Sonic 3 fans
You say that your a fan of the original animation movies?
Then why are so confused to why people aren't liking the live versions, you should know that answer if your a fan of the original animation movies,
Or should I remind you??

@Tstyle715 honestly am glad you enjoyed it, because am not a person who trying to stop anyone from enjoying things, and if you can separate the two versions then that's good on you, but me and to a lot of others who don't like it, the reason stay the same that the live version gose against and disrespects the actual storyline, and am glad that you can see what am saying,
Has I mentioned to you Disney could remake the whole plot of Star wars where Luke and Vader aren't really father and son and it could be made as a whole better movie but I still would hate on something no matter how good it was if it didn't sick to what it is,
I do like the idea of the live versions but I will not accept anything that completely changes a storyline of something original, because if you can accept that you don't mind the storyline being changed completely, then what's the point of even watching a movie trying to tell you a storyline if it can be changed in the future?
This live version storyline pointless to even you if say someone else in 50 years or 100 years.. decides to completely changed the storyline again..
Maybe in the future remake of the remake ,
Simba''s name is changed or maybe the whole Lion king is changed to The lion Queen and it's more about a female side storyline then to a male's one, maybe they have a storyline of a female lioness against her evil brother, or aka not brother but step brother 🙄 but yeah anyways am not here to stop anyone from enjoy things, only that they is a real reason why a lot don't like the live versions because they treasure the original storyline and for someone to come and change that storyline completely has an emotional effect on what you learnt for that story to be..,
This why people don't like race swapping characters like Disney do with the little mermaid.. which is also trash,
When a storyline has been made to be one thing, you can not change it or the characters to be something else once the world accepts what that story is all about, this why a lot won't accept any changes even if the movies are good, you can make new characters and have a new plot for a character, same with the storyline.. I don't care about the live version of the lion king, Mufasa and Scar are brothers they always have been and always will be, and the live version can go against the original instead of honouring it, because the original animation movies storyline was already they first.
It’s definitely better than the 2019 version

I just saw it yesterday
And oh my god….
So much better than 2019
The ending made me tear uppp
You might be a shield, but you have convinced me to watch mufasa.
@sofianaab9884 That's why I said "Kion from The Lion Guard," not "Kion & The Lion Guard."
Exactly!@@MichaelHesterII1356
This movie is absolute cinema. My friend conviced me to watch with him but I had 0 expectations, fast forward, I almost cried and found myself clapping at the end
After Mufasa: The Lion King I wonder if the Disney film makers are planning to make the version of The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride in the future because I would like to see Kovu make an appearence at last in the live action but I wonder how it would work out with Kiara's new brother Kion made his appearence at the end of that movie.
Honestly I think Mufasa wanted to give Scar a second chance, they’re family and in the end Scar came back and helped save the day, and after awhile Mufasa decided not to forgive Scar but put the past behind them for their family but Scsr continues to sue in the past and plot his take over
This movie fail because the mob wants it to fail. I actually really enjoyed it, the kids too. The animation was really well done.
Yeah the anti Disney live action people
Was it better than sonic 3? Sonic 3 sucked and was disappointed with how long the movie was dragging out. I have low expectations for mufasa but I'll give it a chance
No no no 😂
The movie fail because..,
Is not about hating on the movie, it's about the movie disrespecting the original animation movies, the fact that the live version is saying that Mufasa and Scar aren't actual brothers go against the whole plot of the first movie, when the actual fact is that they are brothers and there's a whole truth origin story to Mufasa and Scar that was in a animation show,
Because of this live version now for the people who don't know the truth storyline of Mufasa and Scar are now getting confused when someone tells them all about the animation show of Mufasa and Scar real background storyline,
It's not about people hating on a live version it's about why the hell have they changed what made Lion king's story so much beloved and learning what the storyline was all about with Scar trying to kill his brother and his Nephew Simba only for now that the live version is saying that the animation movies are wrong because they not actual brothers, it makes the point of the original not making sense if your going off from the live version,
That's like Disney wanting to change star wars where Luke and Vader aren't really father and son, because Luke is adopted, it dosen't make sense dose it? 🙄
The story was already made for them, why change it, am sorry but the live version are always going to be trash no matter what, which is a shame because I did like the idea of the live versions but they changed what made the storyline that it was!!!
@@jolight3040 So... The movie will fail because people like you can't handle "Alternate Universe"-Stories?
Yes, I agree that it’s nice to see a positive review. I also plan to see this film, and form my own opinion as well.
Yeah it's good to make up your mind, and am not here to stop you from doing so, but you believe that some people are just hating on it for no reason, trust me I was all for the live version and am not against it not being a good movie, but here's the reason why no matter how good it is it's always going to trash because
The reason is that
Is not about hating on the movie, it's about the movie disrespecting the original animation movies, the fact that the live version is saying that Mufasa and Scar aren't actual brothers go against the whole plot of the first movie, when the actual fact is that they are brothers and there's a whole truth origin story to Mufasa and Scar that was in a animation show,

@@jolight3040bruh it's other different universe, not the animation universe... it's not a big deal 💀 the original universe stays the same....
@@jolight3040and yes, if it was the same you would be complaining too for being an "copy"
@anakarolyna1999 okay if you don't mind a storyline being changed then what's the point of even you watching a movie? if say later on someone else changes that story and now anything that you thought you knew now means nothing??
So your logic is that say if Disney was to change the storyline of Star wars where Luke and Vader aren't really father and son and Luke is adopted, that's fine with you 🤔
Why even bother telling people what a storyline is all about or what the characters are..,because to you that dosen't mean anything because it fine with you to change it??
No the problem is that you can't change a story plot when it's already been knew to people around the world to what that storyline is all about,,
This why you cannot just race swap characters like Disney do,
You can make up new storylines and new characters for different story but can never change something that already exists, has I said to you what's the point of even watching a movie if your happy for it to be changed??
The live version dosen't honour the original it disregards and disrespects the actual storyline, Mufasa and Scar are brothers they always have been and always will be brothers , that's the plot to the whole Lion king story!!
I agree with you 100% i can’t believe people don’t like this
I don't mind the cool settings so much.

I loved this movie. And haters are gonna hate 😅
I appreciate this review. Every other channel just sh*tted on this movie for no reason lol I would definitely see it again
I saw the movie with my family 2 days ago, and I really liked it. 7.5/10
I saw it yesterday, I kinda liked it
This one was the only Disney live action alongside Stitch and Moana that I will give chances because at least it honors the culture the original animated movie has established! There is no race swapping and the lead stayed true to his character and the expressions and colors have improved a lot!
Race swapping? Um no offense that’s an invalid criticism
EDIT: OH MY GOSH!! I just this very second realized why the villains were white lions! 😮 #KimbaTheWhiteLion
Oh come on! As rude as Timon and Pumbaa were during the narration, in their defense they were just being the comic relief.
It was okay but i prefear what the lion guard did with scar
Finally someone who respects both movies
@ Ty I do appreciate it 😇I do apologize other Sonic 3 movie people kept being toxic about this and starting this worthless debate. Not all of us are this way trust me, I do love Lion King as well
Am seeing it next week so hopefully it will be good
i am going to watch the movie later today and i am looking forword to that and i hope they honor james earl jones i mean the fact that they got him to voice mufasa in the 2019 live action they may not do but man i would love to see them finaly add kopa in the this franchise as simba first child and be like a older brother for kiara a couble of things i like from the 2019 movie is they added a couble of more cubs in the pride and i always though how did nala managed to leave the pride land wich was nice to see the new movie and i did like they got away with the lets say germanic hyeenas and made them abit more scary and a threat to lion cubs
Shadows origin was good but the rest of the movie dragged on. I give it a 7 out of 10
This is good!
They really should and they should also include good hyenas in it. I was really sad that the animated version didn’t have any hyenas in it at all
I saw the movie today as well you are not alone in your opinion.
If the critics are choosing to hate on this film they already had their minds made up before even watching the film.
Mufasa didn't look bad at the end, scar asked for forgiveness and he did ultimately save mufasa's life before that. Mufasa's choice to get scar a second chance was completely understandable.
I seriously loved this movie
They were just ... there. Of course no songs can be as good as the originals from 1994, but The Lion Guard had better songs
movie was great but I wish soooooo bad that it was in 2D animation like the original movie
After I watch sonic i was alredy planning on watching mufasa to give it a try 👍
And btw, the bye bye song of Kiros really just keep on reminding me Deadpool’s bye bye bye😂
This is a random request: Can you watch the new movie Flow? My brother watched it recently and said it was one of the best movies of this year, I haven’t seen it yet but now I have high hopes for it!
I didn't like Taka's transition to scar. Definitely would have been better how you suggested it.
Even the lion guard did a better job
I absolutely loved the movie! Will be watching it again on Monday 😊 Ignore the critics. They are definitely off about this one
I watched it and it was..ok. It doesn’t really feel like a Lion king film (if that makes remotely any sense? It probably doesn’t but something about the story felt off). It also felt really long yet rushed at the same time and the villains were very wasted. Visuals were gorgeous though
I mostly enjoy it for background animals but they made the actual original story as it has emotions compared to KotPotA as I didn't feel anything
I got to see it today I love it so much better then the 2019 one that I didn't like at all.
This must have to be way better than the 2019 version
Sonic 3 will piss on the moon im telling you
This looks like a wonderful movie!
How does "live action" improve The Lion King?
Wow finally an actual positive review of this movie? I might give it a rent. Had high hopes but all the reviews have made me not want to bother.
I loved 2019 remake
Yeah I greatly disagree with you the live action Lion King was phenomenal and who gives a damn when everyone else thinks if you enjoy the movie so what not everyone has to like the same damn thing
it have legendary Danish National Treasure mads Mikkelsen in it
ive always been out of touch with the wider audience.
I think film was interesting and at least it’s not a shot for shot remake of the original Lion King 2 so that good.
honestly cant get earlier than this
Honest to God, I did give this a try, I saw it just today and the best way to describe it is (unfortunately): wasted opportunity.
I really want to see it but snow has other plan 😕 🥶🥺
That's all false dude. Especially the dreamworks part. Go look at Megamind 2 and KFP 4 for example.
Go watch Sonic 3 instead man
I will be watching Sonic 3 instead.
@DukeSar77
All of it isn't true. And like I said before did you forget Megamind 2, the spirit remake, Orion, the boss baby 2, teenage kraken, KFP 4, and etc? Dreamworks and carrying anything dude.
@@DukeSar77
And by the way sonic 3 sucks ass. Overrated for sure. Generic lazy predictable story, terrible predictable generic dialogue, mid generic action sequences, unfunny cringey kiddy humor, and etc.
Came here after the whole Sonic destroy Mufasa comments from another video.
You somehow got the exact same opinion as me.
Ima go see in a few days, hope it’s good.
Edit: it was actually pretty good, 8/10.

i honeslty think films 40-59 on rotton tomatoes should b their own catergory
Being better than the 2019 film doesn’t exactly mean anything. That doesn’t reassure me. Maybe it’s good but I can’t trust Disney with my wallet. I’ll watch it later. However, it should have been animated.
i think it was way better then 2019 but a lot of things i did not like at all
Love the music, but I'm not crazy about animal-centric film. I wish Disney had used Beyonce and Lin for an animated African musical with humans.
It's a good movie. 2019 movie was also good
where does the Lion Guard fit into all of this.Maybe this movie isn't canon to the OG.
I know it’s your take, I don’t get how you think this is amazing and cars 1 is below average
Lol this review has spoilers for the entire movie.
Im not thanks anyway
I have not watched the movie
Why do you pronounce mufasa as mufasra?
