Jessica, take it from someone who knows from experience, invest in a set of Correlle dinnerware. It will save you money in the long run. It will also save your arms and hands, because it is more lightweight. It is more durable for all of those children also.

I was going to say the same thing. We got rid of all of our dishes, mugs and got a really pretty set of Correlle. They have a lot of patterns and so nice and thin.

My mother used to have dishes like the ones with the flowers as they used to give them away at the super market when you spent so much money. Every week they would feature a different piece so it would take a lot of time and money to get them.

Dishes are pretty. Faltzcraft dishes are heavy, don’t stack well in the dishwasher, and chip. I had a set in the eighty’s and hated them.

I have not been thrift shopping in forever. This weekend my youngest daughter and I have a planned mother-daughter shopping trip to a huge outlet mall. That’s about two hours north from us. They have an IKEA there which is what we’re really going for but who knows what else we may find.

Hello an nice haul. Most thrift stores around here in Tennessee r very expensive . They think cuz they throw the word retro into it. They can make more money off of things 😢. An I love the lamp an plates, baskets an boots especially when theyr brand new . I can c that basket filld with fresh eggs....
Y'alls thrift stores in Florida have incredible items. Kim Wads, NataLee Challan, and others find the best stuff at their thrift stores in Florida, too.

Phaltzcraft dishes are so heavy that our cabinet in our winter manufactured home in Florida almost came off the wall. We had to send them to a thrift store and buy correll dishes in their place. Be careful what you buy.
