When my mom bought her doublewide she never told us anything until the house was put in. I could not believe she was able to keep the whole process to herself. Driving up and her telling us that was our new house is one of my favorite childhood memories. So happy for you guys!

sending prayer that everything works out for you. My hubby went into the hospital the day after Christmas and between that stay and rehab he didn't back home until Feb 10 . God Grace always see me through my life trails . May God Grace be with you and your hubby too.

Great chat Jessica! We raised our kids on land, had to sell and move to city for health reasons. After much prayer we decided to sell again move about 25 mins outside of the city. We start grading next week!! Yes watching you helped us make the decision. We might be older than before but after ten years this old gal missed her chickens. Blessings to you all!

I’ve always financially supported myself, I know God knows our plans way before we do , it’s the human in us , that can make us stress and get anxiety. I had 3 truckloads delivered and used them for years to re-grade the driveway under,in front of the house, etc.

You know you and Nathan could figure out the angle degree of the new house tonight. Then, teach the kids a math lesson it in the morning. You could also, just for the lesson, make a rectangle on paper down to inch by inch small scale representation and then give the kids graph paper you can print off and let them put the house on their grid, take it with to the site tomorrow and see how they did. It would be a reading, art, math, and science project. It would surely help them understand how important math is and how it relates to art, etc. Sorry, i didn't think of it sooner. I am so proud of you sharing your feelings about when things aren't easy. It can be hard to do.

I am so excited for guys. I cannot wait to see your new home and I know it is hard waiting to get a mobile home set up my husband and I have been down that. Road before and it does take a little bit and we had so much rain right for the set ours up it delayed us five months so I was so ready to give up that thank God it got done. and thank you so much for the encouragement because I have 11 children. I have 5 children that I gave birth. to my husband has 2 sons who are also mine.
My son passed away And we raised. his 3 daughters and now my husband and I are in our upper 50s and we got custody of our great nieces which now we are in process of adopting and sometimes I just go over whammed and we found out a month ago that the mom is having another baby and DCS.
Said they would not let her keep it were. I have any really hard time deciding if we want to take the baby we have. A 21 month old
And I 9 month old that we got when she was 2 days old and the 21 month old we got when she was 2 months old.
We would also be taking this baby straight from the hospital it's just so hard. I'll be in my upper 70s when these 2 girls are raised.
I love every minute of it. They keep me young but some days it is a little bit overwhelming and we have 22 grand kids. We love big families we feel so blessed. So please keep us in your prayers for the answer that we need for this new baby and also be praying for my daughters. They are warning to have children I have 4 that do not have children that went' children. please pray that God will bless them with a chil And. my God bless you .

If you will help us pray that we can find a place to move. We are currently living in an apartment complex. We've been here for 9 years now. Can't stand living so close together and hearing all the noises & everything. It also has a lot of memories of our son here. Don't know if I told you but we lost him last year to a fatal car accident. So we need something else. Thank you in advance for your prayers. Love y'all

We are about to celebrate 15 years of being in our new mobile home. I have never been sad or disappointed. Still love it! God is so good and always on time. We just need to trust him. Looking forward to your upcoming videos and journey. ❤️🙏❤️

Hi Jessica! I’ve been watching for a couple months now. I’m so excited for your family. Your journey is nice to listen to and watch. We have a lot in common, big family, home schooling, Jesus loving. I’m really looking forward to seeing the new house being delivered!
As for your driveway, we have friends that used “road shavings”(I can’t remember the proper term). When roads around them were/are being redone they get the milling delivered to them and spread them out for their driveway. The road work company was happy to give it because they were located closer than the normal dumping place.

Have you given thought to having crushed run ( rock ) delivered before home is moved in its sold by the ton and usually takes several truck loads that has to be spreader out . Because the mobile home itself is heavy . My Dad was in the construction business about 50 years. In a lot of different capacities, is why my mind is geared to thinking about this. Hopefully all is settled by the time you read this. Praying for good outcome

Most of our stuff is in storage. We have a little bit with us. But I do need to start.
We had a cement slab put under our house. I think they called it a floating slab which they recommended to do where we lived in MN. Don’t know if that works in Florida or if it s too damp there

Jessica from someone who lives on sand it took three loads of rip wrap and yup. That’s what it’s called rip wrap it’s huge stone it needs to go down first. It’s cheaper to go with the riprap and then put your crushed Crete on top because the rip wrap will fill in more space your grandma will just eat up the gravel, please check into it first. Just gonna try to save you some money kid.

As a mom you have kept everyone moving forward despite the initial notice of need to move, the move, organizing all, besides finding and exploring options for your property and new home.
