My husband and I went to the bins yesterday for the first time! I loved it! Will be going back.
My favorites are the puppet & the lovely silver birds. Yes, I would also change the color on the birds. Great haul!

Wow!! What a haul. The metal wall pocket has a Celtic symbol on it. Would look great painted and distressed. Love my Celtic.

The only bins near us are in Albuquerque NM. It is small and loaded with people that mostly come and load up and send the the stuff back to Mexico. It's hard to even get in and look..lol. We have went to other bins in other states and it is much better.

It's better when dealing with broken ceramics, try not to keep fitting pieces together as each time, bits break off therefore causing an even more uneven fit ~ if that makes sense. Yes to the lamps!!!! Thanxome,Bon EKA CA USA 🌲

Would love to hear more about the sales, inventory management, how you decide what shows or apps to sell on… if you have an online inventory management system would really appreciate knowing more about that. I’m trying to keep track of what I have/ have spent etc to see if I can do the same type of thing long term and any info hints lessons learned you can share would be great!

Am in Wilmington NC and we do not have bins in Goodwill, we don't even have shopping carts...would love to shop the bins

But uou did great! The 2nd store you spent about $1 per item (bundling somethings like the cookie cutters) ...so great price and I hate the store for breaking everything and throwing away what doesnt sell... Another store could buy it or get donated because eventually almost everything would get used up.

I've become my mother...time to get rid of alot of my clutter. Tired of dusting it and just need it to go! My 35 year old son said, why, mom? No, keep it. So I let him dust the crap now. Boy, will my kids be sorry they didn't want me to get rid of a lot of my second hand finds when they have to unload all this stuff someday. 😊

Bri I am 65, I am to old to go through those bins, Most people our age, don’t thrift anymore, we have retired and have everything we need, I do go to thrift Stores and look around, But as we age my dear, we downsize, because we have saved stuff for years, that we just pack it up and donate,
I went to the bins in Tampa. They weren’t shallow like yours. They were 4 ft deep laundry carts. Horrible.

Yeah, bins aren’t for everyone. People can really reach savage status at the bins and it’s sickening, but I am usually able to overlook it just to find treasure!!
