Skateboarding is honestly one of the hardest sports . If anybody is good at it . I know they put nonstop stop work at it
I love hearing him say good things about his dad.
It's interesting to hear about how "professionally" he skates and them look at each other like "Yeah, we didn't do it like that." Just two different era's and perspectives/situations but funny to watch them collide.
Shout out to Nyjah for explaining what a "hot pocket" is. I've had em for over 5 years and never knew how to describe them to PTs or doctors lol. Now I have a jumping of point for recovery.
For 20 years I’ve braced my falls landing forearm/elbow to shoulder, never hand/wrist first. This year I pushed the head of my radial into my elbow from landing on my forearm. Getting older and skating truly does suck.
Sometimes if you are hurting your wrist you are falling wrong

My first surgery was a broken hip I got hit by a old ass lady on my motorcycle and put my femur through my pelvis and shattered my hip at 22 years old never broke a bone in my life 6 hr surgery picking bones out and getting a bunch of hardware put in then finished off with a 180 staples in my butt, I was a skater most my life I’m 29 now sucks
Damn, that's hard. That sounds like a very bad break. I hope you are able to get some functionality back. Even if you can just not have pain. Sorry that happened fam.
@@treehouse6025 thanks bro ! Was real bad luckily the doctor I did a pretty good job took while to relearn how to walk and definitely have days where it’s sore but I’m blessed to still be here

wrist guards are a life saver for me! cant afford to be out with a wrist injury.
I tore my front acl too but i was unfortunate that my meniscus was fckd up too. So the surgeor said that he had to take 60% off of it and it just left like 40% because it was flapping and sht. It affects cushioning and things. It feels pretty good but you allways try to avoid risks after an injury like that.
There are not two parts of an ACL. There is the ACL that keeps your tibia from sliding forward compared to the end of the femur. The other "part of the ACL" that makes the "X" is the PCL. The PCL keeps the tibia from sliding backwards in relation to the end of the femur.

@bagpipesnbread ive seen him he is a good skater, my problem is he won so many comps he shouldnt have, overrated in that regard.
He does mean trivks like a robot, fake style, same tricks for me its just boring.
Eqch to there own, like i said he is great, for me he is overated and hyped by the judges.
