I'm pretty sure this is actually subharmonics. He's singing the octave above, and adding vocal fry to it in order to make this "vibration bass"-like noise. You can tell because he starts at the octave above, and is able to quickly fluctuate between octaves with ease. It's insane.

@@alsorittik2709 yeah that's called vibration bass. The reason people vibrations sound different is due to the choice of sub harmonic. Like Indicator for instance is going to the 2nd subharm in 'in an alien'. Standard vibe bass is not using a subharm, but instead is on prime.
