Oh my God 10 minutes trying to get this freaking top off…less than one minute into your video and I was able to figure the damn thing out. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much for this. I kept losing the twine and did not know why, because I had always wrapped it the same way as when I got it. Looks like part way through it was wrapped the wrong way. I followed your steps and it worked like a charm.
Thank you for demystifying string replacement. My trimmer was out of string and I bought new string. It sat on my workbench for months until I saw this video.
Super helpful! Worked like a charm. Using the little notches is the key to this, one that other DeWalt videos fail to mention. One comment: Remember to take the string OUT of the notches in the spool as you thread it through the holes in the casing or you may have trouble pulling out more later on. This may be obvious to some really smart people, but it wasn't obvious to me until I looked closely at how you threaded the string at the end. Thanks again. Great video and yes, I subscribed.
Thank You! I just bought this trimmer a month ago and havent been able to restring it correctly..lol I dont know why this trimmer was giving me a hard time. I've owned many of them through the years.
I am so pissed. Been running around town for hours trying to find a new head for the damn machine. They don’t sell it anywhere. I broke my last machine trying to take off the damn head. You had to put a screwdriver into a hole and twist it, then I broke it.. Who makes these damn locking mechanisms? Why does everything have to se so overly complicated?? It’s Mindblowing to me. Well, decided to just the cable instead and follow your videos.. Thank you ❤️🙏
Damn it why are all videos not exactly like this, giving me all the info I need and nothing more. Subscribed.
