The supreme Court has ruled the speaker's ruling to be stayed ie suspended till the court comes out with its actual or final determination on the challenge of the NPP to the ruling of the speaker.
The stayed can't be executed becos it is flawed...Parliamentary is an independent arm of govt n the business of Parliamentary must go on as provided by the constitution of ghana

@@richardgbande6866 Parliament like all the other arms of govt is truly, independent of any other of govt. However like all the other arms of govt, Parliament is not independent of the constitution of Ghana. Parliament is subject to the constitution that created the house. We're not running a parliamentary system of government. We are running a constitutional system, whereby the constitution is superior to every arm of govt. That's why the supreme Court has ruled that the ruling of the speaker be stayed. The court will later interpret the section of the constitution the speaker wrongly used to declare the 4seats vacant. The honorable speaker can now do nothing against the ruling of the supreme Court.
So really it means that once as an MP if you loose your primaries you can't go independent
