Madness were the first band I liked as 9 year old in 1980. It takes me back to when me and my mates went to see Take it or Leave it at the Cinema in Bishop Auckland when we were 10 yrs old, seeing the video accompanying this song makes me emotional.

Thank you for posting the video. So grateful to have their music since I first discovered them years ago. They do stay forever young. And a band whose songs are so loved by so many and they have stayed successful and - authentic - young for so many years without any headline dramas, scandals, multi dollar divorces, haven’t become arrogant in the slightest - that’s just phenomenal.
My twin sister and I had all their records and our bedroom wall was covered with posters and newspaper cuttings of them all. Time moves on. Remember that film, Groundhog Day?!

Madness never took themselves too seriously. So its often easy to overlook how beautiful their music is. And their later music was even better than their earlier work. With most bands its the opposite . Its sad that they didnt get more mainstream attention in America. Over here they are only known for " Our House".

Saw 'Suggs Live' at the Garrick theatre in London on Sunday night. What a superb night.The way he tells his life story is happy,sad,funny and just brilliant which any Madness fan would love. Forever young is played before Suggsy boy has you laughing your head off.
