On screen printing do you do your own color separations ?
Yes I usually do everything myself.
RobDiazTv...Just curious, I have read that the Epson WF-7720 is great for sublimation, but what kinda results are you getting from printing the transparencies for screen printing? I'd like to find a print for the best of both worlds.
It worked great for me. I just switched to another printer for sublimation so I got a new printer for screen printing. Which I’m going to make videos on
If you have the printer in heat the inks clogged the nozzle you’d have to run it over and over or flush nozzle
Thanks. That makes since. Before I had it inside my house and it still did the same thing. I always do the nozzle clean a few times and it starts working again
How was the wash after sublimation on cotton 50/polyester 50? Did it fade?
No it didn’t fade. But it just depends how many times you wash. Just like any other shirt.
painters tape work also
AH Live 215 You use painters tape to hold down the paper before you press?
@@RobDiazTv yes it doesn't burn or leave glue. Some people including me used that heat tape and it left yellow glue behind. Its hit or miss with that tape
I’m going to try it. That heat tape is also weak.
How did you end up fixing the color streaks on the picture.
Custom Creations By Stephanie I had to do a Print Head Cleaning a few times on the printer. Until the Print Head Nozzle Check lines were all straight without any gaps. It took a while. But that usually happens if you don’t sublimate a lot.
I've had the same problem with my Epson WF-2630. I also do the head clean 2-3 times and than do the head alignment and it fixes it.
lynwood77 Is it an epson problem you think or maybe like I said it’s because you need to use it constantly.
RobDiazTv no epson isn’t the issue if it’s hot where the printer is set then it will clog more than normal, every printer gets dried ink in print head weather you use for sub or regular printing if you don’t use for for long or left in heat
Sublimation on 50/50 will wash out 50% look at your sheet when pressing there should be barely any ink on the sheet left,
Subbed ... where can I get a good 50/50 shirt price sir 🙏🏽
Alphabroder.com. Make an account and you don’t need a license to buy from them
Sublimation is only on white or u can do on dark colors too
I’ve never tried on dark colors. When ever I have a project with dark colors I use inkjet transfer paper. Works perfect since most people only need it for birthday shirts or rest in piece shirts which only get used like once or twice.
You can't sublimate on dark shirts. It'll be difficult to see the colors and anything that's white will be the same color as the shirt. EasySubli HeatTransfer Vinyl with a high quality print with sublimation ink looks comes out really amazing. It's a special white sheet that you can print on, peel like vinyl (no mirroring) and print right on to a shirt. Looks dull when you print but it comes out SUPER vibrant especially when you tune up the printing quality; I set mine to the highest quality matte finish on my CISS modded Epson WF-7720. Comes out really nice!
Golden Cedi Thanks for the reply. I have never used that vinyl. I have an order coming up on black shirts. I will definitely be trying that out. Thank you
Are you using 400°F?
Carmi Sales yes it’s 400”F
most people for 60 seconds
