  • Easily one of my favourite 'new' stories to be included in some of my most recent keynotes is Broadways very own Ellen's Stardust Diner.
Live at the Glasshouse, Gateshead (yes, I was actually home for tea) the theatre played host to Andrew Pickering & Pete Gartland ATOMICON 2024.
Looking to leave the wonderful audience on a high, I chose this as the closing story. Its all about how an overall experience and collaboration is your greatest strategy for attracting future customers.
Every individual in any organisation can deliver a Celebrity Service, but sitting there witnessing an entire team supporting one another, was both rare and special. This had nothing to do with the food, the price, the location or the building, it was all about the little things the team did that to many would go unnoticed.
Now it would be easy and some would say normal, to just share the story on stage then play the video. However, that's not how I like to do things. Engagement and participation even in a keynote can be crucial. So I play my own version of Big Apple Bingo - giving the audience a checklist of things to look out for before I press play and they watch on the big screen.
So I hope you enjoy the build up...
