These podcasts are always cool for me to listen to while we're building them. I actually test the trucks on the dynos(4x4test) here and test for everything inside. This interview was good but could have been a lot better if you allowed him to elaborate and potentially even asked better questions, not so surface level. 1:43:17 I completely agree I had a cts-v2 and bought a bunch of used parts from a pilot now friend that used everything for one hit and got it all at a good discount, built a 900+whp V beat on it had my fun sold it got my money’s worth. Bought a heads, cam, turbo 6.0 C10 for a good price all I did was fuel cell and mac valves now it runs good and hard and paid almost the same for the whole setup than I would’ve if I bought a stock c10. It just takes a ton of patience and looking for a good deal

I was born in 60'... my first fast experience was working at American High Performance in Beaumont Texas in 75' at 15, and taught BBC's wrenching onTHE WINNINGEST, WORLD RECORD DRAGBOAT ( Set the Unblown Gas Flatbottom RECORD ) named " COLE BLACK "... then at 16 my first car in 76' was a 69' Chevelle SS 396, and that year in Auto Mechanics I built an L88 and dropped her in... and from then on BBC, SBC... period... except on our part owned Alcohol Funnycar... it was a BRAD FATHEAD( Hemi... ) back in the day... lol.
THEN IN 2022 I had a chance to drive an F-150... IT RUINED ME FOR SOME MANGY DOG...lol... A COYOTE!!! ( I couldn't believe your description of the Original " El Gringo "... ditto here except for a prototype LS head... lol ) and have a NEW 24' and another one ordered... but... BUT I was born and spent my life with jets, then pills... lol NO... with different size orifices, and Barrel Valves... I cannot do the E anything... include tuning. I am an ANALOG GUY... to learn ACAD... TOOK ME 5 YEARS... LOL! Sounds like M.P. is the deal. I spent 45 years welding and fabricating, and Machining, and a Millwright, all Classic Union Training... lol, yeah electronic anything doesn't compute. By association I learned all the terminology, but applying it... forget it.Great to see you on this video! Cleetus raves about M.P. too so I don't need to hear it 3 times. KUDO'S my friend! I love my Gen 2 Mustang GT I love the sound of my motor.. I only have an Xpipe but I love the sound and I can rev mine out way past red but I only do that once in a while.. I'm not out there hammering on mine like that.. I just like shifting my own gears..

We didn't have this tech. When I was young 15's and 12's and 13's was really fast and we didn't care about going over 120/130 miles an hour either.. Auto's were trash back then too OMG bad... I got out of high school in 91 and had a 1976 F250 lifted for first truck. I did some chevy's and nissan cars in between but I'm back in a Ford. Oh ya We didn't have OBD2 ports.. Foxbody was king back then for money to power. Oh and most people who went fast were in a manual.. We had these terrible 3 speed auto's back then. I basically have a Stock GT but I get it now.. The new cars that are out are crazy fast compared to what we had.. Honestly I could only be a dig racer these days because I don't want to do 200 or over that.. That/s passed taking off for flights speeds, lol I just want to get to 130/150 quick as hell and get right back on the breaks.. I have a lot of respect for what these guys do on drag tracks and no prep.. Serious respect for what they are doing.. But when people start doing it in traffic at 120 and up thats what ruins it for the guys who just want to run on a back road somewhere away from traffic. Midnight Teach Cletus how to keep his truck running A. and then Teach him how to keep his front end down... LOL.. It's all in good fun..

So, watching majority of this video so far looks like FORDs new 302 pulls like a HONDA engine if it were a V8, the engines pull all the way to redline, and they easily go up over 8000rpm. I am just saying that people didn't understand what the imports were about for decades, and now they figured out the technology and they are hooked just the same.
