I was taught to do treble crochet the same way you show but I've seen other tutorials do it another way. I'll stick with what i was taught. Nice tutorial. Thanks!
"Treble crochet" means 2 different things, depending upon the part of the world you are from. There are "American" crochet terms, in which "treble crochet" means what I show in the video. Then there are "UK/British" crochet terms, in which a "treble crochet" looks like an American "double crochet." Gets confusing sometimes :)
