Purple Frost Edition had supposedly lighter clicks than the original 8k, is it the same case for this OP1w 4k ? Also, how noticeable is the weight difference of 9grams for you ?
Oh, schiit! I saw the thumbnail few times and thought it's just the wired version of the purple one and just came across your video crossposted on Reddit. Well, you quickly crushed my dreams after 1:22. I was really hoping for the purple one in wireless. The idea of buying 2 product just to merge them is not sound for me. It seemed too good to be true.
The purple frost 100% does have more flex. Whenever I push down on my scroll wheel when the mouse is off the mousepad, the bottom shell flexes outward from the top shell. Maybe thats only my copy but so many have said similar things. Its purple tho, so it gets a pass lol
The nature of translucent shells. I had Vancer Gretxa and MZ1. MZ1 was squeaky mess but Gretxa was absolute POS. Literally every single thing about this mouse was horrible and 70% of the issues were caused by the shell. They are really pretty yet pretty bad.
The transparent shells are definitely more flexible, and brittle it turns out. Two of the screw ports on my xm2 exploded just from taking skates off, thankfully it’s not caused any issues lol
hey aimadapt, when you opened the mouse, was the pcb screw positions the same as the o1pwe? Since I have a 3d printed base mod, i was wondering if i could use the op1we one with the op1w 4k. Thanks!
just want to know why click latency on the dex is as it is other people claim better numbers and also just curious if you really notice a difference in use case in this top 10 list 8:10
was wondering when this will appear. I had 8k, but did not want the cable. I went with OP1we but i have modded the clicks, swaped for mechanical switch PCB from ALi, and placed there Huano BSPD. It feels amaizing. Do not know if it is worth to upgrade because of GX switch and 4k. Thanks for Shell swap suggestion and for a good work!
@@tinocabral4201 everyone has different preferences, hand sizes, hand shapes and slightly different grip styles even within the same category. the best way to get an idea if you'll like a shape without trying it is to see what people say who you know have the same opinions as you on a different mouse/mice. also once you've tried enough yourself you can get a good idea just by simply comparing it to ones you're familiar with on eloshapes
if you're completely fine with the op1we there's no real reason to swap. I went from op1we with mech PCB to op1 8k purple frost and got a bad QC copy but performance wise it feels like the sensor is better implemented since it was kinda smoother and I performed ~5-10% better which is not a big difference so no, you can stay with your op1we until your encoder gives up or smth
@@tinocabral4201i have tried alot of shapes, alot of mice. Could have opened my own channel 😅. But for refference, i like small mice, or medium with thin sides. Good shapes for me are op1, zaopin z1 pro, fnatic bolt. I use claw grip, and feel no discomfort from 1st minute i picked them. Op1 is best for pin point, its narrow to the top, so you aim with fingers like drawing with pen. And the feel of the mouse if one of the best builds i had so far.
Good to hear the weight balance feels nice, I love the op1 shape! however the balance on my op18k copy feels a little off. Feels heavier towards the front of the mouse so with fingertip that weight balance really feels heavier than something with the same weight with a better balance. That combined with playing at 48-54Cm per 360o the cord would be annoying even with a bungee. With that being said I couldnt be happier we are getting a 4k wireless and that the weight balance feels nice.
If you like the shaped, try it. The click latency is crazy. I thought i wont notice the difference like wireless 1k to 8k, well i was wrong. But if you play with low sens, yes the cable might be annoying, if you play medium high sens you wont notice the cable.
I have tried something similar and it really does help a lot but I have to say that wireless still gives that extra bit of freedom for crazy movements with the mouse.
@tr4nnel752 Yea, i even have more mice than that like the sora v2, hts 4k, viper pro, etc. The click latency does feel faster than all of those, but I couldn't feel a sensor latency difference. What I love most about the op1 is the shape.
Needlessly misleading to put the Purple Frost shell in the thumbnail and for the review when the mouse doesn't come with that option. I understand wanting to do that for personal use, but for the sake of a review it's completely unnecessary confusion.
So basically the only noticeable improvement over the OP1WE are the clicks? Same shape, same coating, same weight and lets not kid ourselves we wont notice the difference between the 3370 and the 3395 in this. Yeah I'll stick to my OP1WE.
Purple frost shell looks so gooooood
Finally! As much as I love xm2, OP1 8k has been my top performer in my rotation.

you should make a mouse latency tierlist

Liam, are the op1we bottom bases swappable with the op1w4k?
I was WAITING FOR THIS. My op1we, scroll wheel died after 2 years and now i can put it in a case for display
just replace the wheel
so if I want to swap the switches, I can only replace them with the Kalih GO switches like I do with the op1we?
Which one of the 2 do you prefer the most for your hand grip?
hey aimadapt, when you opened the mouse, was the pcb screw positions the same as the o1pwe? Since I have a 3d printed base mod, i was wondering if i could use the op1we one with the op1w 4k. Thanks!
yes, same position
It did get delayed, the release date right?
can you review the atk leviatan set? atk lev edge 60 he, atk lev f1 extreme, and atk lev mousepad
Release date?
hey hows the shape compared to the akitsu
Which ones do you recommend for my hand size 185x105 mm. Endgame Op1w or Xm2w or Zowie ZA13-DW or S2-DW for claw grip?
i have OP1 8k since half year now.
nothing want change, no new mouse needed. i will buy only a new one if it comes with under 112mm lenght
hi . can you include if wireless mouse can run the higher polling rates wired or not in you videos please. thank you
which should i buy between this and atk f1 pro? i dont care about 8k
Viscose and Jakeu going crazy with this
just want to know why click latency on the dex is as it is other people claim better numbers and also just curious if you really notice a difference in use case in this top 10 list 8:10
how is this new one different from the op1we besides 4k? seems like every spec is the same besides 4k and switches
should I buy the hitscan hyperlight or op1 as they are both basically in the same price range, and as they are both small mice
39 vs 59 grams
i'm torn between the OP1 4K and XM2 4k, Had both the WE and sold them both, but I love both mice.
get both 😆
its the same aside from shape, since you've had both, take your conclusion op1 is smaller xm2 is medium
Both shape works well for me, but the carrying case with the xm2 might be it since I travel a lot.

this mouse have the similar shape of the razer viper mini?? i want to know other mouse with similar shape of the viper mini.
Atk f1 and Hitscan Hyperlight
Also the new Pwnage mouse
Glorious Series Two Pro, but they have a lot of quality issues so I wouldn't recommend it unless they can fix them
I need that purple but for big manly hands.
When is the release date? Doesn't state it in their site
it was supposed to release today, but they delayed the release date by about 2 weeks

xm2w or op1w
I would just go based off of size. Op1 is pretty narrow and small if that is what you are into. XM2w is closer to the scale of something like the GPX

Literally the only reason i clicked was coz its purple...and it doesnt come in purple 😂

I like these more than opticals :)
omron opticals maybe, they had kailh GO switches in OP1we - and they feel bad.
Curious, why are optical switches so important? The longer lifetime/amount of clicks?
They aren't.
Who else dipped out at "58.9 grams" 🤣
shape>weight
bro thinks we can relate
If 60 grams is too much for you, I think you should get your head checked 😂.
Well you really should dip out to go to the gym, little man.
@phucvinhle8509 You making a joke out of this is why you're hitting 58.9 percent of your aim potential, bud 😁
Anything above 50 grams is too heavy.
????
Hit the gym, for real. And i'm saying this as someone who doesn't go to the gym.
Does the mouse have inboard memory, so you can just punch settings in and forget about the software? 😊
