So true. Hoarders act like their hoard is part of their body. So removing anything from their hoard feels painful like having surgery done. Or pulling out a tooth. And touching or even looking at their stuff they wince as if you are poking at them, or looking at their insides.
They get very embarrassed, feel shamed, get frustrated, super anxious, and then angry if you try to clean them up without their mind accepting it first. And there's no forcing it. You have to gently but firmly talk to them and ask non-judgmental questions. But it takes forever, a little at a time, and no one has the patience for it.
This man is a national treasure.
I hope Jordan can focus on this more, as I believe it is more common than many would think
But, Geez where ever do you keep your favourite mouse if not with your $1 coin collection?
This guy is fucking everywhere now. Literally everywhere.
I like the 3 min length. I can watch several of his videos a day if he'll keep them this short!
Jeanne DeSilver Prof P gives lectures to the next generation of psychologists and other professionals. The lectures are much much longer. The youtuber who rents this channel edits the lectures into bite sizes for those of us with short attention spans or very short of thinking time.
Why does it nor surprise me a Petersen fan has the attention span of a fruit fly?....

If u took the time and effort u use into these and instead used it to improved ur life u wouldn’t be so miserable to feel the need to go on a video and attack people who like that video when u are the person who wasted time to watch a video of someone u dislike to hate on someone who likes someone u dislike
