Will Still is genuinely living the dream of every single Football Manager player - fantastic to see him getting plenty of recognition for a stellar job this season.
Brilliant brilliant interview. My personal opinion is that I hope Still doesn't get overhyped by the English media or get thrown into a dysfunctional PL club just for the sake of "young English manager" and get thrown under the bus from overpaid players. He has shown that the longer more gritty path is the more authentic one and I hope he continues his slow but consistent development in Ligue 1, if he continues down this path then he will get to the top in a more natural path.
@Jacob Field that's largely because English managers are close-minded. They don't like leaving England so they aren't exposed to new ideas. This guy kinda solves that problem.
Honestly here in France its not how it works, hes slowly starting to get recognition but when he will have a bad streak in a bad schedule lets say alot of our entertainment journalists will shit on him and probably be phisicaly insulting, atleast thats what i witnessed on alot of cases, then when he gets win streak they hop on his d and ride it for few weeks until they stop selling their satanic dogshit papers Also i watched an interview of this guy in french and its fascinating how intelligent he is, he has no accent can communicate very well which is already big in term of skills i believe
He's living the dream of hundreds of thousands, most likely millions of us who've been playing through Championship Manager/Football Manager for the last couple of decades! Wish him the best!
Glad you mentioned champ first. It’s the original You can still download a version of it for today but retro or play it. See ronaldo. Pirlo. Maldivian etc. just in Italy. Larsson at Celtic etc etc
I think this story the media are painting is far too simplistic. Will was a decent level Youth Footballer,he now has,or is studying for a UEFA Pro Licence which is the highest level of coaching qualification in football at present.Add to this that he did years of work to get a job within the game in the first place and among the most important things is that he speaks the language of a lot of Belgian and French people too. He's modest but he's done the hard yards to get there so good luck to to him.
Its more than just being a Football Manager nerd, coaching top flight or any professional side you need to deal with players and manage egos on a human level, you need to convince rich owners that you are the man to lead the team out of a negative into a positive.. coaching is so much more than simply being a tactics wizard
Found this a fascinating watch! I'm a huge FM player myself and have started doing some coaching and got a degree, but this guys is legit living the dream of every single FM player. Fair play to him and wish him all the best for his career going forward! 👏
i highly recommend people to check out his light-hearted interview on Talksport with Andy Goldstein and Darren Bent where he spills beans on his journey, favourite team in the PL, tryst with FM and also how to pronounce the name of his current club.
You can be whatever you want....that rolled off his tongue so genuine and so easily for him it's unreal think that makes the mental difference between him and millions of other people...
Clearly a resilient and intelligent individual. He mentioned initially pursuing being a professional footballer; he’s waayyy too smart to be a footballer. Managerial role is perfect for him
Will still is my hero, I’ve been playing career mode since I was like 7 been football mad from a young age. He makes me want to coach and now I play football manager most days after work I want to emulate him but in my own way :)
As a person aspiring to become a professional coach myself, seeing hard work, determination and will (pun not intended 😛) being rewarded by achieving something otherwise thought as impossible, gives me great strength and motivation to try that myself and see where the journey leads me. Keep going Mr. Still. Keep dreaming. Much respect from a huge fan of your accomplishments from Greece 🤝
Mr. Still, what a great story. definitely one i appreciate hearing as i am at that crossroads in my life after college so thanks for sharing. ps; tell Balogun he'd look great scoring goals in a USA kit
I'd love to play for this guy as a young player, people always question young coaches but I think they're more relatable and they're more often than not very passionate. I think his next stop will be in England.
Wow an inspiring story from a young coach, just one of us who loves football, tinkering about their team on football manager and then actually becoming one is insane. Hope he lives his dream to coach West Ham and will be following and cheering him on!
How does this not have a million views ! This is INSANEE like bro you can really do anything you put your mind to like there is no limit it’s so inspirational for real
When you are driven and really want to achieve your goals and dreams, things will start happening for you! He is where he is because, someone believed in his abilities and appreciated his professional dedication to the sport and team! Maybe we are having a revival of young coaches and young teams, taking on a new view of what football will be like in the future? Maybe we need this to happen in football.? Seizing the opportunity when you get one, is the ability to believe in yourself and the love and passion for what you do! I wish this young fella, many happy returns in football coaching...just don't take the England job!
this guy is unreal lol, living the dream. shout out every guy who signed Lionel Morgan, Freddy William Thompson, Freddy adu, cherno samba and so on and so forth
This man shows that it doesn't matter who or what or where you are in life but if you have a passion and work hard you can open any door, will generally is a prime example of how being passionate and working hard you can do and be anything you want to be. Hope he stays at remis for a few years and hone his craft to become a top tier english manager who can manage any top club in the world
Unbelievable journey Will’s been on 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 So great to hear and see such a fascinating insight into the game we all love. Great video 👍🏼👍🏼 Any good luck Will
actual good coaches are wasted in international football, don't know why people constantly say this as if it is the peak of management. The current England manager is Gareth Southgate man, hardly prestige.
Really enjoyed this. Wonder how he’d get on as England manager someday. You don’t need to be an elite Guardiola/Ancelotti/Klopp level manager for international football - just a good coach who can deliver a good session and put the right energy into the players. Two of Will’s best qualities.
i’m calling it now, Will is going to become a top ten english manager. He’s prolly got 30+ years of career ahead of him, and he gonna do great things with it
Football needs more tactical innovative coaches/managers, well done to those given him a chance. This is why I believe in recruitment in every profession not just in football.
Incredible speaker, coach and story. One of our own 💜
No he prolly started on champ man. The daddy son shhh
Potential FM 24 Cover???
Put him on the cover for the FM24.
I’m next
Dont be dumb , put him on the cover and i’ll buy the game twice! Once on xbox and once on pc!!!

English coach's struggle at bigger clubs. Eddie Howe is the only good coach England has.
@Jacob Field that's largely because English managers are close-minded. They don't like leaving England so they aren't exposed to new ideas. This guy kinda solves that problem.
@@jacobfield4848he's lucky to learn elsewhere, that could help him

Awesome bloke, seems down to earth and gifted at the same time.
I can SEE the passion in his VOICE
All the best going forward Will Still
Truly inspiring, one of the few "wonderkid" football managers, wish him good luck and a long long career in the game
Will Still is exactly the kind of name I'd come up with on FM if I'm ever managing in England.
I get strong Eddie Howe vibes from Will Still. Can't wait to see where his career takes him.
A bilingual Eddie Howe
The vibe is called intelligence
Sunderland
Basically an S-Tier Eddie Howe
The man, the myth, the legend
Such a humble guy, wish him all the best hopefully he becomes one of the greatest coaches ever

Very well spoken, bi-lingual, intelligient and classy. Will Still has a bright future ahead of him.

The part about his favourite thing being creating an environment that people enjoy and excel in. That is what it’s all about
Wasn't expecting him to be this humble. Not surprised at his success having watched this.
i highly recommend people to check out his light-hearted interview on Talksport with Andy Goldstein and Darren Bent where he spills beans on his journey, favourite team in the PL, tryst with FM and also how to pronounce the name of his current club.
took woking from the conference to the champions league in six seasons, stuff like that doesn’t go unnoticed
Championship manager , completed it mate

Very Good coach with personality

Good luck man! Keep at it!
His story is so incredible i still almost struggle to believe it 😂
i’d love to see Roberto De Zerbi in one of these. i think he’ll be a top manager
He is already as an arsenal fan I say that.
I wish him the best with Reims for the rest of the season and the rest of his career
Can't wait to see him in the prem
Incredible. Well done Will. Inspiration to all aspiring young football managers 👍 Believe

This gave me chills. What a story .
I thought Nagelsmann would be the youngest ever coach. But this guy comes along! Just hope he continues to the great job he is doing at Reims!
Anything is possible when you put your mind and dedication towards it
Will Still will be in the Premier League soon. Magnificent story for fellow FM player.
Literally have goosebumps watching this, just goes to show, if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.
If we’ve learnt one thing from this great story, it’s that we’ve been pronouncing Reims wrong the whole time.
I live there and even we find it difficult to say.

There will be a manager vacancy at West Ham soon Will .... a lot of fans (including me) would welcome you with open arms.

If he start a new career again and he will get two Will Still in the game
And buy a youth players for 200 mil from man City, delete the other manager save. 🙂

Will Still still remain at club level?
Maybe in 20 years but right now he needs to be left to develop, slowly but surely working towards premier league
