    Sparking is just around the corner(yes it’s an arena fighter but it counts). 2025 has Bleach, Hunter X Hunter, Capcom Collection 2, 2XKO, and my most anticipated, Garou 2.
    I’m Happy we have options, new and retro, because if one sucks or is going in the wrong direction (SF6), we can easily drop it for another one.
    Great topic discussion man

      Damn I completely forgot about Bleach! And I am excited about HXH. It's giving me mvc3 vibes and I love that. Sparking I wasn't initially too excited for but after watching footage and having hands on with it at Evo I am so ready!
      I agree with you. the fact that we have options is such a great thing! It really is a great time to be a fighting game fan.
      Thanks for the support. I'm glad you enjoyed the content.

    There is never enough. We talk all the time how fighting games are growing bigger and bigger man.

    I'm assuming that 2XKO is going to be free. From what i've been seeing is that you can do 2 v 2s with actual players piloting the 2nd characters. If this is the route they're going, that's going to be a HUGE gamechanger.
    It will be easier to get more people playing it because the better players can carry the not so good players similar to FPS games. I think it will also make players want to get better so that they dont have to be carried as much. I wasnt interested in it at first, but now it has my attention.

      Yes it is going to be F2P. When I had a chance to talk with some of the team they spoke about the 2v2 and having a friend to pilot one of the characters is a way to encourage community building and just overall socialization. I think that is cool. I got the chance to play with my friend at Evo this past year and he is not as good with fighters but he even felt that it was easier to get into compared to other fighting games. It was really cool teaming up and communicating through games against other people. I think this game has a lot of potential to be great.

    There's always room for speed grapplers like bullet. There are too many fighting games but eventually you might get tired of your main game.
    Other games can help develop different skills. If you go from playing a defensive game to an offensive one you learn to break your opponents guard more often.

      Very interesting take. For me I personally enjoy playing a lot of fighting games because like you mentioned they improve your overall skills. They help a lot with your knowledge and understanding.
      Bullet is by far my favorite character to play in BB. My homeboy used to always try to get me to change characters. lol! I remained loyal. Love that character.

      @@CodeRed88 Tekken helped me A LOT with all skills and kof helped me play at a faster pace and practice rushdown. Strive helped me gamble and find God and inner peace.
      I'm fg homeless since damage is too high now. BB had the perfect mix of everything and now it's the +r of the FGC since it's probably our last one.
      I'm starting to like speed grapplers like makotoSF3 angelKOF bulletBB
      It's a special archtype you don't see everywhere like zoners or brawlers.

    If you're trying to be high level in multiple fighting games, yes. If you just love playing fighting games, no.

      @@CodeRed88 nah no beef I just heard this before. Weird to think a genre doesn’t have people play the other games since it’s not easy. Usually see people in other genres adapt in other games. I’m a casual tho so mybe it’s just me.

    • @CodeRed88
      @CodeRed88  13 дней назад

      @@saintbutters3684you good bro. I understand what you are talking about though. I think it has more to do with the mental stack surrounding fighting games. In my personal opinion I think fighting games are the hardest genre to learn and play properly. I agree with you when it comes to adapting. But I think that for some the complexities of these games can become too much. It's a struggle to play one fighting game in their eyes. So trying to keep up with multiple games could be a problem. But you make a good point.

    • @smoothsavage2870
      @smoothsavage2870 13 дней назад +1

      Because they're not easy to jump between like FPS games. You have to spend time learning different mechanics of each game. Then you have to learn your combos to get damage to beat opponents. You have to learn every matchup. It's way more work than other game genres and many games that arent mainstream suffer because of it (ie low playerbases, like in Melty Blood: Type Lumina or DNF Duel).

      Agreed. When I was doing a little research throughout the years there were a lot during the 90s. But like you said they were garbage from what I could remember.
