HI all! This is a continuation from the last video using the SheleeArt pouring medium recipe and the swipe technique. I sped up parts of it so if you hear a chipmunk that would be me. : )) I'm using Modern Masters paint. I saw a dragon at the very end when I show the dried results--what do you see??

The colors are gorgeous. With the white negative space, the fading at the sides looks appropriate sometimes. But it's your painting and you should get the results you want. This is such a great technique and the finished paintings are wonderful. Looking forward to more adventures.

Another pretty one Karen. Maybe others don’t care too much about the splitting on the sides? You inspire me so much. I’m a night owl too and wish I had some good lighting to be pouring at night need to look into that lol.

I read some people use a teaspoon or so of Golden’s gac 900 makes the paint more elastic. Lovely
GAC500 is the better option-I let Jodi know.
Really enjoyed watching you do this one and loved the colour palette. Those cells are stunning and watching you do the pour I can see where I’ve gone wrong with the way I attempt this technique. ❤️❤️❤️

I love the MM paints. But I don’t make work as large as yours, so I just don’t get the tearing or disintegration. Maybe I will get some GAC500 and try to go larger.

DaNG! That’s a nice swipe. I have been having a heck of a time with flocculation (breaking/tearing of pigments) so I went ahead and ordered some GAC900. Gonna have to try 500 now (more chaChing). Thanks for the tip!

Karen, I think it’s gorgeous! I’ve used some of the Modern Masters paints in Dutch pours but not in a bloom yet. Plus this negative space bloom swiping I haven’t yet tried! If mine comes out as good as yours I’ll be thrilled!!

Love this one!!! I really don't mind a slight color fade on the edge as !ong as it doesn't interfere with the main body of the painting, sometimes it can be too much for sure. You are so good with that swipe technique!!!

I agree with you, Karen. I've had the same problem with Modern Masters paint as you. Maybe they're better for brush painting, I don't know but they just don't work for me.

Yes. Amsterdam is the brand.
I heard Arisa Roo had problems with the Modern Masters paint breaking up and genius that she is she added GAC 900 (flexible fabric medium) to it and it worked great the next time. Allowing the paint to stretch without breaking. Just thot I would pass that along. I bought a bunch of the MM paints like everyone else lol

LOL I commented on her video yesterday. Thank you tho!!! I wouldn’t use GAC900 it’s for clothing. GAC500 is a paint extender and a better option. Having to buy an additive just to make paint not shred means the paint is low on pigment and high in fillers. I’ll pass on the Modern Masters!

What? What? I just have no idea. No idea what i would do if anything I ever made looked like that. No, i know me. I would lay down my paints for good.
First time I ever played Yahtzee, I rolled 5 5’s. I have never played it again. Because I won. For a lifetime. First time I ever tried an oyster, there was a pearl. Last concert I went to was the reunion tour of Robert Plant, Jimmy Page with Jason Bonham on drums. Robert Plant sang the song Going to California, our song, to me and my husband in the 3rd row. I really don’t ever need to go to another concert ever. If I poured something that beautiful, I would have it blown up and made into a decal to cover my entire pick up, and walk away. Win.
I don’t need to do it again ever if I get the best.
