GST was the first classic example of this regimes intellectual bankruptcy. They and PM in particular supposed it for 10 yrs and when they came to power seized it but then didn't understand nor has the capability to design it properly and ended up messing it completely. Same is the case with ELI and everything else. There is only one thing that this regime does and it's plainly visible to all.

Problem is that Central government is focusing its policies on supply side economics, by mainly provide tax reductions, infrastructure etc. But not demand side of economics. This has been discussed by many economist, but unfortunately Government is not heeding to it.
