- Not my usual skincare content, but I have been baking this bread a LOT which you will know if you follow my instagram (@logicvsluxury). By now, I'm on Loafy VII 😂. And all those carbs are totally, totally worth it!! Full recipe below⤵⤵⤵

Original: cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1...
BUT, i find my variation below is way easier:
Ingredients:
╰ 430g / 3 loosely scooped cups of flour (and additional for surfaces/hands)
╰ 1/4-1/2 tsp of salt (or use more if you want slightly more salty oomph)
╰ 1/4 tsp active or instant yeast
╰ 1.5 cups of water (lukewarm if using active yeast)
Required equipment:
╰ Dutch oven OR some sort of covered cooking vessel that is oven-safe to 450 degrees f (~232 deg C) -- if you do not have something that can work, you can use a deeper pan and cover it with aluminum: amzn.to/2W1Y5xQ (cheap), amzn.to/2S6EZWi (expensive)
╰ Large mixing bowl
╰ Measuring cups and spoons
╰ Mixing spoon (I like silicone spatulas)
╰ Kitchen towel or some sort of breathable fabric
Optional equipment:
╰ Digital scale (inexpensive and worth it!): amzn.to/3cSThC1
╰ Silicone mat: amzn.to/2VYh1h1
Directions:
╰ Mix flour and salt with active / instant yeast (dissolved in lukewarm water) until fully mixed in a large mixing bowl with room. Dough is wet and shaggy at this stage
╰ Let sit covered for 12-18 hours (or more!) on your counter
╰ 12-18 hours, the dough will have doubled in size and surface will look bubbly
╰ Dump out onto a floured surface (I prefer onto a silicone mat)
╰ With your hands floured, take the dough and gently work it into a ball shape by tucking the straggly ends under
╰ Cover loosely with kitchen towel and let sit for. ~2 more hours
╰ Fully preheat your oven to 450 degrees f with your pot inside (including the lid!)
╰ Flour your hands, take the dough, and transfer into your pre-heated pot upside down (it will look ugly, but don't worry)
╰ Bake covered for ~30min
╰ Remove lid and bake uncovered for ~13-15 more min
╰ Remove from oven and let bread cool for at least 15 minutes
╰ EAT. IT WILL BE AMAZING.

I love love love your vids, hope to see more from you soon :)
I really enjoy your lifestyle content, even more so during lockdown! Please make more videos like this. Can you also let us know your kitchen essentials?
lately, i've been using my dutch oven a LOT, and it's so easy to clean! i have a cuisinart one which was a gift, but if/when this thing starts cracking, i'm definitely getting a le creuset which i will expect to last a lifetime.
Girl I can’t wait to make this
It’s almost tooooo easy! Do it!
Bread looks really good! Maybe a kitchen tour video? The kitchen is chic! Cute gingham shirt. where is it from?
I am trying this today!
how did it go??
This is the exact same recipe I use and it's addicting! I only make one load at a time because it disappears fast haha
That s great.
What is the size of the Dutch oven you have? Thanks!
5qt! but a 4qt would work perfectly too
Looks delicious ! Do you have to eat it right away or is it still good the day after?
Yes! you can keep this for 5+ days or freeze it. I keep it loosely wrapped in parchment paper in my bread cupboard and don't have issues for ~5 days. of course, fresh baked tastes the best, but toasting it works brilliantly for the day-old+ bread.
OMG! What happened to all my favorite youtubers? I was going down the list of subscriptions and many of you are missing from 1 to 3 years. Update please.
Can you do a quarantine vlog? I'm so over it. How are you coping?
haha at this stage, i am starting to get the sense that flattening the curve has worked... it's time to slowly reopen or at least have a clear plan on how this will work. that said, work has actually kept me pretty busy so i haven't necessarily been bored. just bored of only being at home :)
@@LogicvsLuxury Hi... Please update is with a vlog. It's been over a year. Thank you. Hope to watch you soon.
Which city do you live in TX? I live in NYC, and looking for next city to live to reduce my rent, lol. I remember you mentioned you lived in NYC and worked in the finance industry. I am the same, so wanted to know your thought on moving, and how do you like TX. Much thanks!
lots of trade offs so weigh options and test things out. it's not like any decision is permanent.
How long do you let it cool?
at least 15minutes!
I don't know where you could still get yeast. I'm in California and I searched high and low, no yeast of any kind. it looks like a great recipe though.
Haha I had some in my pantry already!
How can I increase my height? Can you help me
i recommend almond flour. wheat is bad for your health. i read about it in wheat belly.
I don’t have gluten issues but my friend has made a very similar bread with gluten free flours! Same idea
@@LogicvsLuxury well the only way for you to know that for sure is to cut it out of your diet.
@@LogicvsLuxury IF YOU STILL hvae acne issues you should try cutting out wheat. wheat causes inflammation
