@donotcomply With glass pans, you should probably heat the oven to 350-375 degrees. Look on the bottom of the pan. Sometimes they will actually indicate the proper temp. At that lower temperature the bread will need to bake longer. Maybe an added 15 minutes. Since I've not used glass pans, I'm guessing on the time. If you have a kitchen thermometer, the interior of the bread should be around 190-200. I hope that helps

It was my first time making this recipe, it came out perfectly golden, smelled delicious, I had jam I needed to use up... and just couldn't help myself! 🤤🤪) next time I make this recipe, I'm going to let the bread have a proper cool-down before cutting in, and see how it holds up with my egg salad recipe!!! I love the idea of knowing I made the ENTIRE egg salad sandwich from scratch, for the first time in my life!! I will eat it proudly hahaha such a great recipe! 😁💖

Our oven has a "Proof" setting (80 degrees F) I proof for 30 minutes, remove the mixing bowl from the oven then re set the oven to 400 F. I degas the dough ball and transfer to a bread pan then place the pan on top of the stove for 30 minutes. The loaf rises a second time for 30 minutes then into the oven for 40-45 minutes.

The salt should not be added with the yeast and water, it can kill the yeast and stop it frothing up. Add the salt to the flour instead. Hope this helps.

If you "de-gas" by stirring down more aggressively after that first main rising, that can minimize those large holes in the finished "crumb."

I was indeed excited and feeling happy that first time the dough i ever made rose very high till reaching the edge of the big mixing bowl 🥣 !
    Above all thank God 🙏
that the bread very beautifully baked and rose high above the loaf pan !!! And the breads super tender and yummy yum that i enjoyed eating several slices that night even after dinner !

Actually on Monday evening my hubby was very surpried when i showed him the dough rose very high till reaching almost the top of the big mixing bowl after proofing ! Because all the recent months when i started to practise and learn to make home made breads , it was never one time the dough rose very high before! And last 2 months all the bread after baking also did not rise high enough.......
You would imagine my real excitement and i was soooooo surprised and thankful when the baked breads rose even higher and beautifully!!!
Jill, indeed that is a new history made in my baking journey and i heartily appreciate your good and encouraging demonstration! 😀
Since Tuesday 🌄 mornings, we have been enjoying the loaf breads for breakfast just with cheese and sooooo yummy and satisfying!
This morning my hubby while eating the breads 🍞 , he asked whether i wrote to thank you for your very good bread receipe ?
Thank you once again and i have subscribed to your channel too ! 😊
Thanks to U Tube too !

Salt doesn't kill yeast entirely, unless there is too much of it, but it does slow down its growth rate. So adding the salt later would allow the dough to rise more - just an FYI. :-)
